✧0.5| Love Life & Burrow Invite

"I think you're being stupid is what I think." Evie snapped at Draco as the two walked out of the Great Hall together, a clear argument rising and causing the two to hurry away when people turned heads.

"I'm being stupid? You're being stupid." Draco argued with her as the two fell silent, letting Professor Sprout pass them quickly.

"It's non of your business what i'm doing, you don't have to know my every move, Draco." Evie spoke annoyed, over the boys constant nagging at where she's running off to between classes and after.

"You think you're smart, Evie, and you're not, i'm gonna find out what you're up to." Draco spoke to her, looking down in just the slightest, standing close to her as Evie glared.

"There's a reason only one of us was put into Ravenclaw, i'll let that determine who the smart one is." Evie spoke in a low voice as her bright eyes that were usually wide with curiosity turned into glaring, annoyed eyes.

"Evie." a new voice spoke up. Evie shut her eyes in annoyance once again as she looked down the hallway to find Harry staring at the two, "Is everything okay?"

"Fine." Evie spoke bitterly, her tone taking Harry off guard, distracting him from Dracos glares.

"I see." the Slythrin whistled, "Got yourself a new boyfriend, can't blame you for sneaking around instead of being public."

"Shove off." Evie said as she pushed Draco away from her and stormed off down the hallway. In no time she heard footsteps jogging after her, hurrying to catch up by her side.

"You okay?" Harry asked worried, never had he seen Evie seem so angry in his life.

"I'm fine." she snapped at him, stopping to stare at him with annoyance.

"I was just-" Harry began before she cut him off.

"You were what? Trying to come in and save me? I can handle myself perfectly fine, I don't need your help." She spoke annoyed, her words laced with anger and cruelty as he blinked behind his glasses. Harry went silent, only getting a annoyed look as Evie walked away, mumbling to herself in anger while her shoes clinked on the floor.

"Ronald, don't you make me angry right now." Evie said as she stood in the Room Of Requirements later that day, holding the youngest Weasley boy in the air with her wand.

"All i'm saying is you're being a real-" Ron began before Evie dropped him hard onto the floor, a groan leaving in mouth as he landed.

"Being a what?" Evie asked him annoyed, angrily dropping her wand to the ground and storming off.

"Maybe you should try talking to her." Hermione encouraged Harry, noticing how off and unlike herself Evie was today.

"I tried." Harry said with a look of fright, "She just yelled at me."

"Well, she's upset." Hermione spoke to him with a sigh, "Be gentle with her."

"How?" Harry asked his best friend, lost completely as to how he was suppose to comfort Evie, though he wanted to. Hermione just gave him a small smile before walking off to help Ron off the ground. Harry hesitated before taking small steps toward Evie who was hidden away in a dark corner, her back to everyone while taking unusually deep breaths.

"Erm, Evie?" Harry called out, gently, like Hermione said. Evie sighed as she turned to look at him, her face tense and red, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Evie spoke, falling silent for a moment as she looked down at her expensive shoes, "I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier."

Harry gave her a small nod, clearing his throat, "Is it Malfoy?"

"In a way." Evie admits with a nod of her head, "But it's nod just that, my grades are slipping and moms been sending me howlers every day because of it. I just feel overwhelmed between this and school, and Draco."

"What's his problem with you?" Harry asked as he stepped forward to stand close to her, knowing if they spoke loud enough nearly everyone would hear.

"It's complicated." Evie said as Harry frowned slightly at her words, wanting to know more but all she could seem to do was shrug him off.

"Are the two of you..." Harry trailed off, he hadn't wanted to say it, strictly out of pure jealous.

"His father isn't fond of me." Evie said with a shrug of her shoulders, biting the inside of her mouth horribly, "So no, not anymore."

Harry was silent, much like Evie was before she spoke again, "We just usually tells each other everything, he knows i'm hiding something."

"It's not any of his business what you do." Harry spoke, some what regretting his words but glad he spoke them, "You're your own person and you can do whatever you want without him knowing."

"You think so?" Evie asked with a faint smile.

"Yeah, completely." Harry nodded quickly, his glasses falling onto his nose slightly, "You're strong, and smart, and independent. You shouldn't let that down whenever he's around you."

"I know." Evie admits with a nod of her head, "I don't know why I do."

"And with the holiday coming you'll have the whole week to catch up on school work." Harry spoke as Evie cracked a smile, "Erm, are you going home?"

"Just for a few days, mom and dad don't like when we're all there at once. I stay the first two days, my sister does the next two, my brother does the other two, and then they get a day alone." Evie said with a shrug of her shoulders and a small sigh, "Maddy and Logan were in Slytherin like our parents were so... you can see why they like them a bit more."

"Your parents were Slytherin?" Harry asked her, though he didn't know much about Evie, he would have never thought her family was in Slytherin house.

"Oh yes, my whole family was in Slytherin, I was the first to get anything else." Evie spoke with a nod, "It's how Draco and I know each other, are families are very close."

"I just thought..." Harry trialed off, he didn't know what he thought, he was learning so many new things about her that he hadn't expected, "I don't know."

"I asked the Sorting Hat not to put me in Slytherin." Evie spoke to him with a nod, "I have nothing against the house, I quite like them, it just didn't feel like me."

"I did the same thing." Harry spoke with wide eyes and a nod of his head, "It's why I was put into Gryffindor."

"You would have done well in Slytherin." Evie spoke to Harry with a small smile, "But I do think Gryffindor fits you best, your birth chart points more toward Gryffindor anyways."

"You fit well in Ravenclaw, I think anyways." Harry went on with her words, redder then the Weasleys hair but hoped she hadn't noticed, "You're mind is..."

"Is what?" Evie questioned when he trailed off, a faint look of insecurity taking over her.

"Beautiful." Harry spoke, he stared at her with wide eyes, mesmerized by the smile that formed on her face. Evie opened her mouth to say something before the room fell silent, making the two look over and see as though Neville had finally mastered the art of dewanding someone.

"Holy Merlin, he did it." Evie said in shock as she hit Harry's shoulder, "My manifesting worked! Great job, Neville!"

"Thanks, Evie." Neville smiled as the two walked toward him much like everyone else was doing.

"So, thats it for this lesson. Now, we're not going to be meeting again until after the holidays. So just keep practicing on your own the best you can, and- and well done everyone! Great, great work!" Harry spoke to the group as they all clapped for him, smiles across each of their faces before separating apart. Evie began wishing Cho and Luna a happy christmas, heading to leave the room before she was cut off.

"Evie!" Ron called out, standing alongside Harry and Hermione, "You're invited."

"Invited where?" Evie asked with a frown of her eyebrows, hoisting her bag better on her shoulder.

"To the burrow for christmas." Ron spoke to her with a small smile, "Just don't drop me again."

"You don't have to do that, i'm okay here." Evie said, feeling guilty as she looked at Harry with a knowing look, only having him beam back at her.

"Mom misses you anyways." Ron says, hearing all about the Ravenclaw girl from his mother through out the summer after Evie won her over with rambling about Molly's birth chart and astrology signs, "It'll be fun."

"Merlin, just come, we'll all be there." Hermione said as she grabbed Evies elbow with a smile, partly wanting Evie to come for her sake and because it would give Harry a perfect chance to spend more time with the girl.

"Okay, great." Evie smiled as the three beamed at her, "See you soon."

"Bye, Evie." Harry said awkwardly with a flushed face, getting patted on the back by Ron.
