Upon hearing the call of the last piece on the mainland, the crew attack Port Royal, kidnapping Governor Swann's daughter, Elizabeth in the process. But little do they know the kidnapping has not gone unnoticed by one of Elizabeth's admirers, Will Turner, who vows to find her and return her to Port Royal safely, forging an unlikely alliance with another pirate along the way.

But when Will and Octavia's paths finally cross, and the borders between land and sea collide, will they stay on their original quests and cross swords, or will something more draw them closer together in a way that neither of them expected?

A/n: After six years, I finally decided to go back to the fandom that got me into writing fanfiction in the first place! It feels like only yesterday 15-year-old me was sitting at my desk, secretly writing plots and pretending to listen to my Algebra teacher. Now, at 20, turning 21 later this year, I finally decided I was ready to revisit the fandom that started it all, and add my Will Turner x OC story to the fanfiction library! Keep in mind, I'm currently in the process of rewatching the movies, so if I miss any key parts of the original plot, I'll go back and edit them. Also to clarify, this story will be split into two books, with Curse of The Black Pearl and Dead Man's Chest in this one, and At World's End and Dead Men Tell No Tales in the second one.
