The couple walked back into the house — with the help of Beej's lock picking techniques — before they ran to his room. It was late and they didn't want to wake anyone. Upstairs Lydia lay in bed, staying up as she always did, classical music played. She had never felt more depressed. It had been three months since BJ and Allison were gone — and she didn't know when they would come back — not realize that they were now downstairs, getting together the materials to bring BJ back to life. After a few minutes, on the wooden floor in BJ's room was a circle of chalk with candles lit all around it. "Now, if this doesn't work babes," he stepped into the middle of the circle, "just know I love ya."

Allison furrowed her brows, "I know this'll work, it's in the handbook." She tried to reassure him — but it was more just to reassure her. "I love you too..." She gave him one last smile before she began to read the chant as best as she could from the page. Lightning and thunder began to strike which made Allison wince as she continued reading. BJ stayed in the same spot as he stared at Allison, never taking his eyes off of her. The other family members all began to get up and go downstairs. Lydia went to her father's arms in fright, "I didn't know a storm was coming in." Charles said as he held his daughter tightly. Adam and Barbara shared a worried look while Delia was standing next to Charles, "If the power goes out, I'm going to call that ghost and ask him to fix it." Delia said, referring to Beej.

Allison began to read the last line of the chant, "As above, so below — make this ghost glow with the light of life!" She finished reading and the book slammed shut — Beej was enshrouded in light and he began to float. Allison shielded her eyes as she held a hand to cover her eyes from the bright light. The house began to shake and the door opened, the family looking in shock at the sight of what was happening. "Look away!" Allison yelled and they did as she said. This continued on for five minutes until Beej suddenly fell onto the ground, he was facing away from them as he lay on the ground. Allison quickly crawled over to her husband and gently turned his head to look at her — it was a sight to behold. Beej's hair had gone from a greenish white color to a dark brown, his skin now missing the moss patches it once had which was replaced with a five o'clock shadow.

His eyes weren't sunken in anymore and there was color in his cheeks again. Allison smiled as she caressed his face — she hadn't noticed that Lydia walked over — she looked up at her younger sister, "Is that...?" Allison nodded at her words. Lydia kneeled down next to her and looked at the once demon now human laying in front of the two. "C'mon Beej wake up." She said quietly. She grabbed hold of his hand — the two sisters hoping he'd wake up. Allison leaned down and kissed his forehead — this caused BJ to begin convulsing before he opened his eyes and inhaled deeply. He sat up and looked down at his body, he couldn't help but start laughing. He looked over at the two sisters who were now grinning in awestruck. "My two favorite girls!" He exclaimed and hugged the two.

Allison enjoyed feeling the warmth of his skin against hers. He pulled away and focused on her fully, "Oh babes." He cupped her face and placed a soft kiss on her lips — he couldn't help but smile as he did, "I'm alive, we're alive again.." He hugged her again before getting up — the two sisters following along after him. Charles and Delia were both surprised by the now alive Beetlejuice — Adam and Barbara more happy to see that the couple was now together again. Beej was figuratively bouncing off the walls, he'd have to get used to having no powers anymore. Allison grabbed his hand, "Well, what do you wanna do now that you're alive?" Beej smirked at her, "Oh, I know what I wanna do." Lydia grimaced as she was in close vicinity of them, "Oh gross, I'm going to my room." The couple laughed at her words before going back to Beej's bedroom.

The couple lay in bed together — feeling refreshed as they were alive again. Beetlejuice smoked a cigarette that Allison had in her purse. She cuddled into his arms — she could hear his heartbeat. "Never would I have thought that I'd be human again," Beej said between inhales of his cigarette, "I missed being able to do things like this and actually taste it." He motioned to the cigarette. Allison looked up at him — looking like herself again, "I'm glad I was able to help you." Beej smiled at her, "Me too babes." They stayed in silence before Allison spoke, "Hey BJ?" He hummed. "Do you wanna keep going by Beej or something different?" He closed his eyes in thought before responding, "You know what, I've always liked the name Bruce." He winked.
