HER HOOD WAS PULLED UP OVER HER HEAD, THE DARKNESS ENVELOPING THE NIGHT COVERING THE RUNNING WOMEN. The young girl in her arms, opened her mouth to speak but she quickly put her hand over her mouth lightly. "Amelia, you need to be quiet baby." She whispered lightly.
"Mama, where are we going?" The young girl spoke, her bottom lip poking out and her eyes showing confusion. Avery Conners sighed, before pressing her lips against the little girls forehead.
"Your going somewhere safe," She spoke, and Amelia looked up at her with wide eyes before her bottom lip started trembling. "Don't start crying baby, everything's going to be alright. I promise." She spoke, as the tides nearby hit off the edge of the sand.
"Mama, where are you going?" She questioned, and Avery sighed ▬ she didn't want to worry her little girl with the fact that she had a hit placed on her by the grand master, along with her husband.
"Don't worry baby, everything's going to be alright." She spoke, putting her finger against the scanner for MI9 headquarters, before pushing in. "Get me the head. now!" She snapped, irritably to the agent that was out front and he nodded.
"Mrs Conner, it's good to see you again." The head of MI9 speaks, as she notices the young girl that was hiding behind the female. "Did you manage to persuade your husband to turn?" She questioned.
"Can we talk about this in a more private setting?" Avery questioned, and the women nodded before showing her towards her office. "The Grandmaster knows I'm an MI9 agent ▬ infiltrating SKUL, he's put a hit out on me and Arthur." She explained as soon as she was inside her office.
"Listen to me, nothing is going to happen to you." She spoke, before leaning down to her size. "Who's this little darling?" She speaks, and Amelia burrows her head into her mums leg.
"Amelia, her names Amelia." She spoke, softly ruffling the brown haired girls curls. "Look, I need you to hide her from the grandmaster, please. She needs to be safe."
"Avery." She spoke standing up, "Are you sure this is the right thing to do, she will be heartbroken."
"Heartbroken, is better than dead!" She hissed lowly, as her daughter pulled on her hand. "Amelia, enough. This is for your safety." She says, leaning down to her daughters size and pushing a brown hair away from her face.
"Everything's going to be alright, I swear. I love you alright," She spoke softly and Amelia nodded, before biting on her finger. "Hey, what have I told you about doing that?" She grounded lightly, and Amelia looked down.
"Not to do it." She says, and her mum gave her a small smile before Amelia brought up the next question. "Where are you going mummy, why do I have to stay here?" She questioned, tightening her little fingers around her hands.
"We just need to be parted for a little while, and then when everything is settled down. We can be a family again, now I need you to go with this nice women. She will take you too a special place where you can learn to be just like your mum." She spoke, pushing a brown hair behind her face and smiled at the young girl.
"Alright, mummy. I love you." Amelia says, and Avery sighs before pressing her lips against her forehead.
"I love you too, sweetheart. Now go." She whispered, pushing her towards the lady.
