The anticipation of your new debut song "Freak 'was released by Cube Entertainment. Urban Pulse was overwhelmed by giving you so much support.

The concept you came up, it was solely inspired by popular horror films. You amazed tye management with your creativity a direction.

.The mv was just as unique showcasing your vocal skills. When it premiered. The room was filled with excitement for the mv. Your group members were screaming at the creativity of the mv. They were super excited.

"Look at those visuals! This is going to blow people's minds," Shuhua exclaimed, her face lit up with a mix of pride and excitement.

"I just loved those special effects, Yuqi outdone herself !" Miyeon exclaimed, her eyes glued to the screen, "This is going to be explode in every social media platforms!"

"The horror fusion is so unique. This MV it's going to break records," Minnie added, unable to take her eyes off the screen, she was bouncing excitedly her seat. "Urbanites are going to love it."

"Oh my word guys! The final cut was totally insane," Shuhua gushed as she excitedly jump up and down.

It's unbelievable how well the horror theme, worked out. Wow! Yuqi your concept was definitely on point. ,"Soyeon chuckled, with appreciation," Your make up and the special effects was truly tops."

It wasn't long when your mv broke records on a fill scale.It garnered a viewer ship of 95 million in the 24 h. On YouTube. It was setting you as theme with the most views for a solo artist.

Your song was so popular. It claimed the charts on Sportify. Setting a new streaming record. Before long 'Freak ' quickly entered the Billboard Hot 100.at number 5. , It was nr 2 on Billboard 200, and it even topped the charts in the World digital song sales at nr 3. And Global you top nr 1. Your agency was super hyped up.

"Oh my goodness , It's unbelievable, your song Freak is charting everywhere.! Good gracious. 95 million in one day,Yuqi you the bomb,." Shuhua said in disbelief. She was so proud on you.

You just shook your head, in awe, " I can't believe it girls. It is beyond popular. It's unimaginable. "

Your songs success continued to mount., breaking sales and strearecotds, making radio waves on various debut stages like Music bank etc. Freak won approximately eight show wins on music shoes.

Every social platform was in a frenzy, Twitter especially saw a meltdown over "Freak" . Your fans Urbanites were flooding the platforms, discussing the horror theme.

"Yuq1" topped iTunes' top albums chart in six regions, including Russia and Chile, as well as iTunes' top K-pop music album charts in 15 regions, including the United States, England and Germany,

Your mini album topped the Gaon and Hanteo charts, further solidifying your place in the industry.

What was surprising was the Bangtan maknae lines thar congratulated you on Twitter platform. Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung, were causing a further meltdown and exciting your fans

The "Freak" dance challenge took off, with Shuhua and Minnie leading the charge. Even Chaewon and Eunchae from De-N-im, StayC's Yoon, along with international dance crews, joined in, performing street versions of the choreography.

J-Hope, Jungkook, and Jimin the J'3 also participated in the challenge, their video going viral and adding to the song's popularity.

" On her debut solo EP, Urban Pulse YUQI has one wish: for all the "freaks" around the world to confidently sing along with her.

YUQ1 boasted a whopping 500,000 pre-order sales prior to its April 23 release, demonstrating the singer/songwriter's tremendous popularity. YUQI's creative flair permeates everything from the music itself to its accompanying visuals, as does her desire to stand alone. "I'm a certified freak," she sings, celebrating the liberation she feels when embracing her uniqueness....

As her understanding of creating her crafts deepens, YUQI's self-awareness also grows. "The depth of my understanding of the songs I create has significantly changed and improved," YUQI tells GRAMMY.com. "I, personally [and] as an artist, have matured a lot!"

Perhaps she picked up some of these facets from her grandmother who was a famous opera singer in the 60's. "Honestly, even without joking, my grandmom taught me everything when I was 3 years old, she was an incedible artist" she says with a laugh.

While in Seoul, Yuqi sat down with GRAMMY.com to share why she thinks everyone is a "freak," and how this era marks the beginning for her as a solo artist.

This is just your first mini-album, but do you already have a vision for your solo career?

I tried to capture the YUQI that's real and confident in this album. No matter what other people say about me, I'm not the weird one. But, in fact, I think everyone is a "freak," too.

This album expresses my confidence and emotional life through music. I wanted to convey that you just have to live confidently too, just as I do. When preparing for my solo album, I also tried different hairstyles that I've never tried as a U.Pulse member!

You've previously shared that moving to Korea alone to pursue this career was difficult, and your parents were strongly against it at first. Do you think those uncertainties and challenges played a huge role in making who you are?

Definitely! That situation did play a huge role in my career. I just kept on believing in myself and moving forward for my dream and what I wanted to achieve. And through the journey, I discovered that believing in yourself is the best way and that mindset helped me a lot.

I was insecure about my voice when I first came to Korea. But then, everyone told me how precious my voice was. Just like my unique voice, I believe there were many aspects of myself that I wasn't initially aware of, which contributed to my growth as an artist.

I'm always open and working hard to listen to many people's opinions so I'll be able to have a broad perspective. It helps me and makes me develop myself in many ways!

Your music often tackles common worries about growing up, and some of the songs on YUQ1 are inspired by your personal experience such as "My Way" and "Everytime." How do you feel about sharing this side of yourself with the public?

When I talk about my worries and tell a story about them, I feel that everyone actually shares similar experiences regardless of the circumstances they've been through or will go through.

In a previous interview with GRAMMY.com, you said that your biggest takeaway since debuting in 'Urban Pulse' is to always be proud of yourself. Do you feel that way now, or is there a gap that you think you need to fill in order to achieve that pride?

Honestly, my thoughts have not changed over the years. I still feel proud of myself, always! Something that would not change, is that I would still [like to] challenge myself and try to do anything I want to go after.

Also, I always think that I'm not perfect and always try to make up for what is lacking.

You believe you haven't succeeded yet. However, you've already come so far in people's eyes. At what point in time do you believe you can proudly say "I made it"?

When people only see me in the media, they would think that I have succeeded a lot. But for me, personally, I don't think so... I still have many things to do in order to succeed in my career. And I always try to keep moving forward with my goals.

My biggest dream, both now and in the past, has always been to live a happy life. It changes from time to time often, but I guess living a happy life is my ultimate goal.

You never forget to mention how you want to always keep improving in interviews. How would you describe YUQI who works really hard to showcase her growth right now?

While preparing for this album, I have experienced so many things that I haven't experienced fully before. For instance, there are so many genres I explored while preparing for this album. Also, it was the first time where I designed my own album, came up with the concept, and had a full album with all the songs that I composed except this one! My Urban Pulse leader Soyeon produced it also.

This album definitely allowed me to grow as an artist. Even though there were a lot of difficulties, I believe that those are part of the journey and made YUQI even more mature, have more responsibilities, and be aware of them." A/n Real adaption

One day at the studio, the atmosphere was so electric as the news came in: you and Urban Pulse were nominated for the Golden Disc Awards. The room erupted in cheers
Fans and critics alike were in awe of your performance on various debut stages in Korea. Your presence and charisma left a lasting impression, and each performance seemed to outshine the last.

"We did it!" Miyeon shouted, hugging everyone in sight.

"We're up for Best New Artist, Best Performance, Best K-Wave, and Best Global Performance," Soyeon said, tears of joy streaming down her face. "And I'm nominated for Best Songwriter!"

You were thrilled but also nervous. "OMG! Freak nominated also. I'm up for four awards: Best New Artist (Solo), Best Music Video, Song of the Year, and Popularity."

You were all nominated for nine awards al, together. Oh wow.

You and the girls were dancing together.

You got a text from, Seokjin. They were in Europe touring and doing their remaining shows. Right now they are in Paris.

Seokjin: Congratulations on all your nominations my cute Bunny.We might attend too. I’m extremely happy seeing all guys cool like this and standing here with that trophy! You know I’m proud of you. That song Freak is dope. You can kill it easily.

You thanked him.

You: Thanks. Seokjin. Gosh I'm so nervous to perform though. We're are up with more famous names.

Seokjin: Don't fret , you will be awesome. Be yourself on stage. Bts is also nominated., so we can see each other soon.

You: Amazing! Thank you for always being there for me.

Seokjin; I'm your biggest fan, and I really miss you so much, Bunny. Remember you can't date other idols, okay. Not even that Got7 Jackson or Felix.

You: You cute when you so jealous. Okay, I'll be talking to you soon. And Mr Jackson is just my senior from school. You know I only have eyes on a wwh guy. Who can even dare to overlook him.

Seokjin: Remember I love you very much Bunny girl. Nothing will stop me from saying it every time.

You: I do love you too Seokjin. It's only these awards that rendered me more nervous than ever.

Seokjin: Don't worry girl. You must just enjoy every moment. You ll be so great on that stage. I'm rooting for you. Even all the boys.

His words were warming your heart.

Jungkook even posted a story clip with a video clip of your mv. Bts also mentioned Freak. On Instagram and Twitter . Even Jimin gushed about your horror concept and after this your follower account skyrocketed .

That night of the Golden Disk Awards, you were so nervous. It was tense in that atmosphere but yet exciting.
You felt so blessed when Bts acknowledged Urban Pulse that night making the other girl groups green with envy.

Bts walked away with the coveted 'Album of the Year" as well as a Bosang. For song of the year.

Soyeon won Best Songwriter for "Freak," making you incredibly proud. "Soyeon, you did it!" you exclaimed, hugging her tightly.

Urban Pulse won Best New Group, Best K-Wave, and Best Global Performance for their song "Queencard." When your name was called for Best New Artist (Solo), Best Music Video, Song of the Year, and Popularity, the joy was overwhelming.

Tears were streaming down your cheeks in happiness when you all walked away with trophies.

When you performed, Seokjin gave you a supported smile and the maknae-line was dancing

When they performed 'Boy with luv'. Seokjin through the rose and it landed in front of your group, who were just super excited.

Backstage, while waiting for a photo op and an winners' interview with the press, you chatted with your ex-trainee dorm friends Wonyoung and Chaewon who were super hyped up for you. They knew how sad you were when you missed out on debuting with De-n-im.

You saw your old dorm mates, like Wonyoung and you congratulate them on their win.

"We are so happy for you Yuqi," She gushed. You gave the tall girl a tight hug.

"You did so amazing. We missed you cuteness and adorable self, Yuqi. When can we meet up again?" Chaewon asked.

"I missed you too, our friendship, you day with a cute smile. It was a wild ride for all of us in that dorm."

Catching up was so good. You saw the three Bts maknaes coming in your direction. Which caused Chaewon and Wonyoung to fangirl and to become really flustered.

The boys nod and greeted you all very froendl6band you could see your friend getting rea.lt excited. The maknae-line was out waiting for Seokjin to introduced them to you. You were only chatting online,  but you never met in person.

Seokjin was furious when he found out they got your number and never told him. His headlocks were dangerous.

"It's so great to finally meet you," Chaewon said, her voice shaking, admiration in her eyes. You wanted to snort. She likes Jungkook but he is younger than you.

Wonyoungs' eyes were filled with stars. She can't believe these handsome mega stars stopped to congratulate Yuqi and meet them. Jimin just gave her an adorable smirk.

Taehyung smirk discreetly handed you a blue blanket over a note he pressed into your hand, when your friends were distracted by his friends.

"It's not mine," you whispered, but he just chuckled softly, his eyes gesture to the note.

"With a wink, he murmured “you’ll need this” then walked away leaving you curious as the note felt in your hand that was obscured by the blanket.

Urban Pulse had been invited to attend BTS’s last Concert in Seoul. If you say yes, they will get you Vip tickets of the highest quality.

You feel jittery and thrilled at the same time. You were so excited to go for BTS concert, but you also worried about press and rumors but there was all that thrill and support from BTS and your friends that felt right.

You instantly know that Urban Pulse will want to go to the concert. But you have your reservations.

After the Golden Disc Awards, Urban Pulse returned to Cube Entertainment for a congratulatory party. The atmosphere was electric with excitement and pride for your achievements.

The staff and crew were lining up to congratulate you and the band on your wins .Even your CeO of Cube was there, full of pride.

"You made us so proud Urban Pulse, your hard work, your dedication I'd finally paid off. Congrats. You will still soar higher. " He said warmly.
The party was I full swing with loads of food and laughter.

Our family also sent numerous messages to congratulate you on your achievements.

Our parents told you how proud they were of you. Your eyes were tearing up. They have finally accepted your career because you are even richer than all your siblings with a networth of $1.2 million salary per year.Urban Pulse is very wealthy. You are personally wealthy with a networth of $4 million.

The longing was evident in his text.
