He ran towards her, and hugged her tightly.
"Della.."
But she pushed him away coldly.
He was shocked, because the Della he knew would hug him back.

He whispered "What..?", then he spoke out loud, his voice cracking.
"Della, do you remember me ?"
She stared at him coldly.

"Of course I do ! You're the person I loved the most, and counted on in everything, and trusted you with my life. But then you abandoned me like I was no one ! You left me. All this time I meant nothing to you !"

His heart broke, and tears started to fill his eyes.
He never thought she would feel that way.
"It's not like that..please let me explain. I never meant to-"

She cut him off harshly.
"Yeah right. You cared so much that you didn't even visit me in the hospital, you didn't even bother to look for me, and didn't even want to see me anytime these past 4 years. No, Noah. I don't want to hear your explanation. In fact, I never want to see you face ever again."

She spoke harshly, his lips trembled as he tried to talk back, to tell her that it wasn't his fault.
"Della.."
She pushed his shoulder with force, and walked away, not even bothering to look back.

He felt hot tears streaming down his face, and started running back to his house. He just wanted to be in his room.

As he entered the house, he heard his mum's voice.
"Noah, Honey. Did you enjoy your walk ?"
He didn't want her to worry, so he wiped away his tears, and tried to steady his voice.

"Y-Yes, I did. Thank you, if you need me I'll be in my room."
He climbed the stairs quickly, entered his room, and shut the door.
Then started to tear up again.

( Trigger warning, Caution needed. )

"I had to.."
He saw the blade on the table, covered with some papers, and he remembered last time.

Flashback :

"Oh my God, you're useless. What do you even do with your life ?"
"He just makes everyone around him ashamed of him."
"You're worthless. Why are you here anyway ? You should go kill yourself."

End of Flashback :

"I'm worthless."
He whispered, and pointed the blade above his wrist, sobbing.
Then started to cut.

In Another Place :

"Hey, Honey. I noticed that you were a little upset since you came back from your walk. Is there anything you want to tell me ?"

"No, it's nothing, Dad."
She said, and gave him a small fake smile.
"You sure ?"

She nodded.
"Okay, well, as you know, I'm going to attend this forum for 2 weeks in Berlin, and I don't want to leave you alone. So I need you to come with me."

He said softly.
She nodded.
"Okay, when are we going ?"
"Next week."

She nodded again, smiling.

"It will be fun."
He smiled back.
