The blonde was tossing and turning in his bed. Something felt different. He reached for the closest thing and pulled it closer. His eyes shot open. He was holding a pillow.

He tossed the pillow and jumped out of bed. He started searching his apartment. "(Y/N)? (Y/N)!" He cried out in every room. Now the ex-bartender was growing scared. His heart raced at the thought of his girl missing. His mind conjured up all the worst scenarios: maybe she got hurt or kidnapped or those damn punks might have her or worse that damn flea has her. His heart quickened with these thoughts.

Shizuo couldn't take it anymore; he was going to find her himself. He was headed outside until he was stopped by someone at his door. "Shizu-chan~!" The female exclaimed. "(Y/N)." The blonde was a bit relieved seeing her face. "Um, Shizuo." The girl noticed his agitated expression. "Are you okay?" She asked. "I thought that damn flea, had you. I was going to look for you and beat the sh-" "Like that?" (Y/N) inquired and pointed at his 'outfit'. Shizuo looked down and realized he was only in boxer briefs.

His blush instantly grew ten shades darker. "Yeah. That's what I thought, so can you please move aside so I can put the stuff down." She said gesturing with the bags. For the first time, Shizuo realized that (Y/N) was holding a bag of groceries. He felt a bit embarrassed by the situation, so he took the bags. "Honestly Shizu-chan you're so overprotective." She commented to which he responded with a grunt. he set the items down and moved towards her.

She smiled at seeing her boyfriend towering over her. he pulled her closer and buried his face in her hair. "Come on get dressed." She complained. He shook his head, then his hand went to her arse and squeezed it. "Hey!" She squealed and playfully hit him. "Alright, I'm gonna take a shower." He uttered after tousling (Y/N)'s hair. When the blonde returned, (Y/N) was preparing something. He observed her with curiosity. The tall man took a seat and studied her actions. She started cutting up strawberries and setting them aside. "Whatcha making?" He asked as he reached for a strawberry.

She just lightly tapped his nose and responded. "It's a surprise." He scoffed but still smiled. She proceeded to pour the batter into the pan. She grinned at the strong man's face of astonishment when she flipped the yummy treat. (Y/N) took out the treat very meticulously and repeated the steps.

Once out the crepes were placed on a plate and filled with delicious strawberries. She folded them very carefully and went on to decorate them with powder sugar and chocolate. "Done!" She chimed and handed her masterpiece to her boyfriend. "Thanks." He replied dryly but smiling inwardly. He started eating while the girl made herself some too. "What's the occasion, anyway?" (Y/N) took a seat and took a bite of her creation. After she chewed she responded. "For doing such a good job last night." And continued eating.

Shizuo instantly blushed at the memory of last night. "Idiot." He said still with an apparent blush and flicked her forehead. She went toward him and slipped her arms around his neck. "I love you too." She muttered against his neck. "Shuddup." He mumbled and pushed her face away with his big hand. "Hey!" She protested, and he just chuckled at her reaction.

Yeah, he loved this. That's what let him get through the whole day, even Izaya. He finally had someone to go back to and live for. It sounded cheesy, but he didn't care, it's not like he was going to tell her anyway. No way, too embarrassing. "Hey, Shizuo." She giggled. "You have some chocolate on the corner of your mouth." "Huh?" He expressed when snapped out of his thought. "Yeah, right there." She pointed out and leaned in. She licked the corner that had chocolate and Shizuo grabbed the back of her head and kissed her.

Somehow throughout the whole kissing, (Y/N) ended up on Shizuo's lap. "Hey is there still some left?" He grinned. She playfully hit him and landed back in his arms. There was absolutely no one he rather is right now.
