The truth was about to be revealed , the mask turhan has been wearing for years is ready to fall down infront of everyone . I was right since the beginning , ever since i heard her years ago plot against my father i kept my eyes on her but could never prove anything .

But now , it was different , very much . This woman was about to pay for her mistakes today and all of this was going to be over .
My heart was racing and my body was still weak from what i undergone last night but i didn't care , i had to take matters into my hands.

I walked in the palace and it suddenly felt suffocating , the walls were dripping of blood of innocent people and the voices were intensifying in my head . What was this ?

I stood firm on my feet and went straight to turhan's room pushing the door open , i didn't even wait for her approval to get in which caught her off guard .

« What is happening here » she stood up from her seat as i interrupted her conversation with her son .

« You dirty filthy woman , you killer » i yelled at her « you tried to kill me and my father , but this time you're not getting away with it » she looked at her son for support and he came standing infront of her shielding her from my anger .

« How dare you speak to my mother like this ? » He talked back as he eyed me up and down angrily , i didn't even care he was the crown prince .

« Get out of my way » i grabbed turhan's arm and yanked her to the side « you will pay for every single tear i dropped and every suffering i endured » i shouted at her again .

« Because of you , and everything you did to get me out of your way i cannot become a mother anymore » she looked at me with wide eyes and her son stared at her unbelievably.

« What ? » he looked at his mother and at me again « what are you even accusing my mother for ? do you have proof or you're just speaking out of your hatred » i was getting more impatient with ibrahim i felt my anger increasing even more .

I was starting to see blurry images and my sight was distorted by the anger i was feeling .

« Attention Sultan Selim Khan » the three of us heard the agha say from afar , how did the news get to him this fast ?

« What is this ? do you realise that your voice reached the whole palace ? » Selim entered turhan's room and we all bowed down to him as he saw what state all of us were in .

« This woman right here is the one behind my father's poisoning , she wanted to kill him and- » i couldn't continue what i had to say , or i would break down in tears « I have proof your majesty and i can show you that » Selim looked at me , but i couldn't know exactly what was behind that look .

« Father for how long will you continue believing her ? she always attacks my mother and you do nothing but side with her » Ibrahim defended his mother but Selim raised his hand to stop ibrahim from uttering another word

« You don't speak to me like that » he scolded him and ibrahim immediately shuts up letting me continue speaking .

« Yesterday , a woman tried to kill my father inside his room and i came right in time and saved him . after i interrogated her she admitted that turhan sent her » Selim listened to me carefully trying to understand every word i was saying .

Turhan stood there not knowing what to say , her eyes darting away from us .

"Where is this woman ? is she here did you bring her with you ?" i nodded as he asked and turned around to let the aghas bring her in .

The woman looked defeated and her expressions were numb , i think she had fully understood and absorbed the gravity of her actions .

"Tell them everything" i said as the aghas  tried to steady her on her feet , all of us stared at the woman and waited for her to speak .

"Your majesty i-" she stuttered when she realised in whose presence she was "Everything hiranur sultan said is true"

my heart felt relieved when she finally said the truth . "Turhan sultan sent me to kill ibrahim pasha" I looked at turhan who now had a mortified look on her face , she couldn't even speak or defend herself .

" and .. i killed hiranur sultan's unborn child i am so sorry your majesty . You have all the right to take my life" the woman was now on her knees crying , i looked at selim who looked at me confused .

"What child ? what is she talking about" he asked now growing more concerned , i didn't want to talk about this . Not infront of everyone but i had to answer

" I had a miscarriage yesterday because of her - i didn't know and now i can't have children anymore" the heavy weight on my heart dropped when i finally admitted what i had been through.

Selim's face changed drastically, from a confused to a serious to an angry face . i didn't know what he was about to do at that moment

"I didn't send her to do any of this your majesty please believe me" Turhan finally spoke when she realised that her actions aggravated everything .

" You're done" Selim screamed at her " Aghas take this woman out of my sight and throw her in the dungeons until i decide her fate" he looked so furious as he signaled to the guards to take the girl away .

"Ibrahim leave this room , Hiranur you too" I looked at him and immediately bowed down and left , now that he was sure about her real intentions and her schemes i can finally back down and let her get the punishment she deserves

When the door closed behind me and ibrahim he immediately started to pace around in panic .

"Everything would've been different if you were my son , you didn't deserve such a mother" i said when he stopped pacing around , that stopped him in his tracks .

I excpected an answer but he didn't , he just looked down and slammed his fists on the wall .

"Mother" i heard orhan call for me from the other side of the hallway , i turned around and saw him standing there .

"Orhan" i called as i walked towards him , i immediately pulled him in my embrace and hugged him tightly . "you're here" i kissed his cheek and smelled his scent .

"My beautiful son , i have missed you" He kissed my hand and held it between his palms .

"You're the one that lightens this doomed and dark palace , there's nothing without you" i almost melted by his words , i wouldn't trade my son for the world . He was everything to me

" I came back for you, nothing will seperate me from you and your siblings anymore . Turhan is now gone forever from our lives" i reassured him as my other hands found his face .

" the nightmare is over this woman will leave" he looked over my shoulder and noticed ibrahim still standing there facing the wall .

"it's not really over yet when he's still around" he said not taking his eyes off his older brother . "he is your brother don't forget that , his mother is the one that poisoned his mind"

Before Orhan could answer me , turhan's door was yanked open brutally as selim walked out of it out of breath and raging .

Turhan's sobs could be heard from where i was standing , i didn't feel bad for her at all . this was me ever since she poisoned my marriage and my family , she was going to feel exactly what i felt

"Father" Ibrahim tried to speak to Selim but he ignored him and walked past him. " Hiranur follow me" he spoke to me and i immediately followed leaving orhan behind me .

I walked along with selim and he entered my chambers , when we got inside he immediately hugged me .

"I am so sorry , incredibly sorry my love" he whispered as he hugged me tight , i couldn't help but let myself go. knowing that i've wanted to cry the whole day maybe this was the moment for it .

"I couldn't protect you and my child i can never forgive myself for that" he continued as he placed kisses on my head holding me in place .

"She will be punished , don't worry about her or anyone else . i want you to worry about yourself , i am not sure how you're feeling now but -" He grabbed my shoulders and looked at me in the eyes enventually breaking the hug .

" I don't know .. i feel broken , helpless . even if justice is served i don't think i will get back to my state . not after all what happened" i opened my heart to him voicing my real feelings .

"I know it's hard for you but please don't let it for once make you think you're not enough" he put a hand on my waist and the other one was resting on my cheek .

"You gave me the best blessings i could ask for , two brave princes and two beautiful sultanas" he continued making sure i was grasping the meaning of his words .

" what can a miserable man like me ask for ? i wouldn't dare to do so" his finger gently touched my chin . "You're perfect , in every way possible" i felt tears forming in my eyes .

He spoke so beautifully that at some point i couldn't hold back my tears anymore .

"I don't know what to say .." he interrupted me "don't say anything , i just want you to listen" he got closer to me and pulled me close so that his breath was tickling my face .

"You're my wife , the mother of my children and i vowed to be your partner for life and god curse me if i dare to look at another woman other than you" he looked at my eyes with such affection and love i was lost in his words .

" You're everything to me , we'll stay together until death do us apart understand me ?" i nodded after his words slowly as his words were banding my wounds .

My heart felt healed from his affirmations , it felt like i needed to hear those words and that it was all i wanted from the beginning .

"Now wipe your tears away and get some rest" he brushed my hair off my face and kissed me passionately .

I missed him so much , so much that i am just realising how long we haven't been this close .

"I will rest and comeback to you again , this time stronger" he smiled at my words and kissed my forehead gently .

" This is what i want to hear from you . you're my strong wife , the sultans wife and you will always find a way to get back to your old self" he finally stepped away leaving my with an emptiness and kissed my hands gently .

"I love you so much my dear" he whispered before walking towards the door not breaking eye contact with me , when the door closed behind him i felt relieved , much better than how i was when i stepped inside .

He knew how to change my perpective on things and fix my heart the right way
