Mia smiled as she stood up and held out her hand to the blonde man, "If anyone's gonna need a medical, it's gonna be you, old man."

Steve grinned as he took her hand to pull himself up, "We'll see about that when we get to the jet. Or rather when your soulmates realize you've been reckless when you specifically promised them you wouldn't."

Mia glanced at him as they walked past through the snowy forest, "I haven't been reckless."

"Mia, you've been shot, stabbed, jumped off a cliff, and slightly tortured all because you told a man to and I quote 'suck his own dick' after he tried to kiss you."

"You're being dramatic. Besides, it wasn't just me. They found out who we were from your stupid old ass."

Steve grumbled as he threw another snowball at her, "I'm gonna tell Elijah you purposely got shot!"

"Oh, I would. And I will gladly watch as he scolds you with words you don't care to understand for hours on end."

"Language!"

Just as he was about to yell at her again, another shot went off.

Mia sped in front of Steve and tackled him to the ground, stopping the bullet from tearing into his skin, "Maybe we shouldn't have started yelling," She muttered.

"You think?" Steve asked as he glanced up from the tree they were hiding behind and saw only five men.

"There aren't many. It's probably just perimeter control."

Mia grinned slightly, "I am a little hungry... Might want to close those eyes, Steven."

The blonde man rolled his eyes but pulled out his phone nonetheless and began texting Bucky, "Call me when you're done eating."

The vampire grinned, her fangs on display, before she took off at the guards.

Five minutes later, her chin was covered in blood and there were five very dead bodies on the ground as she walked back to Steve.

Steve glanced up as he stood and grimaced, "You made a mess, doll."

After an hour they had finally gotten back to the quinjet. Steve had quickly powered it up before they started their flight back to New York.

After setting the jet on autopilot he walked back to Mia, "You alright? Any bullets in ya?"

Mia glanced down and shimmied a little before looking back up, "No. What about you? Are you still frozen?"

He chuckled as he sat down tiredly, "Still slowly defrosting."

She grinned, "I'm sure Bucky will be happy to help with that when we get back."

Steve blushed again, "Do you have to make dirty jokes so often?"

"I'm legally required to make at least twelve every 24 hours. Besides, I could have done much worse. I could have said-"
