Chapter Three: Overwhelm
You may have enemies yourself. Perhaps the gossip girl or the know-it-all geek. Or maybe the egotistical girl/boy in your class, or the mean-ass-hell-jock. Perhaps your being bullied by them, or your the one bullying.

"Sooo tell me..." Cindy asked Callisthenes, spinning her pen around. "Why did you decide to come to Crownzel? Or, no, what are your intentions? No, way too straight forward. Oh, I got it!" She murmured quickly, tapping her pen against her notebook vigorously. Callisthenes could feel the stares from the crowd, some whispering to one another, most staring, expecting something to happen. He gulped, overwhelmed by her questions and the heavy gazes. "What's a criminal like you doing here in Crownzel?" Cindy asked confidently, her eyebrows raised, waiting for him to answer.
Callisthenes's eyes widened. (Criminal? I'm no criminal, I've never done anything in my life to disobey the law! From what I remember...) Callisthenes thought nervously. "C-criminal? I'm no crimin-" "Don't lie to me!" Cindy barked enthusiastically, interrupting him. "You're the kid who got arrested for underage drinking, aren't you?" She asked confidently, her chest forward. "I-I'm no criminal! You've got the wrong guy, I'm just another s-student!" Callisthenes stuttered quickly, feeling his throat become tighter and tighter. Cindy huffed, and her expression became angered. "Are you suuureee?" She asked, leaning in his personal space.
He panicked. The stares from the students were beginning to bore into him, and he needed to leave, before he freaked out. "YES! I-I mean, yes! I am, j-just ask the teachers! Anyways, gotta go! Bye!" Callisthenes snapped, his tone terrified. Before Cindy could respond, he fled as fast as he could, students glancing as he ran by.
"Wha- ugh, what is with this these new, wimpy students?!" She growled angrily, as the other students averted their attention away from here. "Well, judging by his nervous behavior, he's definitely the criminal student. Shame though, he's kinda hot..." Cindy murmured to herself as she slid her notebook and pen into her purse. "I definitely need to tell the Newspaper Club..."
Callisthenes dashed into one of the bathrooms, running into one of the stalls, locking it, and slouched on the toilet. (Jesus...) He thought, as he clenched his chest, his heart pounding loudly. (What is up with people and staring...? I felt like they were judging me from every angle...) He sighed, and closed his eyes, attempting to calm himself down. (What was with that crazy girl anyways? What was her name again? Sidney? Lindy? Ugh, I just need to calm down... Who cares about her name anyways?) He decided to wait in the stall until the bell rang for class, so he got his backpack, and got out his phone. At that exact moment, a text message popped up.
New Message from Renee
(That's weird...) Callisthenes thought as he unlocked his phone. (I don't remember having a contact by the name of Renee...) He was unsure who this 'Renee' character was, and whether he wanted to know what the message she had sent him was... But in the end, his curiosity got the better of him. He opened his messenger app, and checked what the message was.
"Can you see this message?" It read. He decided to reply.
"Is this a scam?"
"No, it's not. Please, you need to listen to me."
"You can't trust that student council member. He's going to kill you."
"What? Is this some kind of sick joke?"
"No, I'm not joking."
"He will kill you if you get too close to him."
"Stay way from him."
"But who is this student council member?"
"I wish I could specify his name, but I can't say it."
"Wait, can I ask you something?"
"Yeah?"
"Which school am I in?"
"Crownzel Academy, why?
"Who are you?"
"Don't you remember? It's me, Renee!"
"You know, Renren, Rennie?"
"I'm sorry, but I think you've got the wrong guy."
"No, I know it's you, Callisthenes."
"We were friends for a really long time!"
"Don't you remember?"
"No."
"As cold as always..."
"Wait sorry, I have to go now."
Renee has left the chat
Just how did this 'Renee' get his phone number anyways? And who is this student council member who he is supposed to avoid? He shook his head. (Now I've got two questions...) He thought to himself. (How am I able to know about a person by simply looking at their body and full name, and who is Renee...?) He groaned and put his phone back in his backpack. (I need to think more on th-) Suddenly, the bell rang, signaling class has began. Callisthenes shot up, and quickly pulled out his folder again from his backpack, then pulling out a piece of paper that had his daily schedules on it. "Floor 4... Class 4-1... ELA." He read out loud. He put the paper back, as well as the folder back in his backpack, and put his backpack on his shoulder. "Alright," He said unlocking the stall and leaving the bathroom. "Time for class..."
