Liza checked for the fifth time.
"yes, mum."

"we're picking you two up at one o'clock !"
Henry called out, but quickly realized that they hadn't heard him, and shrugged.
"oh, well.."

Della squeezed her brother's hand gently as they entered their school.
"welcome back !"
Everyone cheered, greeting the two siblings.

Della seemed happy, as she knew that the news of their mother's arrest had gone viral. However, Noah seemed confused, merely smiling as he didn't want any attention after the incident.

"we're sorry we were so mean to you. Mind if we start over ?"
One of Noah's bullies said. Noah shook his head as if he didn't mind.
"no, not at all.."

He replied, squeezing his sister's hand.

When they reached Noah's classroom, Della turned to him, and smiled.

"bye, Noah."

She replied, hugging him tightly. He hugged her back, his face snuggling into her neck as he realized that he didn't want to let go.

Noah barely smiled, and turned to enter his classroom. Della waved at him, then walked away, heading for her classroom, knowing that a new adventure awaits her.
