NO ONE P.O.V

Her eyes fluttered open and was greeted by the white ceiling after taking a short nap. She glanced at her clock and noticed that it was almost 5 in the evening.

You're up, Lisa?

Her wolf asks as she sighs and rubs her face before nodding. She blinked her eyes for a few moments as she sat up when she was sure that she was fully awake. Lisa got off from her bed and walked to her balcony.

She fixes her hair a little before taking a deep breath and staring at the view in front of her. She is living inside a huge mansion on the mountain so it is peaceful but not so far from the city.

Lisa closed her eyes as she enjoyed the breeze. She took a deep breath as her gaze lend at her garden where her best friend, Jennie, sitting with her mate while eating ice cream

Lisa smiled at their cute interaction. Silently wishing that it was her who was sitting there with her mate doing those things. Lisa heard a chuckle on the back of her head.

What are you laughing at?

Come on, I heard your thought. It's cute that a pure-breed true alpha like you want to be such a sweetheart to my mate.

Correction, our mate. I am you, my thought is practically yours.

She could hear her wolf snicker at her. A chuckle left her lips as her gaze moved to the couple in the garden once again. Her gaze softens as she moves her hand to her chest.

She felt empty.

We will turn 22 next year Lisa, we will find our mate soon.

Lisa smiled and nodded her head as she jumped out of the window and shifted into a huge black wolf before running straight inside the forest.

Lalisa Manoban was born under the blood moon blessing 21 years ago and was confirmed to be the next pure-breed true alpha.

Lisa had always been special since she was a child. She thinks like a mature woman even when she is a child. She trains often and her strength surpasses everyone at such a young age.

She knew, that being a pure-breed true alpha meant that she was going to have such a huge responsibility and one of them was stopping the 'host' and killing them.

Since she was born, she had always been given such high expectations, from her parents, her pack, her people, everyone. She learned the hard way.

That emotion is not an option.

People tell her that emotions are a weakness. A pure-breed true alpha like her shall never show any weakness. Never. So she grew up hiding her feelings to herself.

Lisa is always fond of the idea of having a mate, she had to watch everyone find theirs. She believes that her mate can be her comfort zone. Her mate will be the one who listens and is there for her.

She wants to share her emotions with her other half. She wants to cherish them and love them. She can't wait to find her mate. She can't wait to hug them and to be hugged by them.

She would never question their rank. She knows that their rank doesn't define who they are, she and her wolf are ready to accept their mate just the way they are.

And she hopes that her mate will do the same.

Her wolf let out a howl as they kept on running around freely inside the forest. Her step halts when she reaches the end of the forest, only to be met with a cliff.

Lisa glanced at the sunset.

She says to herself as the sun starts to vanish with the moon greeting their sight soon after. Seeing the moon, The huge black wolf's eyes glow red as she at the moon.

"Mrs.Oh, I'll take my leave now." the young-looking male says with a smile. The old lady who heard that, stop him "Jungkook-ah, wait!"

Jungkook stops midway and turns to the old lady who rushes towards him. Upon reaching him the old lady pulled out an envelope and put it on Jungkook's palm.

Jungkook frowns "Mrs.Oh, what is this?" He asked in confusion because as far as he could remember, it was not the end of the month so it could not be his salary.

"It's a bonus for you, you have worked so hard Jungkook-ah, this is for you." The lady says as she smiles sweetly at him. Jungkook blink "o-oh..." He smiled and bowed at Mrs.Oh who chuckled and patted his back.

"Thank you, Mrs. Oh, I will work harder in the future!" Jungkook says as a sign of thank you to her "You are such a nice kid, I'm sorry that I can't give you much."

Jungkook shakes his head "Don't say that, thank you for taking me in to work for you. I can't find a way to return the favor." The lady pat his shoulder as she smiled fondly at him.

"Take care and have some rest if you want to return the favor. Okay?" The lady says as Jungkook nods and says "I will." With that being said Jungkook leaves not forgetting to wave at her.

Mrs.Oh watched as Jungkook left her sight. A sigh left her lips as she watched the male disappear from her sight. Her gaze held pity but she was glad that she could do such a little thing for him.

Jeon Jungkook, a 21-year-old male. If you ask anybody, Jungkook is a very nice guy. He helps everyone and always greets them with his bunny smile.

Those bunny smiles made everyone's day.

However, no one knows how broken the male is behind those bright bunny smiles. He... Have a rough childhood. A very rough childhood.

When Jungkook's little sister, Junghwa, was born, his mother cheated on his father with another male because the male was wealthy. She left him and his newborn sister with his father.

She never looked back.

As if they never existed in her life. His father, of course, became heartbroken. Instead of providing them with love, his father becomes an alcoholic.

He becomes abusive towards them, blaming them, saying that his wife left him because of them. Jungkook was 6 at that time and his father became abusive when he was 8.

Jungkook will always take the hit no matter what. Even as a small child he will always take most of the hit and protect Junghwa no matter what.

Junghwa would just cry when Jungkook came to feed her all bruised and injured but he never complained, he never cried in front of her, instead, he smiled and said "It's fine."

When Jungkook was 14 his father ran away from home and left them in a huge debt. Those people would come knocking and ask for money but when his father was gone, Jungkook took the responsibility to pay the debt.

The young boy starts working at such a young age. How unlucky he is when his sister has a very weak immune system making her often get sick.

Junghwa was always rushed to the hospital because of her weak immune system. He is always scared for her life so he wants her to make medical check up often.

But that also costs money.

With such a huge responsibility on his shoulders. Jungkook became depressed at such a young age. Working day and night with at least 5 or 6 workers.

Every insult that was thrown at him when he was working and those hits that he was getting when he couldn't pay the debt. It breaks him slowly.

Jungkook become empty

He wanted to end his life but he knew, that if he did that, Junghwa would be alone and she have no one else in this world. The only reason that Jungkook continues living today is for his little sister.

So he stopped high school and worked harder to pay for his sister's well-being. Pay for her school books and stuff.

He wanted to give her everything when he had nothing but a small old room.

He wants to make her stomach full even when he remains hungry.

He doesn't want to see any tears on her face but just a sweet beautiful smile

He wants her to grow up in a decent life even if he will look like a beggar.

He wants her to have everything even when the end, he will have nothing.

Jungkook opens the door to his apartment. "Junghwa-yah, I'm home!" Jungkook called out and a 15-year-old girl came out from her room "Oppa!"

She calls out and engulfs him with a hug "I stink, Junghwa-yah." Jungkook says as he lets out a chuckle. Junghwa shakes her head "No matter what you will always smell the best!"

Jungkook smiled at her cuteness before slowly hugging her back. Junghwa pulls away and looks at Jungkook in the eyes. "How is your day at school?"

Junghwa smiles "It's really fun! Nothing new actually but still, it's fun as usual." She shrugs as Jungkook lets out a soft laugh "For a child, you love studying."

"Of course! I will study hard and succeed in the future! Then I will help you and make sure that you are treated like a king!" She says with determination in her eyes.

Jungkook smiled at her "Yeah... You should do that." He whispers at her as he stares at his sister. Jungkook felt it was enough. He felt like it was enough.

The little ball of sunshine is his source of happiness. He wants to form a smile for her even if it is fake. He won't be greedy and ask for more but he wants this happiness to remain.

"Oppa, Jin oppa buy us some McDonalds on our way home! Let's eat?" Junghwa ask, seemingly excited to have some dinner with him.

Jungkook smiles and nods at her as Junghwa rushes to the kitchen to prepare for their meal. With that, Jungkook walks to his room to freshen up.

He glances out of the window and his gaze leans on the full moon. His heart felt empty but he didn't bother to ask what his heart desired.

He walked away and went to the bathroom to freshen up. To him, what he wishes doesn't matter. It will never matter and no one would even care

Right?
