Vespera sat calmly on Adonis' lap as he took his time to gather his words to say to her.

The male was worried, scared that she'll see him as he see's himself.

A monster.

Even though he took to being a vampire alot better than many others has, he has never wanted to be one. Even though he was on his deathbed, he wasn't keen on turning.

Only turning for Marcus. The male was his brother, his biological brother and he was the only family he had. Meaning he was the only family that Marcus had. He didn't want the male to be alone and for who knows how long?

And so he turned.

Oddly he didn't have much problems in his newborn phase and was able to have control over his thrist.

It was rare for a newborn to have control over their thrist.

"I don't want you to be scared of me," he mutters and a snort passes Vespera's lips causing him to look at her. "Me scared of you?" She asked as if was the most funny thing she's ever heard.

How could she ever be scared of him?

This is her Adonis. She doesn't think she could ever be scared of it. It just wasn't a thing that's a possible.

Whatever he was, she could handle it.

Well she hopes so. "You're honestly the one person on this earth that I feel safe with," she adds and the male felt as his venom heart melted at her words. "And it won't change just because you're not human," she contiunes softly.

And she truly meant those words with all of her heart, mind, body and soul.

It wasn't often when all of her agreed with her on something therefore she should have listened to her mind that basically says that she shouldn't have become friends with her ex best friend even if her heart longed for love and friendship.

Shame on her but it won't happen again, that's a promise.

"That fact also won't change because of what you are neither," Vespera says as she rubs her hand against his cheek as gently as possible, smiling as he leaned into her touch.

He's her safe place but she's also his.

"Promise?" He mutters lowly as his red eyes met her own, the worry evident in his gaze. Her words did soothe him but that didn't mean he still didn't worry as he remembered Caius and his mate.

She said somewhat the same thing but freaked out when Cauis told her, nearly broke the bond without even knowing. She of course came around but after a while. Now she and Cauis were happy, both vampires and deeply in love. And finally thinking about adopting a child.

Vespera nodded her head. "I promise," she says softly as she pecks his lips and pulls back to allow him to tell her what he is. "Vampire," he says as he kept his gaze on her face, listening to her heart as well.

Losing her will cause him to lose himself in ways that he himself had never knew were possible.

She did make a face but her heart beat did not change in anyway. "Actually it makes sense," she mutters and Adonis just stares at her.

"You never really eat and when you do it seems like your're forcing it down," she starts off and he winces at since he tried his best to not make a face. Seems like he was never able to not do so.

But could you really blame him? Human food tasted like dirt, tastless and made them sick for days unless they can puke it back up.

"The no heart beat thing, the red eyes I guess but those are hot and honestly I'm not sure but I don't you sleep," Vespera contiues. "You do get breatless though," she added with a smirk on her lips and Adnois gives her blank look making her laugh softly as she wrapped her arms up around his neck.

The male was quick and wraps his arms around her waist, smiling as she kissed his cheeks.

"I bet if you could've blushed you would have," she says and the male huffs as she was correct. "Does this mean that you're a cold one?" She asks and he blinked at that. "I'm deep into supernatural lore, it is apart of me," she sighed out as he lets out a soft chuckle.

"I'm infact a cold one," Adonis states and she nods her head before she nuzzled up against his cheek as he tugged her closer to him. A sigh of content and utter relief left his lips as a soft smile tugs at his lips.

Not how he expected the day to go truly but he's not complaining.

Seems his mate was alot more observant than he thought.

The two stayed silent for a moment, just enjoying each other's company and the peace as Vespera started playing with his hair.

"Am I important to you?" She whispers softly. "Very," he replies lowly, he didn't see a reason to lie about that. "What am I to you?" Vespera questions.

Adnois stayed silent, unsure of how to answer the question.

Saying she was his mate wasn't enough. Atleast for him it's not enough.

"My other half," he breathes out softly as he tilts his head into her direction as she looked up at him. He bites back a grin as he heard her heart skip a beat. "My soul, my humanity, my reason to go on desipte what I am and you are truly everything I have dreamed of and more." He added.

He has always wondered about his mate and what they'd be like.

Then he met her. It was so random and yet so right. All he wanted to do was go on a walk since Aro was getting on his nerves.

The first thing that hit him was her scent that had melted away the anger he had towards Aro instantly. "In simple terms, you're my mate." He states.

Vespera has read too many fanfiction to not know what a mate is.

She knew exactly what that was.

"Oh," she says softly as she bit down on her bottom lip. "I guess I shouldn't have been too worried of saying these words to you," she adds causing the older male to furrow his brows.

What the hell was she talking about?

No- wait, why was she scared to tell him anything at all?

Did he make it seem like she couldn't tell him anything?

"I love you," Vespera says softly causing him to snap out his thoughts, going stiff as the words replyed over and over on a loop in his mind as he stared straight at the wall. The dark skinned girl sighs and gets off his lap, heading into the kitchen as he processed her words.

I want some tea, she thinks herself with a hum as she opened her cabinet. Damn, I got alot of tea's, she thought with a grin as that's how it should be.

She has enough to last a month or less.

Well for a 'normal' person, it would last a few months at best but Vespera loves drinking tea.

Vespera peaks back into the livingroom to see Adonis still frozen where she had left him and shrugs. He just needed abit to time.

A weak smile tugs at Edward's lips as he laid in the bed, looking at a picture of his  Isabella on his phone.

He was staying at the castle, something that Aro suggested to him though all the other Kings didn't seem too thrilled.

The first Cullen son was heartbroken as he stared at the picture of his girlfriend.

His dead girlfriend and it was his fault.

He thought he was protecting her by just leaving and never looking back yet that seemed to have been the worse choice to have choosen. 

Isabella was his bloodsinger to many but to him, she's his mate. His life partner.

Yes, she's a human. One that shouldn't belong in their world but he loves her, like she loves him.

His venom father, Carlisle and his wife Esme were all happy for him when he'd brought up Isabella and the fact that he wanted to date her. Alice was also glad for him, wanting another friend and she just wanted to also be closer to a human.

Rosalie didn't like Isabella and she didn't even try to pretend to like her. She made it clear that she didn't think Bella belong in their world. She was a bloodsinger. A bloodsinger that caused nothing but just problems for her and her family.

Her words always went through one ear and out the next with Edward, Carlisel, Esme and Alice. Especially when it came to Isabella.

And Rosalie's mate, Emmett well he did not like Bella neither. But he tried to do his best to keep the peace but always did agree with his wife.

Jasper didn't do well around humans, so he didn't really like them and the face he was forced to be around one, one that's a bloodsinger made him more annoyed.

So yeah, those three didn't like Isabella. Alice was Edward's only sibling that did not treat the girl weirdly and was nice to her.

And though things have happened cause of his involvement with Isabella to be a bit rough, the only thing the Edward was regretting was leaving.

So what three of his coven members did not like Isabella? He loves her, Carlisle, Alice and Esme also welcomed her into the family as well. Four against three. 

We'll meet again, he thinks as he closes his eyes, picturing his beloved Isabella.

"Wait what?" Adonis breathes out finally as he blinks his eyes and furrowed his brows before he looked down, seeing his mate laying in his arms fast asleep, her bonnet on her head and dressed in her pajamas.

How ador- how long have I been out of it? He thinks as he glances around and see's that her curtains were closed, meaning it was night now.

The male glanced down at his watch and a wave of surprise and embarrassment washed over him, seeing that it was just about one in the morning.

Did he saying she loved him shock him that much? Maybe.

He did just tell her about a vampire and all, her being his mate and she says that? To him? Like she doesn't know he would stop working for a moment or two?

Adonis glances down at himself and lets out a small chuckle, seeing that he was covered in the blanket that she was too using and that his boots were no longer on his feet. He even had a bonnet on his head.

Of course she'd do that. "Pretty girl," he mumbles as he gently scooped her up in his arms, grinning as she snuggled into him. A soft hum of content soon passes her lips and he headed into the direction of her room.

He's been here enough to know where it is.

When he walked in, he gently laid her in bed and climbs into it, holding her close to his chest as he kisses her head.

"Goodnight, my love." He says softly. He will have to tell her that he loves her in the morning.
