The day has come , the biggest day of my life has come . my wedding day .

My mother and tons of maids she brought woke up early to do my makeup and help me get dressed in my long red gown that fit me just perfectly . my hair was straightened and a crown was placed on my head .

"Hiranur you look absolutely amazing , the prettiest bride" my mother walked behind me and put her hands on my waist before turning me around carefully .

"May god enlighten your path and make you live only beautiful things" a tear escaped her eyes and that's when i realised that this was the end of my life with my mother .

"Come on don't let the carriage wait" my mother wiped her tear away and opened the door . the girls put the veil over my head and walked me down the stairs carefully , i looked over at my house and i remembered all of my moments here it felt surreal that i was leaving .

The main entrance door opened and there was my carriage waiting for me and so many royal guards , they helped me get in the carriage and closed it behind me .

i took few breaths before the carriage moved , my heart was racing because in the same moment my dad was approving my marriage in the palace . i was officially married to sultan selim right now , i was the second woman to marry a sultan .

the carriage kept moving and i opened the curtain a little bit when i heard people chanting outside and music playing .

the whole capital was outside celebrating our wedding , drums , chants everything was on point just like planned .

it took us some extra time to get to the palace since it was so crowded . the carriage opened and i took a step outside with a shaky breath because i was all alone , i looked behind me and so many people were standing there and cheering . I made my way to the palace followed by so many maids and made my way to the valide sultan's room .

she was standing along with mihrimah and a girl who was obviously mihrimah's daughter and two other women who looked like sultanas .

I bowed down to them and walked towards Sah sultan and kissed her hand .

"Congratulations, and welcome to our family hiranur" mihrimah grabbed my hand and caressed it gently .

"Congratulations" one of the two women said and i just bowed down to her because i assumed she was a sultana " I am Fatma sultan , sister of the late sultan".

"Very glad to meet you sultana" i looked over at the other one who introduced herself to me "I am beyhan sultan" i bowed to her too before sah sultan offered me a seat next to her .

Music started and so many girls entered and started dancing while i just noticed many women seated around tables with food , they were important guests .

suddenly the door opened and my mother and sister entered , my mom had a very proud grin on her face while my sister looked constipated .

they came close to us and bowed down to the sultanas before sitting in our table , we started talking while enjoying the food who was so delicious .

"This is the happiest the palace has been since humasah was born" mihrimah looked over at her daughter who squinted her eyes in response .

"i was still a child when my mom brought me to your wedding sultana i don't remember anything but i heard it was very beautiful" mihrimah smiled widely while nodding

"Indeed my late father and mother made sure everything was perfect may they rest in peace" everyone followed her with an amin as she remembered her parents .

Everyone started talking except for my sister who didn't move an inch every since we sat down , she still thinks i did that to her to get here but it wasn't true at all . i was doing all of this for my father

They served us tea and suddenly sah sultan called Mercan who had a box in his hands , he brought it to sah sultan .

"This is a gift from me to you hiranur" Sah sultan ordered him to open the box and it was the prettiest necklace i've ever seen .

it had a diamond in the middle who shined brightly , she put it around my neck and i thanked her . while the other sultanas had told me that all of my gifts were in my room .

i felt very spoiled and pumped , it took me back to when i was a child .

the evening went by slowly as i kept answering questions and getting congratulations from everywhere until it was time for me to walk to the harem and distribute gold to all the girls .

All of the sultanas including my mother and sister walked to the harem since the dinner was in sah sultans room , we looked at them from the top and the music stopped .

Everyone noticed our presence and bowed down to us .

"Mercan distribute them and give us some" mercan who stood not very far from up ordered the aghas who were down to give the girls bag of coins before he handed us gold coins in our hands .

We started throwing them from the top and everyone hurried towards the ones we were throwing , the girls started thanking us and congratulating me but seriously i was so tired .

"Mercan how is it going for the sultan ?" Mihrimah sultan asked him and he got close to us

" they have finished dinner sultana" he answered before mihrimah nodded and looked at me .

"Prepare everything just like we planned okay?" she ordered him and he bowed down to her before leaving us .

"Come on hiranur i think it's time for you to get changed" Sah sultan looked at me and i nodded .

the other sultanas were still throwing gold and chatting with each other , i took that as an opportunity to leave with my mother and mihrimah .

They walked me to my room and each step we took made us get far from the noise and loud music , my room's door opened and there were so many stuff there , so many gifts on my bed .

"Your room is so beautiful" my mother said while walking around the room .

" Come on i will call the girls to help you take this off and wear the other one " with that mihrimah called in some girls who helped me undress .

I slipped in a beautiful red dress who was very puffy who flattered my body very much .

"Sultana it feels like this one was made for me" i laughed as i turned around the mirror .

"Maybe it was" she laughed too while she brushed my hair , mihrimah was really sweet and her small gestures were what made her special .

I got seated and so many hands were touching me , makeup , hair , perfume , jewerlies . for the first time i felt special and important

i was a sultana , half one because i didn't have a child yet . But i had so much power now , it's not that i care but it feels surreal .

i was too absorbed in my own thoughts that i just realised that they put the veil on my face , my heart started racing when the door opened and my mom grabbed my shoulder making me turn around .

"It's going to be okay" with that she let go of my hand and i nodded before her .

Mercan agha guided the way as five girls followed me behind , we were getting closer to selims room and my head was starting to spin and i felt so uneasy .

I didn't want anything bad to happen . we were finally infront of his door , mercan looked over at me and i stared back at him .

" Go in sultana" the two aghas standing there put their hands on the knobs and opened the door .

That's it there was no escape from this . I saw selims figure standing in the middle of his room and i took two steps in . they were enough for the guards to close the door behind me  .

I swallowed the lump i had in my throat and bowed down to him .

"Come in" his voice finally said and i took few steps towards him until the distance between us was easy to break .

I looked at him through my veil and god he looked so beautiful especially with the moonlight hitting his face .

My heart started beating faster and faster as he put his hands on my veil to get it off my face . he started moving it slowly until it was over my head , he dropped it gently before his finger traced my face until it stopped to lips .

shivers were sent down my spine and i stared to feel more nervous each second i felt like my legs were not going to hold me anymore , as he leaned in for a kiss i shut my eyes because i've never been this close to any man before .

I accepted the kiss and then the night went on with no awkwardness . i didn't faint , fall or break my ankle this time
