SUMMARY

Brileigh Farren lived in and out of foster homes her entire life, her parents not expecting her birth (which seemed to happen out of literally nowhere) and wanting nothing to do with her since the moment she was brought into existence. Brileigh dealt with abusive foster parents and siblings that constantly neglected her, making her feel that her presence was a nuisance. All she could ever remember about her previous foster homes when she was asked by social workers, "What did you do to them?" was how she opened her mouth to scream, and the next thing she knew everything was black, and she was back in foster care; half of Brileigh's life was a blur. Then one day, when Brileigh discovered she had special abilities, she suddenly found herself in a lifeless future; she had time traveled to the day that the world ended, and she found herself alone, or so she thought.

Five Hargreeves was sick and tired of his father telling him that he "wasn't ready" to time travel; he had been practicing and felt more ready than ever. When his last straw with his father finally snapped, he walked right out of the academy and time traveled until he reached the apocalypse. Everything was in ruins, everybody was dead, including his siblings, or so he thought. He wandered around until stumbling across a girl all by herself, the two of them sharing their ability to time travel.

When Five and Brileigh put their powers together to try to get back home, they find themselves in a different time in a different place in the past; Hawkins, Indiana in 1984, to be exact, and the two of them were about to have the craziest journey of their lives trying to find their way back home to prevent the end of the world as they know it.

A/N: i just finished the umbrella academy a couple nights ago and wow ?? it's another show that's taken over my life ?? shocking !1!1!
