Walking through a cloud of thick fog — the couple soon appeared in the Neitherworld waiting room. "Aw! What the hell?!" Beej exclaimed — the waiting room was his own personal hell. Allison grabbed onto the demons hand tighter, she was horrified at what she was seeing. People dead sitting all around her — one of which was a man who had a shrunken head. He waved at her and she nodded — hesitant and with wide eyes — "Come on babes." Beej quickly walked to the exit sign which led to Saturn, the home of sand worms. Allison stopped Beej from walking out of the door as a sand worm was fast approaching. BJ's eyes popped right out of his head as he screamed before closing the door quickly.

"Ahem! You two!" An older woman's voice called making the couple look over. Beej shrunk in on himself — figuratively — Allison gulped. The woman walked over and looked between the two, "How'd you end up with her?" The woman questioned the ghost making Beej roll his eyes, "Mom! Not every woman thinks I'm repulsive or wants to kill me." Allison thought her eyes popped out of her skull from how wide she opened them. In fact, she didn't think she had been looking at the floor, "Oh baby." Beej mumbled before quickly pushing Allison's eyes back in their sockets. Allison tried to speak but she couldn't think of what to say, "That's... your mom?" The older woman nodded, "I'm Juno — this troublemakers mother. It seems like you two are in some serious shit."

The couple followed Juno through a checkered hallway which seemed to be going on forever — "Is she your actual mom?" Allison whispered to BJ and the demon shrugged, "She sure as shit didn't give birth to me but she took me in, so in some way, yeah she's my mom." He gagged at his own words. Juno smoked a cigarette — smoke billowing out from her mouth and slit neck. "This way!" She turned to the right abruptly and the two quickly followed. They soon reached her office. Juno sat down in her chair, "Sit you two, we have a lot to go over." The couple did as she said before she sighed. She took a puff of her cigarette, "Now, I know you two love that little girl but her plan of a contract to get you together went against the rules of the Neitherworld." The couple looked at each other with solemn looks. "She didn't mean anything by it." Beej defended and Juno held up a hand — quickly quieting him.

"Her contract that she made began to make Allison die slowly — and then your little 'Vegas wedding'," Juno put quotations around the words, "caused Allison to be stuck in some sort of purgatory with her own life. She is fast approaching death and the only way to fix it is to either make her fully dead... or you find a way to come back to life." She spoke directly to Beetlejuice as she said this — the demon was taken aback, "What? You're not pullin' my leg here, right?" Juno shook her head, "You two decide what you want to do." Allison looked at Beej and then at Juno, "But... how?" Juno didn't say anything — just disappearing in a cloud of smoke. The couple walked out of the room and Beej couldn't help but be anxious — he grabbed a beetle from the inside of his jacket and chewed on it, trying to distract himself.

Allison looked at him, "What should we do?" BJ shrugged, "I don't know, I don't want you to die and be stuck at the house — and I don't know how I'd feel about being alive again." Allison nodded as Beej continued, "Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be alive again but I don't know how we could do it." He ran a hand through his hair, "You know, maybe Lyds could help us! Yeah, she'd help us." Allison tried to reciprocate his excitement but just couldn't, "What's wrong babes?" Beej asked with quirked brows, "She was just so hurt by the thought of me being a ghost that I don't think she wants to speak anymore, at least not any time soon. I think we have to do this alone."

As the two walked back through the waiting room — the worker behind the counter whistled at them — "You two! Come here!" She ordered — she had a noose around her neck. The couple did as she said, the woman held out a book which Allison grabbed from her. "Juno said to use it." She explained and Allison nodded, "Thank you." The couple walked away and back through where they came from.

They walked back to the land of the living through a graveyard, it wasn't that far away from the house. Allison looked down at the book in her hands, "The Handbook for the Recently Deceased... do you think this'll have what we need?" Allison asked her husband to which he shrugged, "I could never get past the chapter index, reading was never my strong suit." Allison nodded at his words before flicking through the book, a chapter caught her eye, "Hey wait... what about this?" Beej stopped and looked at the book, "Chapter 34, Bringing the Dead back. This might help us with bringing you back!" Allison grinned at him and Beej couldn't help but smile back at her. He would be lying if he said he didn't want to be alive again.

He longed for the warm sun on his skin — to feel his heart beat — to feel the warmth of someone... of Allison. "Are you okay? Beej?" Allison brought him out of his thoughts. "Just fine and dandy babes. Let's bring me back to life." The two began to run back to the house again, "Do you think they'll be happy to see us?" Allison asked as they were approaching the house, Beej grinned, "They'll be ecstatic!" As he said this, lightning struck in the night sky. Allison laughed — she couldn't help but be nervous of what they were going to do. She'd never brought someone to life before, but there's always a first time for everything.
