COBRA KAI | FEEL THE NIGHT /
DECEMBER 19
season three, episode nine / ten

RIGHT NOW〕
━━ one direction

❝you know i can't fight the
feeling and every night i feel it❝

❝CHARLIE, I'M GONNA go blind here in a second," Willow complained as the younger boy started decorating the apartment with her, putting LED christmas lights everywhere possible.

A really long time passed ever since it was Willow's birthday, but nothing changed at all. Cobra's were still the biggests assholes in the Valley, Eli was still a part of it, Willow was trying her best to ignore him, but he seemed to find every excuse possible to be around her, Blair was going on dates with Moon very often and Miguel was spending lots of time with Sam, fixing the mistakes from the past. Everything looked the same, but somehow.

And when Willow woke up some day, and realized that it was almost Christmas, she felt both shocked and disoriented. So much time passed, and yet her feelings still stayed in the same place, and on the same person. But this time, she actually started bringing herself to finally move on.

Falling in love with the right person at the wrong time felt terrible, because she kept wondering what it would look like if Eli Moskowitz, and everything would be different. What would it look like if Cobra Kai would never come back.

And, unfortunately, she never got the clear answer for all the questions.

With that, she decided to lighten up the atmosphere, so after some seconds she put on her Christmas playlist, this time All I Want For Christmas being the first song echoing in the room, and making Charlie gasp in excitement. Both siblings knew the lyrics with their whole hearts.

"Do you think dad will spend Christmas with us?" the boy questioned, his face plastering with hope. Seeing that, Willow's tongue ran across her teeth, and then she shrugged.

She really wanted to give her brother a more clear answer, but she couldn't. Sean Froud was still someone she couldn't read at all even after all the attempts.

"Let's not talk about dad. It's our favorite part of the day, right?" she changed the subject, faking a wide smile on her lips as she rolled up the sleeves of her sweater. Well, Eli's old sweater, which she hesitated to wear at first, but then finally brought herself to, realizing how much of a vibe it was giving.

And it was not like she did that just to remind herself of the Moskowitz boy, right?

               Nah, of course it wasn't.

"Ugh, I still can't believe you're not taking me to your bros' Christmas party. It's like skipping the best time of my life!" the boy exclaimed indignantly, and then accidentally threw a bauble off the Christmas tree. As it shattered into pieces, an amused look appeared on his face, while his sister blinked, trying to process what just happened.

After that, she groaned in displeasure. "Seriously, Who do I have to separate you from this time? Miguel? Blair?" she questioned, her eyebrows lifting up in suspicion as she crouched down and started collecting the pieces of the shattered bauble into her hands.

"Can I repeat that? Can I repeat that?" he ignored her question and jumped in excitement, the girl snatching another bauble out of his hands at the last moment. He scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Fun destroyer," he commented, making her grimace.

Was it that strange that she still could remember the moment when Eli called her the same thing?

"I take my words back. You can go take care of the lights,"

               "That's so unfair!"

━━ ⋆。‧˚ʚ 🩰 ɞ˚‧。⋆ ━━

SOME HOURS PASSED, and just then Willow finally found herself in Blair's car, the other Eagles already being with them, having hesitated faces as they were listening to the two girls singing all the songs that played on the radio. They had real luck that it didn't take a lot of time for them to finally park in front of the house that the violet-haired girl recognized straight away. With that, she turned her head to Blair with a questionable look, her only chuckling nervously before gesturing for Miguel to do something.

But instead of explaining anything, he cleared his throat and completely changed the topic, "Let's go inside, guys."

Mitch chuckled loudly, "Yo, this party's gonna crush!"

Willow narrowed her green eyes, but in the end got out of the car and followed after her friends, trying to understand what she was just getting herself into. While Mitch, Miguel and Bert were already standing in front of the entrance door, she pulled Blair a little backwards, slowing their footsteps and as a result confusing the girl.

"What's all this?" she asked, nodding slightly towards the house. The smile immediately fell from Blair's lips as she tried not to be read. It obviously didn't work, because Willow's suspicion face was still there, her eyebrows raised. "Come on, B. It's not like I'll kick your ass after hearing your idea out," she announced, and the Johnson girl sighed, then rolled her eyes slightly.

"Miyagi-Do's and Eagle's have to work together. That's all I know,"

Hearing that, the violet-haired girl nodded her head, understanding everything immediately. After all, she could've expected that — the rivalry between the dojo's had been really exhausting these days. She just couldn't understand, why Miguel and Blair would exclude her from their plan.

"Okay, I'm in," she responded and then stood next to the three boys, exhaling as she pressed on the doorbell and listened to the happy comments that Mitch made, being completely unaware of the whole situation. She heard footsteps inside, so she took a step back, her foot tapping on the ground in a growing nervousness.

But when Samantha LaRusso turned out to be the one opening the door for them, she breathed in relief, a kind smile appearing on her lips.

"Hi, Sam." she spoke, hugging the girl before walking inside along with the others, her gaze finding the Miyagi-Do's straight away. She put on an awkward grin as she gave Demetri a small wave, seeing his disorientation. "Uhm, hi, guys?"

And when the Miyagi-Do's glanced over at them all shocked and unpleased, she felt even stranger. She watched as they exclaimed something, then quickly stood up and stood in front of them.

"Oh, hell nah! You gotta be kidding me," said Chris, sending a murderous gaze towards Mitch, who blinked. A quiet snort escaped Willow's lips, but she got shushed by Blair, who elbowed her. With that, she rolled her eyes and positioned the red-green ribbon in her hair before focusing back at the people around.

Mitch, still disorientated, sent a look of betrayal towards her. Seeing her reaction, he glared away angrily, "This isn't a cake party. I bought this hat for nothing?" he pulled the green hat from his hair, throwing it to the ground.

               "Calm down, Assface."

"You parent trapped us?" Demetri barged in, looking between everyone in confusion. "Why?"

Blair rushed with a reply, "Because being assholes to each other makes us even bigger assholes than —"

Miguel interrupted her, "Uh, I think they get it, BJ." he forced a grateful smile, which she answered to with a small wave off.

"Look, I know we haven't always gotten along, but Cobra Kai is the bigger threat now to all of us," Sam declared, the both girls and Miguel giving her a nod of agreement.

"I think we take a better chance against him if we join forces. Two dojos are stronger than one," Miguel stated, making the people around start whispering.

Willow groaned in displeasure, while she listened to every word the others said. It wasn't that easy, "Guys, holding lots of grudges against each other will never end well, okay? I know that from experience, and I get that you're still mad, but remember that all of us made shitty things. Without any exception. But the most important thing is to —"

Her speech was cut off by Chris. "Yeah, like breaking Demetri's arm." he stated angrily, and the girl remained quiet, grimacing at the memory. When the other Miyagi-Do's started agreeing, she felt that they weren't moving any forward.

"You started that fight!" Mitch shouted back.

Chris took a step towards him, "I almost got fired!"

"God, I hate your stupid face so much," Bert suddenly joined the conversation, obviously turning to Nate. Willow's head snapped towards them, and she put an arm on the boy's shoulder to stop him from doing something stupid.

"If you died, I wouldn't even attend your funeral," Nate shot back, and a loud sigh escaped Blair's lips.

"Hey, you both stop right now. We aren't in kindergarten anymore, so, please, stop acting like that." Willow warned the two boys, standing between the two to stop them from fighting each other. They listened to her, and stepped backwards, murdering each other with their eyes.

"This feels like hell," Blair muttered to Sam, who grimaced.

"This isn't gonna work," Miguel said, agreeing with the dark blonde.

               "It has to."

━━ ⋆。‧˚ʚ 🩰 ɞ˚‧。⋆ ━━

❝I DON'T KNOW, how to say this any plainer. Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do have to work together," Sam explained clearly. Willow grimaced a little as she sat on the couch with the others, and her head leaned against Blair's shoulder.

"Even if we wanted to team up, it'd never work," Chris answered, the both girls' heads snapping to him, their faces washed over with disorientation. "I was in Cobra Kai. Their style mixes with ours like . . ."

He got interrupted by Nate, "Oil and vinegar?"

Chris shook his head, "No, not salad dressing. I would say, like, the British Bulldogs and the Hart Foundation," he corrected.

Willow watched as Mitch positioned himself to look at the boy, "They were friends, dipshit." he pointed out. The violet-haired girl scoffed. There they were again.

"Not at WrestleMania 3, Penis Breath."

"Okay, you can't call me Penis Breath. Only they can call me Penis Breath," he pointed between the Cobra Kai's, Willow and Blair blinking in confusion.

Chris frowned, "Why are you okay with anyone calling you Penis Breath?"

Mitch shook his head in anger, "You know what? Screw this. Come on let's go," with that, he stood up, Bert joining him.

Willow grunted unhappily and grabbed the smaller boy's hand, stopping him.

And obviously the last thing she expected was to hear Demetri Alexopoulos.

"Hey, pussies!" he shouted, standing up quickly. Blake looked at the violet-haired girl, their eyes widening in shock. They watched as the two boys stopped immediately. "This is what those assholes from Cobra Kai want. Since you were one of them, you're an asshole. So are you," he pointed to Mitch and then to Chris, who disagreed.

               "I ain't no asshole."

Demetri ignored him, "So was Frills or Blair. Well, they still kinda are," he muttered the lady sentence underneath his breath, the both girls looking at him indignantly.

               "Uh, excuse me?"

He waved Blair off, "So was I!" he added quickly. "Well, at least I wanted to be one. But now Cobra Kai is the worst collection of assholes in the Valley, run by the king of all assholes,"

               "Go on, Metri."

He nodded his head, "So if by merging with Eagle Fang, weird name by the way, can keep us all from getting shit on anymore, then we'd all be assholes not to do it."

Willow smiled proudly at her best friend, while Blair had an amused face.

"We get it with the assholes, Meat,"

Demetri turned to her, nodding. "Uh, I'm sorry. I usually take pride in my grandiloquence, but . . . it's an emotional time."

After his announcement, they all sighed in relief as they watched Bert and Mitch sit on the couch again. Maybe it wasn't going to be that bad.

               "Now, where do we start?"

━━ ⋆。‧˚ʚ 🩰 ɞ˚‧。⋆ ━━

WILLOW WASN'T REALLY sure how she ended up sitting with the others by the table, watching as Demetri had some papers in his hands, explaining something to them. Her chin leaned against her palm as she tried to focus on him, and not get lost in her mind from the boredom.

"We're all in agreement that our new combined dojo should train at Miyagi-Do, but dead-locked on a new name, Gi Design, Post-Training Snacks, and Sensei Dispute Resolution Protocol," the Alexopoulos started mentioning the things from his list, and the violet-haired girl's eyes narrowed, not understanding the half of the things. "Okay, not good, but still, it's a start."

"Good, now, can I finally put my Christmas playlist on?" Willow questioned, earning a look of agreement from the others.

She went to grab her phone, but was stopped by the sound of the cat meowing somewhere nearby. Her eyebrows furrowed and she glared at Sam in confusion, not remembering her having a cat.

"Aw, I think your cat wants to come in. Here, kitty, kitty." Bert, who was an admirer of animals, stood up and opened the doors, then walked outside.

The others kept being disorientated, "I didn't know you had a cat," Miguel turned to Sam.

               She blinked, "We don't,"

Blair and Willow shared a hesitant look before their attention was taken by Bert, who suddenly flew through the window. A gasp left the Froud girl's lips as she quickly stood up and crouched down next to the boy, checking up on him.

"Hey, are you okay? Come on, I'll help you up," she grimaced at the image of glass being everywhere around and Bert's face being covered with blood. She wrapped her arms around him, carefully lifting him up.

               "Bert, what happened?"

               "No cat," he grunted.

And that was the moment when Willow heard the door slam, so she turned around and her face dropped immediately. She felt her whole body freeze in its tracks, while she watched Eli and the other Cobra's walk inside.

The two's eyes locked for a moment, the memory from their another argument that was on Willow's birthday appearing in front of the girl's eyes. She swallowed hard, and bit her cheek, her breath getting more complicated as she looked away and got pulled backwards by Miguel.

"It's payback time, 'Rhea." Kyler smirked, walking towards them with the other Cobra's. As soon as his attention flew to Willow, his fists clenched. "You too, Dimple. Let's go," he chuckled and she took another step back, feeling anxiousness hitting her body again.

Her emerald green eyes rushed with hurt to the Moskowitz boy, who scanned her up and down, and his breath seemed to stop momentally as he saw the sweater she was wearing. She followed his gaze, and her nails dug into her skin more, already having the same sentence from the past stuck in her mind.

I can't believe you stopped so low.

She shook her head in disbelief and stopped, her head snapping to the back as the back door opened with a loud bang. When she found Tory Nichols and another Cobra Kai's walking towards them, she was stuck between feeling angry and scared.

She could still remember every single bruise and wound existing on her body, which caused the trauma to suddenly hit her again.

"Heard you were throwing a party. Hope you don't mind if we crash," Tory spoke, her eyes wandering between her old friends, who looked at her with an unrecognizable expression.

"Tory, you don't have to do this,"

"It's too late. This ends tonight," she announced, and took another step forward. "No mercy!" she screamed loudly, and that was when everything started.

Willow watched carefully as the Cobra's started running at them, so she finally brought herself into a fighting position. It didn't take much time for someone to finally aim at her. She felt tired of it; tired of fighting, tired of everything.

━━ ⋆。‧˚ʚ 🩰 ɞ˚‧。⋆ ━━

A SCREAM OF PAIN escaped Willow's pink lips as she landed on the ground, her skin connecting with the shards of the glass already being there. She grimaced, but forced herself to stand up and ignore everything she felt in that moment. She looked around and saw everyone fighting with each other as if they were really in some war. She shook her head, taking a deep breath before her gaze found Blair, handling the situation perfectly as she spun around with Miguel's help and kicked the two boys out of their way.

With that, she gave her a small nod of appreciation before rushing forward and then  colliding her fist hard with some boy's face, making him grunt and then run away from her as if she didn't even exist. She snorted and pushed forward, wincing as her gaze fell on Hawk, who was now fighting some smaller boy, and of course winning.

"Come right at me, pussy!" he shouted, the younger boy pushing his fists towards him, but him dodging the hit and breaking a vase on his head. "Yeah, eat that shit! Get up!"

When he fell to the ground unconsciously, it was an enough reason for Willow to barge in. So that was the trying his hardest he told her about, huh?

               She couldn't take it anymore.

She clenched her fists with all of her strength and after seeing the Moskowitz boy throwing the same boy to the ground again, she rushed towards him, her leg then colliding with his back, sending him stumbling forward.

He grunted a little, getting into a fighting position before turning around, the smirk immediately falling from his lips. She saw his face turning serious, so she snorted with hatred, shaking her head.

"You're right, I do not understand you and I never will." she admitted and her fists flew towards him, him grabbing them immediately, and immobilizing her with that.

"Loo, stop. I'm not going to fight you."

Her jaw clenched in anger, and she used her leg to push him away from her. "Oh, yeah? Really fucking convincing, Hawk. Just as much as every word you've ever said to me,"

He frowned, confused. "What the hell is your problem?"

She didn't answer him. Instead, her hand collided with his face, causing his head to jerk sideways. His eyes widened as he touched the painful cheek where she had just slapped him, and then he looked at her again, seeing nothing but anger, disappointment, and sadness on her face.

"I told you that I'm not going to fight you. What can you not understand?" he shot back and clenched his jaw as the girl didn't stop her actions.

She was sending punches and kicks his way, trying to finally let the anger get out of her, and Hawk, as he said, did nothing else than just dodge or block them. A groan of irritation left his lips as he momentally closed his eyes before putting his hands on the girl's shoulder, then pushing her towards the closest wall.

A grunt escaped her lips as her body hit it, and she felt even more irritated as he took steps toward her, grabbing her wrist and pinning her against the wall. He closed the distance between them, their chests heaving from lots of emotions that the whole situation caused.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I didn't lie, huh?" he questioned, his voice sharp. She tried to get out of his grip, but he didn't let that happen as his hands tightened around her wrists, pinning them on both sides of her head. A short breath left her lips. "Why can't you finally believe something I say?" he added, making her scoff with irritation.

"Because I don't trust you anymore!"

Her sudden shout made them both remain silent, just starting into each other's eyes. She could see a grimace appear on Eli's lips, and his hands loosening the touch on her wrist. With that, she finally managed to push him away from her, then send a kick to his chest and sweep his legs from under him. Even after she saw him hitting the ground, a grunt escaping his lips, she didn't feel any satisfied.

She couldn't believe how they got there.

She shook her head and stepped away from him, then looked around and her eyes widened at the image of her best friend being thrown to the ground by Rickenberger, who then turned to Bert, doing the same thing to him.

"No!" she shouted loudly, running towards Doug and grabbing his neck from behind, then pushing him on the kitchen counter. She groaned in pain as her hands made contact with the glass once again, but didn't care at all as she crouched down between Blair and Bert, who were failing to stand up. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't leave you alone. I thought —" she started, but the Johnson girl shook her head slightly.

"No, it's fine. It's not your fault. Just — watch out!" she warned, but it was a little too late as Willow felt herself being grabbed by someone.

She struggled until Kyler finally let go of her and started aiming his fists at her, which she could hardly block with her injured hands.

"Told you it's payback time, bitch!" he exclaimed angrily and lifted his leg up, using her no focus to kick her in the side.

She felt a lot of pain, but didn't stop herself from getting revenge on him by sending several punches at him. He blocked it eventually, and then got a hold of her to push her hard to the same kitchen counter where Doug landed earlier, a smirk plastering his lips. He started taking steps for her, so she started thinking real quick and with that, she grabbed the kitchen board in her hands, then when he went to attack her once again, she hit him on the head with it.

"That's for attacking my friends," she muttered and couldn't stop herself from kicking him in the stomach as he laid on the ground. "And that's for ruining my life," she added, repeating the same move before going to walk away.

She didn't take many steps away, though, because he grabbed her ankle with the rest of his strength and made her fall to the ground close to him. The next thing that happened was him hovering over her and sending punches to her face, her not managing to block many of them.

Her breathing became labored as she tried her best to get him away from her. She lifted her leg up, but at the moment she tried to use it to kick him, Blair grabbed him from behind and yanked away.

Meanwhile, Hawk watched everyone fighting, feeling numb. His breath fastened as he stared at his old friends getting beaten up, his thoughts this time winning with him.

               "I don't recognize you anymore" — Willow.

"I told you, only the strong will survive" — Kreese.

"Kreese got into your head" — Miguel.

"And the person standing in front of me right now is also not the person I fell in love with" — Willow.

"When you came into my dojo, you were softer than a baby's ass" — Johnny.

"Because I don't trust you anymore!" — Willow.

"Never underestimate your enemy" — Kreese.

"You don't even know me anymore" — Willow.

"I need the real Eli Moskowitz. Not Hawk" — Willow.

"I made you what you are. Not Kreese! He doesn't give a shit about you" — Johnny.

"With every step back you make, you're losing me more and more, Eli. You know that?" — Willow.

"The enemy of your enemy is your friend" — Kreese.

"Unlike someone, he knows how to listen to someone's words and not ignore them" — Blair.

"You're right, I do not understand and I never will" — Willow.

And that was the moment when he realized. It was enough.
