AS SOON AS MAL arrived at the hospital, she was met by her friends, who were waiting for her to tell her that her boyfriend was alright. Nearly.

"He's waiting for you. He says he misses you so much." Mal smiled widely.

"I miss him too."

She walked towards his hospital room, 201, knocked for a few seconds, then finally entered.

She saw him lying on his bed, an IV hooked up to his right hand. He turned his head to her, and smiled.
"Finally.. I was waiting for you."

Mal smiled, and nodded, tears threatening to stream down her face.

"W-What's wrong ?" He asked.
"I missed you so much."
She walked towards the bed, and sat slowly next to him. He tried to sit up straight, but pain went through his body, making him throw his head back and whimper.

"I-It's okay.. Don't move. I'm here now."

"Yeah. Y-You're here now."

He reached out to hold her hand, squeezing it gently.
"What happened, Oakes ?"

He shook his head and closed his eyes at the memory.
"I was.. In my room, and I- heard the piano music again. I was curious so I got up from my bed, and walked around the room. But.."

"But what, sweetie ?"

"S-She was waiting for me."

"Visitation time ends in fifteen minutes." The doctor called out.

Mal squeezed her boyfriend's hand gently.
"Want a hug ?"

"Are you kidding me- of course !"
He slowly stretched his arms, and wrapped them around her gently. He sighed heavily, not realizing till that moment that he needed her hug so much.

The pair continued to hug for a few more minutes. Oakes let out a small tear and squeezed the girl's body gently.

"T-Thank you for coming.."
"It was my pleasure, sweetie."

"When are you.. Coming again ?" He asked shyly, not wanting to seem pathetic.
"I'll be here tomorrow."

He smiled, and slightly let her go, looking into her brown eyes with his deep, blue ones.

"I love you." He muttered in a soft voice. Mal didn't reply, but instead, she planted her lips upon his.

"Visitation time ends in ten minutes."

Mal let him go slightly.
"Come on, I have to go." She spoke. He gave her a last desperate kiss instead, while caressing her cheek gently.

"I'm going to see you tomorrow."

"At three o'clock ?" He questioned.

"At three o'clock." She assured, giving him one last smile before she left the room.

As soon as she was outside the place, she met her friends, who were clearly waiting for her.

"I have to tell you all something." She began.

"About what ?"

"It's about Elvira. We have to finish the song as fast as we can, otherwise we all die. She's the one who did this to Oakes."

"What else can we do ?" The group asked.

"I don't know. But we're going to find out soon."

Then they all left the hospital, intending to go back to the house.
