The next morning I woke up in my own bed. My head felt fuzzy and ached just a little. I sat up. Correction: it ached a lot. I moved too fast.
I loosened my hair, hoping it would take some of the pain away. I realized I was still in my clothes from the night before.
"What happened last night?" I mumbled to myself.
I checked my phone to see the time. It was 6:30am. It was Thursday too. It meant the weekend was coming soon, thank goodness. I needed more sleep.
I got up and headed to the kitchen as I heard pans moving around. It was my mom making scrambled eggs.
"Oh, Y/n, you're up!" She sounded, noticing my presence. "Are you feeling any better?" She asked, while tossing the scrambled eggs around in the pan with the spatula in her right hand.
"How did I get here?" I asked, tiredly. I couldn't remember much but I knew I definitely wasn't at home.
"Yoongi brought you home," she said. Memories immediately flooded my head. Yoongi getting shot, the club, that huge man that I knocked out. "He said you got sick and rested for a bit there. You were fast asleep when he brought you here."
Thank goodness for that. If I wasn't asleep, she probably would've noticed I was drunk.
"Oh..." I said nervously. "I remember now. I'm sorry for staying out so late," I said.
"You better be," she said. "I was worried and phoned you a lot. I'm happy you have this friend you can visit from time to time, but in the future, please refrain from staying out so late. It worries me," she said, concern evident in her voice.
"O-oh. I'm sorry. I'll be more careful next time," I said.
The rest of the morning at home was normal. I showered, I got ready for school, I ate and left. But I thought a lot too. I couldn't believe I had a plan yesterday but I was so drunk I didn't even do anything. I was supposed to steal my dad's book back from Jin. But no worries, today I wasn't drunk and I was going to get it back.
When I got to school, it was at least twenty minutes until school would start and I sat outside the school building in the front. I watched as other people all met up with their own friends and socialized. Doing nothing made me tired. I leaned my head against the wall and closed my eyes in hopes to satisfy my still tired eyes.
"Y/n?" I heard someone sound. I opened my eyes to see it was Jungkook. "What are you doing here all alone?" He asked as he set his bag down on the bench beside me.
"Morning," I greeted. "No reason," I answered his question. It's totally not because I don't have any friends. "I just needed some quiet," I said.
"Yeah, I don't like loud places either," he agreed. He hesitated a bit before continuing. "Have you and your mother ever thought of moving to any place quieter?" He asked.
I laughed slightly. "We never have to money to do things like that. I've never even traveled before."
He was shocked. "Seriously? No spontaneous trips or anything?" He asked.
"Nope."
Suddenly something in Jungkook's expression changed. He seemed nervous. He also seemed to be watching something. I turned my head to see what he was looking at. "Is something wrong-" But all I saw was a black vehicle parked on the side of the road.
He quickly grabbed my shoulders, turning me back to him. He laughed trying to hide his nervousness. "It's nothing," he said while scratching the back of his neck. I decided to just brush it off. "But you should seriously consider traveling some time. It'd be good for you," he said as he sat down beside me.
"Okay," I said uncertainly and giggled slightly.
There was a silence for a while and it was clear that Jungkook was a bit more tense now. I just didn't understand why.
"Are you alright?" I asked, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Yeah, totally," he said quickly. He seemed to be fighting to say something. "It's just... Do you ever feel..." He was struggling to find words. He sighed. "What was your father like?" He asked. "If you don't mind me asking," he added quickly.
"I don't really remember that much but I think he was pretty cool. He was brave and funny and a pretty great father, even though he wasn't around a lot. But he'd still always take me and my mom out when he got home early, or he would buy me things," I ranted. I sighed. "You're so lucky you still have a dad. You better spoil him," I chuckled.
Jungkook didn't really seem fazed but tried to laugh. He sure was acting weird.
"Why the sudden question though?" I asked.
"I- uh- just couldn't stop thinking about how unfair it is that your father isn't here anymore. I'm sorry."
I laughed slightly. "Why are you apologizing? Your mom isn't around either. You don't deserve that."
Just then, the bell rings and Jungkook suddenly says his goodbyes and disappears.
He certainly was acting very strange.

It was third period already and I'd just entered the class. Time seemed to be going fast today. Even though girls kept eyeing me and whispering from afar because of my so-called boyfriend.
I walked to my seat that was next to Yoongi's and there I noticed Yoongi sitting already. Suddenly the memory of Yoongi kissing me the night before comes to mind. My eyes were wide briefly until he looked up at me and I quickly tried to act normal as I walked towards my seat.
Min Yoongi really did kiss me last night, didn't he?
As I sat down next to him I could already feel the awkward tension.
"Morning," he greeted lazily while looking up at me, his cheek resting on his palm.
"M-morning," I stuttered, with a straight face. Why am I like this? "A-are you okay? Your arm?" I got out.
He chuckled nervously. "Still hurts," he said. I could see his bandaged up arm underneath his white shirt. "But I'm alright."
"Oh, that's good," I said then turned to take out my books. Seriously? That was it? Couldn't I come up with anything better to say?
"What about you head?" He asked.
"Hm?" My head shot up again, a few books in my hand and I set them down slowly onto the table. It didn't take long for me to feel the pain again from moving my head too fast but I tried not to show that I was in pain.
"Is it not hurting? You drank quite a lot last night, I heard," he elaborated.
"O-oh, yeah, I'm fine," I lied. "I mean... I was dizzy this morning but it's doing better now..." I explained awkwardly and engulfed myself into my note book to avoid embarrassment.
. . .
Even so... Another awkward silence.
I decided to ignore it and just pretend to do some work. Yoongi just sat there awkwardly. The teacher finally came in, reducing the awkwardness between us but there was still an undeniable tension.
A few minutes passed and Yoongi kept looking at me at random moments. Finally he said something.
"Yah, say something. Why are you always so awkward?" He sighed.
"Uh, I was born awkward," I reminded him awkwardly and shifted uncomfortably in my seat.
He sighed. "Aish, I'm trying to figure out if you're awkward because you remember what happened last night or if you're just being your normal awkward self and really did have a hangover last night. Give me an answer," he whined, childishly.
Now I was trapped and didn't know what to say. I couldn't even look him in the face. "Uh... I..."
"Ah, come on, Y/n... You know what happened last night. I can see it in your eyes," he stated and pouted shyly. I noticed he was a bit embarressed too. His ears and cheeks were tinted a slight pink.
"What if I did remember?"
"Y/n," he whined. I sighed in my head. He really wanted a straight answer. Why was this so hard?
I opened my mouth to say something when suddenly a head popped up between the two of us. Jin. "Something happen last night?" He asked, wiggling his eyebrows at us.
I rolled my eyes and faced the front again. Yoongi sighed and turned to the front too.
Somehow Jin took it as an invitation to take his chair and put it between the two of ours as he sat between us. He rested his elbows on our desks and his cheeks in his palm as he stared up at us intrigued.
There was a moment of silence.
"Okay, fine. Don't tell me anything," he said, exasperated and threw up his arms.
How was the teacher not noticing this? Or even allowing this? Because he was Kim SeokJin?
"Y/n was awesome though! Little girl's got some skills. We need to do this again," he said excitedly as he wrapped his arm around Yoongi's shoulder as if they were best friends.
He pushed him off. "Yeah, almost getting killed for someone I hate is so much fun," Yoongi said sarcastically.
"Aw, don't lie. Deep down you actually do care," Jin said, tapping Yoongi's chest before Yoongi pushed his hand off.
"I will make Y/n break your nose too," Yoongi warned, glaring at the other boy smiling cheekily at him.
"As long as she doesn't give me another lecture about Oreos," Jin retorted.
"Hey!" I exclaimed, offended, only loud enough for the three of us to hear.
I laughed. For a moment, just a moment, it almost felt like I had real friends. How long before that would be gone?
Then suddenly an announcement was made:
"Min Yoongi to come to the principal's office. Min Yoongi to come to the principal's office."
The teacher sighed. "Min Yoongi?"
He got up. "I'm going," he said, lifting up his hand in defeat.

Class had ended but I couldn't stop thinking about why Yoongi was being called to the office. Did he do something bad again?
Yoongi never returned back to class and it made me worry. Just a bit.
Or maybe a lot.
I dont know what it is but suddenly today, Yoongi just seemed different to me. Attractive. Only during this third period did I notice how sharp his jawline was when he talked. How alluring his eyes were when they locked with my own. And it was strange because before, they always only looked so emotionless or sad. And his lips. They seemed so soft and I knew they were, especially since I've kissed them before. My heart skipped a beat just at the thought. The way his lips moved; his kiss was so gentle and caring, yet at the same time so needy and urgent. Like he needed me and would have been devastated if anything were ever to happen to me.
"Y/n!" A voice called out, pulling me out of my own thoughts. Thank goodness. A breath I didn't know I've been holding in finally came out. If that voice hadn't call out to me, I would've suffocated myself with these thoughts by now.
I turned to face the owner of the voice. It was Mina. Seeing her, I couldn't help but feel myself cave in.
"Mina," I called back.
She reached me and a warm smile was placed on her glossed lips. "I'm glad I found you," she said and linked her arm with my own as we began to walk again. "You were heading to the library, right? We'll go there and we can spend break together."
A warm feeling started to develop in my chest. She wanted to spend her break with me. But then another thought appeared in my mind. Jin's voice. "She's only using you, you know."
In my mind I silently replied, "I know."
I stopped walking and pulled my arm back. "No," I said softly.
Mina turned to me with a confused expression. "Y/n?"
"You're too cruel..." I said, almost in a whisper. I finally looked up at her. "If you want something from me, just ask. Don't pretend you care. Please," I said, my eyes pleading her.
"What? Who ever told you I was pretending care? You think I'm using you?"
"No, I know it," I said, my voice raised a bit. "Why else would you suddenly want to talk to me for? If you didn't hear about me dating Jin, you wouldn't be talking to me right now. So do me a favour, and stop pretending that you do care," I said, and without waiting for a response, I walked away.
I was done with all these fake people.
Slightly furious, I entered the library but it almost immediately disappeared when I saw who was sitting at my usual table in the library. It was Jin and Yoongi.
I walked to the table with a confused expression on my face.
"What are you two doing here?" I asked carefully.
Jin was the first to speak. "You won't believe what Yoongi here did."
I looked to Yoongi with creased eyebrows and sat in the only other chair at the table, beside Jin.
"What did you do?"
