"You're the last... and the cursed."

Jungkook slowly open his eyes. He frown and close his eyes once again upon seeing the blinding light. Soft groan left his lips upon feeling the headache. "He's awake!" Voices could be heard as someone suddenly stood beside him.

Jungkook slowly sit up as a hand help him. He blink for a few times before looking around. Everyone is there, including some elders and butlers. "What happened?" His voice is quite raspy as he pinch the bridge of his nose. His head throbbing and he groans

"Jungkook? Are you okay?"

What a lovely voice. He thought. He look at the person and when his gaze lend on the person in front of him, he was stunned as if he is in disbelief as he look at her, Lisa. She had a worried look on her face yet to him...

She's so beautiful.

Jungkook frown as he was confused with himself. What is this feelings? Odd. "Jungkook?" That is when he realised that she is holding his hand. Usually he would snatch his hand away immediately but this time he let it be, deep down liking the touch.

Lisa who are watching him not reacting become more worried. Everyone is confused as to why he seems like he is in a trance. "Let me check on him." Rose step forward as she bring up her palm to check on him but suddenly he speak.

"Don't."

Rose, as if on instinct, halt her actions immediately and stay frozen. Jungkook still looking at Lisa as he slowly look away "what happened?" He asked and Rose felt sweat dripping down her neck. Not just her but the entire room except for Lisa.

"T-he ancient temple collapsed and Lisa sense you're in danger so she went after you. We found you not so far from the collapse scene." Rose said as Jungkook close his eyes, trying to remember. He hold his head, feeling dizzy, Lisa saw it as she said.

"Whatever it was, let's talk about it later. Let's leave, he need rest." She said as everyone nod and immediately left. As people leave Jungkook suddenly caught something. A swift, just a swift of vanilla like smell, enough to caught his attention.

Jungkook snap his eyes eyes open. Lisa stood up when everyone had left, wanting to leave too, to give Jungkook some rest. Suddenly a hand grab her wrist and pull her causing her to got pulled and suddenly crashed on Jungkook's lap. Lisa was caught off guard, she can't predict it at all.

She froze at how close their face is to each other. Lisa was frozen in his lap as their gaze met. Meeting his eyes Lisa felt like it was different. Not that cold, emotionless gaze but rather... curious? And intrigued almost seductively. Jungkook unknowingly move closer to her.

Lisa suddenly felt all her Alpha Queen's training and defence disappeared. Her breath hitch when Jungkook suddenly inch to her neck and take a deep breath. So close that she can feel her body getting goosebumps from his hot breath. She can almost felt his lips on her skin.

Jungkook close his eyes, feeling weird on how good does the vanilla like scent coming from her. Odd. He's not a fan of vanilla smell but he just can't help it. Jungkook snap his eyes open as he suddenly let her go and look away.

"You may go, Alpha." He said sounding like a whisper. Lisa who are stunned by what happened slowly nod obediently, not like how she usually is but she stood up from his lap and left. As soon as she left the room and close the door behind her, she let out the air she don't know that she had been holding.

What the hell was that?

Lisa suddenly heard Akira's voice.

Where the hell are you when I need you in that kind of situation?!

Lisa said to her wolf almost scolding as she wipe the sweat on her forehead

I am right there! But I can't seem to react as well!

Lisa hold her chest, feeling her heart beating so fast as she walk away to her chamber. While Jungkook inside the chamber, stare at the door where she left. What is wrong with him? Why did he act like that? And why did he suddenly felt so touchy?

With all of those thoughts and weird things, Jungkook pinch the bridge of his nose and lay back on his bed.

"How is his condition?"

The superior elder ask as she sit with all of the head elders from all packs. The hall is huge with a young wolf went down on one knee in the middle of the hall "He's fine and well." The person say. "Keep watching." The superior elder said as the spy nod and left.

"Isn't it odd that the ancient temple suddenly collapsed? Something must have happened." One of the elders speak up. "I agree, the ancient temple is the temple of the first male luna, the current male luna was there when it collapsed. I don't think that it is a coincidence."

Murmurs could be heard in the hall as the superior elder thought for a moment before silencing everyone, "this is a sign from the moon goddess for us to fasten the ceremony and made it official." The superior elder said but an elder speak up "Is he even ready? He even refuse to be the male luna."

"Yes, will he able to pass the ceremony?" Another elder ask as soft murmur could be heard again. The superior elder scoff and hit the table making everyone silent "I don't care, by hook or by crook, he will pass."

"Even if we have to do it the hard way."

Lisa look at the moon as she stood at the balcony. She got a bad feeling and Akira felt it too. Thinking about what happened today, Jungkook, the rogues, the elders, the pack... Lisa sigh "what is going on?" She whisper.

Lisa touch her neck and her wolf knew exactly what is really bothering her.
