【 SUMMARY 】

Beth Bloskey was never meant to be a witch. She wasn't supposed to have magic. How could she, when her family line was made up entirely of squibs from Helga Hufflepuff's daughter all the way down to Beth's own brother? She shouldn't have magic. It shouldn't be possible, but when a Hogwarts letter arrives with her name on it, it could only mean one thing; she was a witch.

That's when she decided she would make her family proud. She would make up for the centuries of non-magical Bloskey's, but first she had to fit in at Hogwarts and with the growing issue of blood status that meant being a pureblood. So, a new Beth Bloskey was born, one that all of Hogwarts believed to be the true her. All except her childhood friends who knew the truth, Lily Evans and Severus Snape. They would keep her secret and they had, but when Beth's fourth year at Hogwarts rolls around the truth is discovered by none other than a charismatic Gryffindor by the name of James Potter.

Desperate to keep her secret, Beth makes a deal. A deal that would force her to lie to her friends, betray her family, and much, much worse; catch feelings for the boy with eyes only for her best friend.
