After the agha announced her arrival , i felt even more jealous . the fact that he never gifted his works to anyone but me reassured me at first but now he chose to design something for her and gift it , i decided to just brush it off . I was not about to get insecure because of that right ?

« Let her in then » Selim ordered the man and i kept looking at the door waiting for her to appear , the woman stepped in elegantly . i never talked about women's beauty but this woman was just out of the world , she was really pretty .

« Your highness » she bowed in curtsy and looked at us in the eyes , she looked confused when she saw me as if she was not excpecting me to be there .

« Princess Monica , welcome to the palace i hope the road wasn't very tiring » Selim asked her and she smiled , i was studying the tension between them and i knew i shouldn't do that but i couldn't help it .

« Thank you , your highness it is really pretty here and i look forward to staying here » She looked around and then stopped midway to look at me .

« This is my wife , hiranur sultan and she will keep you company while you're here so you don't need to worry about being lonely » He introduced me to her and i felt her tense up when she heard the word wife , she had to .

« It is a pleasure to meet you your highness » she smiled at me and i nodded in response .

« I guess you are tired , let me take you to the harem » I just wanted to get her out of here , i couldn't stand her being here with him in the same room .

« I'll see you tonight then princess monica , rest well and don't be shy to ask for anything that will make you feel comfortable » i glared at him , why did he care ? and why were they meeting at night .

« Come on » i snapped out of my thoughts and showed her the way , she left and i stayed to exchange with selim some few words .

« Are you hosting her for dinner tonight ? » i asked curiously and he nodded after me .

« Yes i am , she will tell me about herself and her story in detail so we can help her » he didn't mention the word She will tell us , so it meant they were gonna have dinner together .

« Fine then .. i'll see you later your majesty » i bowed down to him and joined monica who was waiting for me in the door .

« Queen hiranur right ? » she asked and i could barely understand her , since she couldn't speak out language really well .

« We don't have queen here , it's sultan . it's different than europe » i corrected her as i walked her to the harem .

« So you are one of his majesty's slaves? » i don't know but her question angered me , i mean everything she says makes me mad but this ..

« No i am not , i am the daughter of the vizir . and i am not a slave »i answered her with a harsh tone and i think she understood what her words meant .

« But it's common here right ? do you share his highness with a lot of women ? because in our kingdom we don't » This woman knew how to get on my nerves , did she ask this just to make me mad ? but i was going to play her game

« No , i don't because his highness is married to me only and he never looked at another woman other than me . we love eachother so he doesn't seek it in others . He knows my worth and i know his » She nodded after me and seemed to get it , i hope she doesn't ask me something else because i was close to shut her up .

« Me and his majesty have four children together , they will be excited to see you . you can spend time with them before you leave » i told her right when we arrived infront of her assigned room .

« Thank you for your kind hospitality » she said as she looked at her room , i got closer to her and put my hand on her shoulder .

« Enjoy your stay here and if you need anything , tell me not his majesty okay ? » i had to be clear with her so she knows her limits , she chuckled and looked at my hand .

« Of course » i smiled and turned my back to leave « Have a good evening » i told her before i left her room , i stood infront of it and breathed heavily .

« You there » i called a concubine i saw from far away , she came running towards me and bowed down to me « Summon sumbul to my room immediately » She bowed down again and left while i walked towards my room .

Ahmet was sitting in the salon and he immediately stood up when i walked in .

« Mother , i've missed you » he hugged my waist and i smiled , i was angry before i walked in but when he hugged me i felt much better and light .

« Aren't you supposed to be in your sword training ? » i got to his level and he put his hand on my cheek as he traced my cheek with his small finger .

« I didn't want to , i am tired . »my eyes snapped open and i tried to check his temperature . « Why didn't you tell me this in the morning ? » i noticed that his temperature was high and i immediately called in the girls guarding my door .

« Bring a doctor immediately » i got up and made him sit down on the cushion waiting for the doctor .

« I feel good mom don't worry , i am a strong man » his smile radiated like a sun and i couldn't help but smile even if i was worried about his health .

« I know that but still you have to check what is wrong » My door opened but it was sumbul this time , i looked at him dissapointed .

« My beautiful sultana , şehzadem » he walked in and bowed to both of us , i looked at ahmet one last time .

« Sumbul come over here » i took him to the corner of my room so ahmet doesn't here what we're saying . he followed me without saying a word

« Look , assign a concubine an agha , a vizir , a cat , anyone that will follow that princess around . i want to know everything , what she eats , where she goes , who does she talk to and if she sees his majesty most importantly » Sumbul seemed concerned because i've never asked him something like this , he looked around and coughed .

« Sultana did she do something to you? » i rolled my eyes « Do what i told you , and if she ever steps in selim's room without me knowing i'd destroy this palace over your head » i threatened him and he nodded after me.

The doctor came in and it was a sign for sumbul to leave , he bowed down again and left my room . i had another concern and it was my son's health
