(A/N: *facepalm* So I only realized now, after a week, that I didn't post this yet smh. Anyways, hope you enjoy! ^^)

~~~~~~
Kim SeokJin. The most popular boy in school.
He was a model and everyone admired and looked up to him for his looks and confidence. Even his personality was perfect. He was nice to everyone. It'd always been that way. Since preschool already. Every guy wanted to be friends with him. Every girl wanted to be his.
I won't lie, at one point I was actually one of those girls. I mean, who wouldn't? He was perfect. But I realized it was stupid of me to even have crushes on people. People like me should never get their hopes up. I was no one. Even if sometimes in class, he was the only one who would defend me when people tried bullying me.
But still, here he was, standing before me. Although this time I wasn't happy to see him - he was the one who had broken into my garage and scratched through my father's old paper work.
Yoongi - who I had almost forgotten was standing right next to me - and I still stood frozen and wide-eyed staring at the one and only Kim Seok Jin. Of all people.
Jin let out a small charming laugh to break the silence. "Loosen up, would you?" He asked with a smirk. He seemed quite amused. He gave off such a different aura from what I'd known him to be for the past ten years I've known him. "I'm not part of the W52."
I felt a sense of relief and let out a breath and only then did I realize I'd been holding it the whole time. Yoongi was still tense.
"I don't trust you. Then why did you steal those?" Yoongi asked and for the first time I realized Jin had a pile of papers in his left hand.
"My mother," he said and gestured to me. "She worked with your father. They were partners. They both died by the hands of W52 that day." He looked to Yoongi. "Something we all have in common. I've been trying to find them ever since but I never had any luck." He smiled and then laughed. "But then I found you two. I was glad and followed you two for a while but honestly... You guys are utterly useless," he said seriously. He then turned to me. "Who leaves the fucking door open?!" He said.
Again, I'm not gonna lie. That really hurt me. My face immediately got hot and red. I quickly looked down, in the hopes they wouldn't notice, and apologized.
"So what?" Yoongi said. "We'll find another way, thanks. Without you."
"I highly doubt that," Jin said, holding up my dad's old notebooks. "Not without these."
"There's nothing in there. I looked through those already," I said.
"And you obviously knew nothing about your father's job. How useless are you?" Jin scoffed, tilting his head to the side.
I looked at him in confusion. Who was this I was talking to? This was not the Jin I knew. The Jin I knew was always so nice and caring.
"People like your dad coded their work. They wouldn't write all their details exactly as they are in there when there's a possibility somebody could steal it," Jin explained. "So instead of just writing Whalien 52, he gave it another name: Warners Bros." He showed us the book.
"How are you so sure it's that? It could be any other case in that book then," Yoongi said.
Jin scoffed. "What? You don't trust me? I know more about this than you or your girlfriend know," Jin said, gesturing to me with his head.
I was seriously going to punch someone. Why do people keep calling me his girlfriend??
Jin sighed and rolled his eyes before speaking again. "Whalien 52 had four owners. They were brothers. Just like the Warners Bros." Jin then looked to me. "That's why your father put all their information below Warners Bros. My mom did the same. And that's how I know," he said and looked to Yoongi.
Yoingi just stared at Jin for a long time before he finally decided to speak. "You're right. I don't trust you," Yoongi said.
"Whatever. I'd like to see you try getting anywhere without this book." Jin turned to leave. "I don't need you to trust me. But you need me."
"Do you even know who you're talking to?" Yoongi asked, agitated.
"Don't even try," Jin said, still walking on. "I know you didn't kill your father. I know your whole story. See ya," he said, his hand in the air as a goodbye.
"Wait!" The words left my mouth before I even realized it. Jin stopped.
I turned to Yoongi and gave him a pleading look. "Yoongi..." I said. "What if he's right?" I gritted my teeth before saying my next words. I hated to lose. "We do need him..."
It took him a while to answer. He looked to Jin. "Fine," he said. "What do you suppose we do then? Kim SeokJin." He said his name like he absolutely hated him.
He turned around, smiling a mischievous grin.
***
We ended up in Kim SeokJin's fancy looking car. We were going to the said address in the book underneath the name Warners Bros.
Yoongi sat in front, next to Jin who was driving and I was sitting in the back. I tried hard to stop my stomach from growling as I saw sweets and chocolates in the back seat next to me. I wondered what all the snacks were for.
The car suddenly swurved a bit, nothing serious, and I slid to one side as the bags of goods slid onto my lap. My eye immediately caught a box of Oreos and I gasped.
"OREOS!!" I exclaimed.
They both turned to look at me and yelled at me at the same time.
"Don't you dare eat that!" Jin said.
"Put on your seatbelt!" Yoongi said.
"I'm not a child!" I exclaimed to the both of them. "Don't treat me like one."
"Well you sure are acting like one," Yoongi said.
"You look like one too," Jin said, referring to my height.
I glared at him through his rear view mirror, hoping that lazers would shoot him through it.
We drove for a long while, until the streets started looking less crowded and the air got hotter. The ride so long I started to doze off and by the time I woke up again, though still half asleep and my head leaning against the window, I heard whispering.
"Just do it," Jin whispered angrily to Yoongi. "Grab to the box of Oreos from her. At least while she's still asleep."
I noticed I was still holding the box of Oreos on my lap and was practically hugging it.
"Why?" Yoongi argued. "I don't want to," he said. It was obvious he just wanted to make Jin mad.
Jin sighed angrily. "Ah, really now? You--"
"Y/n!" Yoongi yelled to me and I immediately shot up.
"H-huh?" I said, stunned.
"Can you give me that box of Oreos in your arms before Jin here starts crying?" Yoongi said, his arm stretched out to the back waiting for me to hand him the box.
"Yah! I'm not gonna cry. I'm just not okay with you holding my Oreos," Jin argued, looking at me through the rear view mirror.
"Why can't I just have some?" I asked, holding the box closer to my chest.
He stared at me frustrated and tilted his head. "Because it's mine," he said. He quickly turned around and grabbed the box from me. "Here, you keep it," he said, shoving the box into Yoongi's arms and looking back on the road.
Oh, so he trusted Yoongi more?
Yoongi sighed. "Don't you have any music?" He started playing with some buttons and Jin immediately hit his hand.
"Don't touch anything," he said and switched on the music himself.
When Jin seemed distracted enough, I noticed Yoongi opening the Oreo box and I grinned. Of course. He passed one Oreo to me and signalled for me to eat it. And I gladly did. Yoongi must have really hated Jin if he was being nice to me just to make Jin mad.
After about my third Oreo, Yoongi absently took one out and started nibbling on it.
"Y-yah!" Jin said, looking at Yoongi stunned and grabbed the box from him. He looked inside and then to the two of us, who both had an Oreo in our mouths. "Ah, seriously?" Jin looked up and sighed before looking back on the road and tossing the box onto Yoongi's chest. "Whatever. I can't wait to be done with you two," he said.
"Why did you even bring us with?" I asked. "You could've done this on your own."
He stayed quiet.
"He needs us," Yoongi said. "He just won't admit it."
Now that I thought about it, I guess he did. Like superheroes teaming up to fight a villain because only if they joined forces they'd be able to win. Yoongi had the strength, I had the skills, Jin had the information. That didn't stop me from thinking we were all still amateurs though.
"We're here," Jin said, pulling into the parking lot of a supermarket.
"This is a supermarket," I said.
"Thanks for stating the obvious," Jin said sarcastically and got out of the car.
Yoongi and I did the same and as soon as he locked the car, he said, "Follow me."
He waisted no time to walk off and we followed. We went around the supermarket and to the back. The place smelt of smoke from all of the workers on break that went for a smoke at the back. It was empty now though. He headed to a small staircase leading down to a cellar door. Yoongi froze.
"What is this place?" Yoongi asked.
Jin still walked down and ignored Yoongi's question.
"Yah!" Yoongi exclaimed and finally Jin looked to him. "What is this place?" He asked again.
"It seems like you already know," Jin said.
Jin was right. It did.
"Great," Jin said, satisfied and pretended to wipe fake dust off his hands. "Now I know." He flashed an evil grin to Yoongi.
"You sick bastard," Yoongi said and rushed over to Jin. "You only brought us with to get an reaction out of me." He grabbed Jin by the collar.
Jin only chuckled. "What else?" He said, unashamed and Yoongi only growled back. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I do need you two. I just needed to see your reaction so that I knew for sure that this was the place where four men died." Yoongi finally let go of his collar.
"Four? How do you know?" I asked.
"How do people know anything today?" Jin asked, turning to me. "It's called the internet. You should try it sometime," he remarked sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes.
"One of the four men was your father," Jin said turning back to Yoongi. "And the other three were supposedly three of the owners. The one that's still alive must've been the one to revive the business."
Yoongi and I both nodded, indicating we understood.
"What now?" I asked.
"We're going to sneak in for a while and see what we can find," Jin said.
"Are you crazy?" I asked. "What if they catch us?"
"If you're too scared, just go home, little girl," he mocked.
"We'll be fine, Y/n," Yoongi said. "You can wait up here."
"No!" I said, a bit too abruptly. "I-I'll go. I can do it." I stood ready to go in. "Let's do it."
They just shrugged. Jin proceeded to open the door and struggled for a bit, trying to push it open.
"It won't open," he said.
"It's locked, dimwit," I said, satisfied I could finally get him back. "Here, let me," I said, pushing past him. In the corner of my eye I could see Yoongi grinning and a clicking sound from Jin's tongue was heard.
I picked the lock with ease as it was something I was already quite used to and good at. As soon as it was unlocked I gave them a knowing look and stepped aside for Jin to go in first.
He walked through the door and I followed, Yoongi being the last to walk inside. From the cellar door was there only more stairs to walk down and the only light was the one coming from the cellar door which was left open. The stairs creaked with every footstep and I hoped it wouldn't be heard by whoever was down here.
