Harry, Hogwarts, my friends. Harry, Hogwarts, my friends. Harry, Hogwarts, my friends.
The only three things that kept Evie alive the past few months. After her father had forced her to leave Hogwarts, she was taken back to Malfoy Manor where Ambrose was let go and no longer a victim of torture. Evie was forced to speak to Voldemort face to face, tell him everything she knew. Evie had lied the best she could, making up lies about Harry and leaving out anything she truly thought he could use against him.
She didn't say much anymore, she couldn't remember the last time she smiled. Draco left hogwarts a few hours after Evie, becoming in shock at seeing her. While he knew she knew about things due to Ambrose and her father, Draco had no clue Evie was also a death eater. Things uplifted a bit for her after that, at least she had someone now. Evie pushed her anger aside when Draco showed up, she acted as if nothing bad had happened between the pair. Evie and Draco stayed close most of the time, rarely leaving the others. They were the only ones that truly know what the other way going through.
Evie sat between her brother and ex boyfriend, keeping her eyes down and away from the woman floating in the air above them, faint sobs and begs leaving her lips. The table was silent, Evie held her breath most of the time, scared her breathing might be too loud. Malfoy Manor doors opening made her glance in the direction with only her eyes. The voice of the evil wizard at the end of the table rung, "Severus. I was beginning to worry you lost your way. Come. I've saved you a seat."
Snape walked in and took the empty seat. Draco and Evie shared a look in the corner of their eyes, Evie gave a small shake while his eyes glanced toward the body hanging above them.
"You bring news, I trust." Voldemort spoke to Snape.
"It will happen saturday next, at nightfall." Snape spoke. Evie squeezed her eyes shut at his words, her hand forming a fist in her lap.
"I've heard different, my Lord." the man sitting across from Evie spoke up, "Dawlish, the Auror, has let slip that the Potter boy will not be moved until the thirtieth this month. The day before he turns seventeen."
Ambrose slipped his hand into Evies when he took notice of his sisters state, her hands shaky and lip between her teeth to hold back a cry.
"This is false trail." Snape snapped at the man quickly, "The Auror Office no longer plays part in the protection of Harry Potter. Those closest to him believe we have infiltrated the ministry."
"Well," the same man laughed, "You got that right."
Evie looked at her father, seeing as though he was staring at the man besides him in pure anger. Evies dad worshiping and respected Voldemort worse then anyone else in the room, without any doubt, he loved him more then he did his family.
"What say you, Pius?" the Dark Lord asked the man at the end of the table with curious eyes.
"One hears many things, my lord. Whether the trust is among them is not clear." Pius answered, his eyes casted down and words being spoken in a much lower voice.
Voldemort laughed suddenly, having Evie jump. Draco did the same from next to her, "Spoken like a true politician. You will, I think, prove most useful, Pius."
"Where will he be taking the boy?" Voldemort asked Snape. Evie watched and listened intently, almost begging Snape with her gaze to lie. Harry Potter, her boyfriend of nearly a year, the love of her life, the one she'd kill herself and everyone else for, could be killed soon. And she couldn't do anything about it.
"To a safe house." Snape answered with a single nod of his head, "Most likely the home of someone in the Order. I'm told it's under every matter of protection. Once there, it will be impractical to attack him."
Evie wanted to sigh in relief.
Bellatrix shook in excitement, "My lord! I'd like to volunteer myself this task. I want to kill the boy."
Evie glanced at Draco, his auntie saying such a thing. Draco looked at Evie, only having her look away with a final nasty glare.
A shriek flew through the air.
"Wormtail!" Voldemort hollered out toward the mousy man who was ridiculously jumpy, "Have I not spoken to you about keeping our guest quiet?"
"Yes, M-My Lord. Right away, my lord." he spoke quickly and with fear, his small figure hurried off. Evie looked to Ambrose. Evie knew of Peter, she knew he was responsible for the loss of Harry's parents which caused a sense of anger to form within her. She hadn't been able to feel bad for him because of it either. Ambrose on the other hand did, he'd told Evie when he had the chance to actually speak to her.
"As inspiring as I find your bloodlust, Bellatrix.. I must be the one to kill Harry Potter." his words made Evie screw her eyes shut again, hoping no one paid close enough attention to her. From what everyone in the room know, Evie had only used Harry for the sake of Voldemort. She'd gained their respect by doing so, her lies only making everyone in the room believe they were true. Ambrose knew how much his sister loved the Potter boy, Draco did as well but never would admit it, "But, I face some unfortunate complications. That my wand and Potters share the same core. They are, in some way, twins."
Voldemort began circling the table, Evie swore she thought her father would cream his pants the second Lord Voldemort laid his hand upon his shoulder before doing the same to her mother before coming around to the other side of the table, "We can wound but not fatally harm one another. If I am to kill him, I must do it with another wand."
Evie almost offered her own wand, knowing she put a curse on it just a few days ago for it to not be able to allow any deadly hex's unless under her hold. She knew it was too risky, too sudden and obvious. Voldemort touched Ambrose, Evie, then Draco before stopped before Lucious Malfoy, "Humm? What about you, Lucious?"
Evie didnt make any sudden movements, but she could see the Malfoy man give a slight shiver as his bloodshot eyes looked up at him, "I-I"
Voldemort mocked Lucious, "I require your wand."
Evie grasped Dracos hand quickly when she saw his shoulders shake in the slightest, the dark lord being so close to them.
"Do I detect elm?" Voldemort asked as he held the wand in his hand, scanning it with his beaty eyes.
"Yes, my Lord." Lucious said back hesitantly.
"And the core?"
"Dragons heartstring."
"Dragons heartstring." Voldemort repeated as he ran a long, milky white finger down the wand before tossing the holder onto the table. Evie jumped, as did the two boys by her side, "To those of you who do not know, we are joined tonight by Charity Burbage who, until recently, taught at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry."
Evie recognized the woman but tried not to look at her, eyes casted down in her lap as she held both Draco and Ambroses hand.
"Her specialty was Muggle Studies." Voldemort spoke as the table began to laugh at his words, mocking the sobbing woman who floated in the air, "It is Miss Burbages belief that muggles are not so different then us. She would, given her way, have us mate with them."
Harry was basically muggle born, raised in the muggle world up until his eleventh birthday. Evie could imagine that even if he'd stayed a muggle and didn't attend Hogwarts, she'd still love him enough to produce children one day if she was healthy enough to do so and he was willing.
"To her, the mixture of magical and muggle blood is not a abomination. But something to be encouraged." Voldemort went on as he took his seat back in his chair.
"S-Severus." Charity begged as she looked at Snape, face blood shot from being tortured and now having the blood rush to her face, "Severus, please. We're friends."
Evie looked down quickly as the words rung, "Avada Kedavra!"
"Nagini, dinner."
