"Take my life, dear Arkae. I have failed to find that woman." A soldier kneeled on the ground.
Following him, the rest of the fifty thousand wolves kneeled, chanting the same. They were ashamed that they could not provide what their master wanted. What Taehyung could never agree on was a failure. He would never give up, but oh surely might be on the ones who have failed. Taehyung threw his sword as he left the training arena. His steps were fast as he paced to his quarters.
He was beyond angry, no doubt. If a subject can't do something, it shows that the ruler is incapable. "Prepare the horses. We leave for the border in a few hours," he yelled as he entered his palace gardens. Na- Ra was seated by a small fish pond as she stared at it. Her thick, lengthy locks lay on the ground as her fingers moved leisurely under the rushing water.
Hearing Taehyung scream, she flinched as she looked at him coming near. He pulled her to stand as his hands reached for the ribbon that was tied to her hanbok. "Tae," she called softly and tried to hold his hands.
"Tae, stop!" she screamed as she pushed herself a few steps back when Tae raised his hands. They stood frozen as she realized he was about to hit her. Tae crumbled his fist as he looked down.
"Tae, please don't show your frustrations to me. We were up all night until you got tired. Tae, can you please understand that I need some rest?" Na-Ra asked ever so patiently as she came near him. All that was audible was the sound of the sparkling water flowing through the canals. Not even their hearts that beat together once. Na-ra brought her hands around to embrace him, but it lasted for a still moment before Tae pushed her and walked away, muttering, "No, you don't understand me"
"Let's go!" she heard him order as she fell to the ground with a heart ever so corrupted. How can he ever let go of their love?
Their problems might be similar, but not their ways of response. It is human nature to react uniquely. Yun-Hee, who was running far in the wild, now luckily or unluckily met him to meet her longed desires.
Yun-Hee's eyes were flooded with tears. She wasn't in the state to see or think properly. Maybe it was written that she just had to hit him, the great Arkae.
Rin neighed as Yun-Hee slowed down and held her stand. Breathing heavily, she looked up to see Taehyung's amused face. Taehyung was along with men who lurked in the shadows. Tae left behind the loyal followers and took the companion of the silent reapers. He jumped off his horse and he moved near her.
"Young miss, are you alright?" he asked after choosing his words carefully. His eyes scoured her tender face, wet with tears, small lips, and long hair. She was just like Na-ra, but oh, his eyes found her more cherishable and beautiful. His lips parted as he breathed in the smell of freshwater lilies.
"Am good," she replied as she rubbed her face with her sleeves. Wiping her tears while shielding his face. 'Ah,' Taehyung gasped inaudibly as he came near her. His hands pulled a royal dark green cloth and gave it to her. Whomever this lady was, she took him by her eyes. He might be a warrior, a man of avarice and authority, but he couldn't help but get lusted by her simple figurine.
"Lady, come sit down." He called as he cradled her hands and led her to a broken log.
"Who are you?" her voice whispered through the air as he spoke.
"Taehyung. Kim Taehyung of Baekje," he spoke as she pulled her hands back,
"You can't be. You have the reputation of being..." She stopped talking, scared of saying anything disrespectful.
"Notorious? Ruthless," With a swoosh he pulled his sword, its stainless iron blade shimmered under light.
"Yet, why don't I feel like killing you?" He asked. The question was more to himself and he felt like he knew the reason.
Yun-Hee chuckled. "If my husband hears this, I wonder what he might do,"
...what will he do? Her face morphed into unexplainable sadness.
"Is the lady in distress because of her husband?"
"Will the lad in warrior robe be of any help to it?" she asked,
"You can talk. Tell me about it."
"How do they keep going in the scorching heat?" Yun-Hee asked as she pointed at the shadows. Taehyung smiled as he moved his finger to a sign. The shadows immediately let down their mask and revealed their faces.
"Here. Now that's liberated. Let's help liberate your sadness," Taehyung said as he stood up and asked for her hand. "We are leaving for South Silla. Would you like some fresh air?"
"And why would I do that?"
"Because now it's time for you to break some boundaries," Taehyung beamed as she held his hands,
"I must be crazy... my husband, how will he be able to make food tonight? There are clothes to be washed-" Yun-Hee's words were cut in the middle as Taehyung pressed her hand.
"Let this ride be for you, Yun-Hee. It is not about his needs. Let us put forth yours first." Tae said as he brought her near Rinn. Pressing her hands on his shoulders, she jumped as Taehyung helped her to get on Rinn. Her hands ran softly on the fine horse as it neighed.
Tae asked Rinn to make their ride easier, speaking in a whisper. With her seated in front of him, he reached out the rein trying to not touch her as much as possible.
"Taehyung, why... why are you doing this?" Yun-Hee asked as the horse stepped a few steps forward.
"Let's say that I wished that someone would do this for me."
"Do what- woo!" Rinn launched into the wild as it cut through the air seamlessly.

Do you know me?
Not even the wolves, call me- 'a horse!' Am Rinn
And Tae would be upset with you if you forget my name the next time.
