it was already nighttime and we were still with my father , after a lot of effort we sat him down a little bit so he can change his position a bit .

"I guess it is time to leave him rest a little bit right now?" my mother suggested as we were all sitting around him happily .

He could only speak few words but not much so he doesn't tire himself more than he should . i got close to him and kissed his hand

"There is nothing i can ask for , all i wanted was to see you healthy" he put his hand over my head gently and stroked my hair .

"I need to talk to you" my father whispered to me as the others were talking about what food they should prepare for him . i raised my head in confusion and i could sense the urge and stress in his face .

"We can talk later after you get better okay ? i don't want you to tire yourself more than you should" i caressed his hand and put it away , he closer his eyes in agreement and i knew what he was going to say was not to be taken lightly .

I had the impression he was going to confess about this whole situation, was he going to give me a hint on who did this to him ? the only thing i could do is wait which was what i did .

We left my father rest a bit and let my mom feed him as my son was starting to get sleepy , it was already past his bedtime. i went downstairs and spotted the same girl i saw earlier , she looked so pale and so tense .

i had a feeling about her , something was off . she was not behaving normally like the others , i have decided to give her a duty and see what happens .

" Prepare rooms for me and my children we are staying here tonight" i ordered her as i looked at ahmet who was already sleeping on the couch .

She stared at me and left quickly without further questions , my mother came back downstairs and i asked her .

"From where did you get this girl ? how did she end up here ?" i asked as i showed her the girl from earlier walking around .

"Did you forget ? you're the one who sent her here" my mother admitted as she went to sit in the living room , her statement shocked me .

i didn't send anyone though

"I am sure i didn't send anyone , who told you that ?" i asked her and she looked at me in disbelief, "what do you mean by that ?" she asked and i started to recall .

I am sure i have never sent anyone here , why would this woman come here ? and lie about me sending her here ?

I kept thinking about all possible scenarios and theories , my doubts started doubling when my mom confirmed she came here right when my dad fell ill .

Could she be in relation with what happened ? is she implied or has a hand in this ? this is what i wanted to find out but not now . i needed to know where she came from and who sent her and what are her motives

i can't show her my intentions nor show that i suspect her , but tonight i will definitely catch something about her .

"Your highness , your rooms are ready" she walked towards us and announced ," carry the little prince to his room i will be there" i saw her as she carried ahmet away while hatice and gevher trailed behind them .

" I can't believe how much you've grown and how much my grandkids have" my mom said from afar and i turned around to look at her "you're right , remember those stairs" i laughed as i recalled the first time i saw selim.

"Who can forget about it" she laughed along as i took a seat next to her " time flies very fast i can't even recall how my grandkids grew"

"Speaking of them , aren't you planning to become a mother again" she lightly brushed my shoulder and then laughed " No , im fine just like this , four are hard to manage and to equally give attention to" my sister joined us after she left my dad's side .

"He's asleep now" she joined us and sat next to my mom from the other side so she was in the middle . "i'm glad he is , i'm glad you both are here" she put both her arms over us and brought us close to her .

"i love you both so much" she whispered as we snuggled in her embrace . we stayed like that for some time before i felt myself falling asleep .

Hatice and Gevher came in "Mom , we put ahmet to sleep and we are heading too" Gevher announced as they both looked at us from afar .

"Good night" they spoke in unison as they turned their backs to go sleep . "i guess i am going to sleep too" i announced as i struggled to get out of my mother's embrace .

" I've got to be ready for tomorrow as i might get some new revelations" i announced speaking about the girl from earlier , i was king to be busy with her tomorrow and get something from her .

" Goodnight , sleep well" my mother told me as i was heading towards my room , my old room where i spent most of my life in .

I changed into my sleepwear and went to take a look over my father , i slowly peeked out and i saw something very unusual .

the girl from earlier was standing by my father's head staring at him , what were her intentions ? i was scared she was going to do something but still i stood there waiting for a movement from her .
