Lydia was close to giving up when October came around — and she was so close to officially thinking her plan didn't work when it was Halloween — until she caught Beej and Allison cuddling on the couch in the living room. Moving as stealthily as she could, she listened in on the two's conversation. "You wanna know somethin' babes?" BJ asked Allison and she hummed in response, her eyes on the book she was reading — her free hand in Beej's hair, slightly scratching his scalp. "I don't know what I would've been doing with my life if you hadn't shown up here." His arms were wrapped around her waist. The two were matching, Beej wearing his striped suit as Allison wore a striped dress.

"Aw Beej.." Allison cooed at him as she closed her book and faced him. "Now that I'm here, I'm not going anywhere." She grinned at him before placing a kiss on his lips. Lydia couldn't help but yell in triumph, "Yes! My plan worked!" The couple looked at her in surprise. Lydia did a little happy dance before pulling out the folded up contract she had of the agreement. "What plan?" Allison asked and Lydia pointed at the agreement, "My plan to get you two together worked." She smiled before ripping the paper in half. "The agreement was all a ploy to get you two to finally confess to each other your feelings."

Allison blushed — which Beej could tell by the reddish pink aura around her. "The kids smarter than I thought." BJ joked making Lydia ball up the piece of paper and throw it at him, "Hey!" He exclaimed making the teen laugh. "What're you guys sitting around here for? It's time to celebrate! Delia's setting up a haunted house for today and she wants us — you especially Beej — to partake as the scarers." BJ jumped out of his seat in excitement and howled. "Scaring people? It's like Delia has some sense now! Yippee!" His head spun and Allison stopped it from spinning for too long, "Whew, thanks babes."

The three of them participated in the haunted house. Beej was dressed up as himself — getting a kick out of scaring little kids — Lydia and Allison were dressed up as ghosts. Lydia shrouded in black as she handed out candy as Allison scared the kids on their way out. Delia was dressed up as something, no one knew what it was — she described it as her inner self. Charles wore a Halloween sweater and was making a large Halloween feast inside with the help of Adam who wore a witch hat much to his chagrin. Barbara wore an old Halloween costume she had made, an angel costume that she only wore once when she was alive. Spooky music played as Lydia handed out handfuls of candy. "Trick or treat!" Kids yelled and Allison couldn't help but think about what it would be like to have children of her own.

Beej felt a disturbance in the playful atmosphere and could quickly tell that Allison felt upset — even if it was just a little bit. Quickly cloning himself, BJ popped up next to Allison. "What's up babes?" He asked as he wrapped an arm around her. She had contacts in which made her eyes look a beautiful blood red, "Beej? What're you doing over here? I don't want you to miss out on the fun." She motioned around to the haunted house and the children walking by. Beej looked taken aback, he faced her towards him, "Trust me, my clone is in my spot fillin' in for me — he's doin' a damn good job too." As if on cue, children's screams could be heard. "But-" Allison was stopped by a zipper across her mouth, she rolled her eyes. "Sugar plum..." The demon sighed as he embraced her, "I am more worried about you."

He continued, "If something's wrong with you — something's wrong with me — you make my heart beat babes, of course I'm gonna drop everything to check on you." He moved his coat to the side and his heart beat out of his chest making Allison smile — she unzipped her lips — "You're silly." Beej scoffed, "Me? Silly?" Allison hugged him tightly without responding. The demon placed a kiss on her head, "Now, can you tell me what's wrong? Please?" He began to whine like a puppy. Allison giggled, "Okay, okay... only if you take this zipper off my mouth." Beej put a hand to his ear, "What's the magic word?" Allison got as close as she could to his ear, she took a deep breath in, "Please!" She yelled right in his ear causing him to yelp.

"Jeez babes." He shuddered before waving away the zipper. Allison placed her hands on his chest, grabbing his lapels, "Thank you." She grinned at him making Beej grab her waist. "No need to thank me babes — you know you look hot with or without a zipper on your mouth." Allison raised her brows, "Oh?" She pulled him in for a kiss— the two trying their hardest to make the moment last. "What the...?" Lydia had went looking for BJ after she had realized he left a clone in his spot. The couple pulled away from each other and looked down, they were floating in the air. Beej floated down safely as Allison didn't know what to do. Lydia felt her eyes brimming with tears, "Are you...? Are you dead?" Allison floated down to the ground.

She went to grab Lydia by the arm to try and comfort her but the teen stepped away, "Are you dead? Tell me." Her jaw tightened. Allison looked at BJ and it was one of the only times where he didn't know what to say or do. "I-I don't know." Allison looked between her sister and husband — she felt her own eyes welling up. "Lyds, it's something that comes with being married to a dead guy." Beej motioned to himself — he walked up next to Allison and wrapped an arm around her, holding her close. Lydia couldn't help but be confused, "So are you dead Allison? And you weren't gonna tell me?" Allison looked down, "I didn't know how I would've told you." Lydia began letting the tears fall, "I feel like no one even tells me anything anymore." She ran inside the house.

Allison went to chase her before Beej stopped her, "Let the kid go, she just needs time." He reassured her — Allison sighed before looking at him, "You're right." The two hugged before suddenly the ground began to shake — the two looked behind them and a wall raised out of the ground before a door opened from the wall — the couple looked at each other as a green light shone from the mysterious place. "Do you know what this is?" Allison asked BJ to which he shrugged, "Probably, only one way to find out." He grabbed her hand before the two stepped past the threshold — the door closing behind them.
