Hey O!

So, I told you guys to ask me questions about our characters or my next book and stuffs like that and mehn, y'all can ask questions o 🤣. But I really appreciate them, and I'm really going to enjoy answering all your questions in this part of the book.

Most of the questions are related, especially the once that have to do with our sugar Zaddy, Khalil Olumide Gobir. So, questions like that, that came on repeat, I'll just answer them once. Good? Okay! Let's get to it!

1. WAS THERE ANY CHARACTER YOU CONNECTED WITH ON A DIFFERENT LEVEL IN THE WHOLE SERIES?

I think the one character I really connected with was Elyon. Looking at it critically now, she is just like me. Always wanting to help, always curious and there's the hero complex🤣. Having a hero complex is not as bad as it seems. It has its perks but we shouldn't over do it. So yeah, I connected with Elyon on the whole level. The other characters were bits and pieces from people I have seen around, people I have made connections with, my friend and my family. Skye's character in particular is from my elder sister.

2. IF THERE WAS ANYTHING YOU COULD REWIND OR MAKE 'UNHAPPEN', WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Actually, I don't think I'd want to rewind anything in the book. I loved the way everything turned out, even the tragic parts. Honestly, if I tell you the way the book was meant to turn out before when I started drafting the story line, you'd definitely prefer this version 🤣💔.

3. DID YOU AT ANY PERIOD IN TIME FEEL LIKE GIVING UP ON THE SERIES?

Never. I've never felt like giving up on this book, or the series in general. Yes, there were times I felt discouraged that the feed back wasn't forthcoming, but it never actually stopped me from writing. I love this, writing.

4. DID TOLANI EVER LOVE JAMAL.

Hmmmn. Tolani liked Jamal, I won't say she loved him. She felt she was becoming weak with him, breaking her cover of that sort - almost the same way she felt with Khalil. The only thing that made the difference between Tolani being with Jamal and Tolani being with Khalil was that Jamal didn't stay long enough to know what was wrong with her, Khalil did. But don't blame Jamal for not staying, Tolani didn't really give him any much choice.

5. DID TOLANI AND KHALIL EVER DATE?

Nope. Tolani and Khalil were never official.

6. WHAT HAPPENED TO TOLANI'S MODELLING DREAMS?

Tolani was still a model till the end. I didn't really talk expressly on it, but that doesn't mean I didn't mention it a few times, because I did. Reference to Chapter 25.

7. WHAT HAPPENED TO TOLANI'S DAD AFTER HE CONFESSED?

I didn't want to write that something particular happened to him. But think of everything awful and destructive that can happen to someone as wicked as that man and wish it for him🔪🙂.

8. DID YOU EVER CRY WHILE WRITING ANY SCENE.

Yes. Yes, I did.

9. WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO WRITE THE BTS FAMILY SERIES?

WOW! Okay, so it wasn't meant to be a series at first. It was meant to end with Building Bridges as a Spin off to Beneath the Surface. But then, someone just suggested that I should also write Aisha's book and I was like "okay, let's make this a series!" and voila! It's a series! So, to answer your question, my family members (you guys) inspired the BTS FAMILY SERIES 😌❤️.

10. HOW DO YOU WRITE YOUR KISS SCENES?

🤣 My kiss scenes. If you don't know by now, I enjoy writing kiss scenes. It's probably one of my favourite scenes to write in every book. But how do I write it? I have absolutely no idea. It just comes to me. Maybe because I kinda picture myself in the scene and I act all the scenes out in my room (no, it's not weird at all 😌), then I ask myself "Temi, how would you like to be kissed." 🤣 And that's how I write it.

All of that above probably didn't make any sense but you get the gist I hope 🤣.

11. HOW DO YOU COME UP WITH YOUR TITLES?

Nna ehn! Coming up with a book title is probably the hardest part of writing the book itself. You have to be able to broaden your mind and your thoughts, try to look for words and things that encompasses everything the book is about. For me, I don't worry myself with a title until I had drafted out the plot of my book and I know exactly what my book entails. Then after that, I just start to brainstorm, ask my friends, seek suggestions, open Dictionary and Thesaurus, get few words that can describe my book, look for Fancy synonyms and boom! We have a title.

12. SHOULD WE BE SCARED? WILL MATEO EVER HAVE SENSE?🥺😂

🤣 Probably not.

13. IS "SPIRITUAL WARFARE" YOUR NEXT BOOK?

No, Spiritual Warfare isn't my next book and I'm not sure when I'm going to pick it up again. That book is a very delicate book (for those that read the first few chapters I published before I took it down), talking about very delicate things. It's not something I can just write without having a strong spiritual stance. If at all I'm still going to publish it, it might not be on Wattpad.

14. YOU HAVE A UNIQUE WAY OF CONNECTING WITH YOUR READERS. HOW DO YOU DO IT?

🤣Honestly, I'm myself with my readers. If I vibe with you, I vibe with you. And the truth is that, I vibe with a lot of you or let me say, all my active readers. You guys are my people.

15. THE HARDEST CHARACTER TO EXPRESS IN ALL YOUR BOOKS.

There was no character that was hard to express or portray. Why, because even before I start the book, I have carefully drafted out all my characters. I have written down their "characters", built on them, worked on them. So yeah, there was no character that was hard to express because I knew all of them.

16. WHICH CHARACTER'S DEATH WAS THE HARDEST TO WRITE?

I think we all know the answer to that question.

17. HOW DO YOU COME UP WITH THE NAMES OF YOUR CHARACTER?

I look for very unique names, names people don't often hear or haven't heard before. Like Elyon. That's the name of one of my friends and it's actually one of God's names (like Jehovah Elyon: it means "God most high"). So, I just dabble, go on the Internet too and I get names.

18. WILL KHALIL BE GETTING HIS OWN BOOK?

I think this is the question everyone has been waiting for me to answer🤣.

The answer is Yes. Khalil will be getting his own book but it is not coming out any time soon. I already have another project lined up for this year and I also need to carefully plan Khalil's book, because our Sugar Zaddy cannot be having an half assed book to his name. It has to be spectacular and that can only happen if I have ample time to plan his story. So, Khalil's story won't be out till probably mid next year. That seems like years from now, I know but don't worry, I told you I have another project lined for the year. It's gonna knock your socks off.

19. WHAT IS THE TITLE OF YOUR NEXT BOOK?

The Title of my Next Book... Would be announced in the author's note after this "chapter". Who is excited to hear it?!

20. WHO WILL BE THE FINEST BOY IN YOUR NEXT BOOK?
