The Next Day :

"Della, I'm going to go get some homework from a friend, and I'll be back in an hour or so."
Noah spoke quickly as he put on his sneakers.

"okay, take care of yourself."
She replied softly, hugging him tightly.
"see you."
She watched as her brother opened the front door and walked out.

There was something weird about seeing him leave, and she couldn't figure out what it was. However, she let the feeling go as she approached the family room on the second floor, turning on their smart television.

Choosing to pass the time, she decided to watch a horror movie.

15 Minutes Later :

During the horror movie, Della seemed too focused on what might happen next that she almost didn't hear the front door opening.

"..Noah ? Are you home ?!"
She called out, her eyes glued to the screen. She expected Noah to call back at her, telling her that he's home, even though he wasn't late like he said he would be.

But he didn't.

All she heard was a sound of someone creeping through their living room.

She sighed heavily as she paused the movie, then decided to leave the family room and investigate.

She went out of the room, through the big hallway.
"hello ? Who's there ?"
She asked loudly, walking slowly down the stairs.

As her vision cleared, she saw a person at the bottom of the staircase, whom their intention was to head upstairs.
Where she was.

She focused more on the intruder, figuring out that it was a woman.
Then the view of that woman shocked her.
Short brown hair, green eyes, casual clothes.

The lady that she hit accidentally that day at the park.

"y-you ?"
Della said in shock.

"surprise, bitch.."
The lady said bitterly as she ran quickly up the stairs. Della tried to run away, towards her room. But the lady pulled her by her hair towards her as she screamed. And then pulled out something from her pocket.

The young girl didn't have time to see what it was, because she felt sharp pain searing through her neck. Her struggle stopped as she groaned in pain, and her vision turned to darkness.

In Another Place :

Noah received a notification as he hurried to the park. He let out his phone from his pocket, and unlocked it.
Changed my mind at the last minute, can you meet me at Rosewood avenue ?
His friend, Eric asked through the message.

But that way I'll have to go through the forest, are you sure ?
Noah typed back.

Of course, he didn't get an answer.

He sighed heavily, and changed his way to Rosewood Avenue.

...

"Della..? Della, wake up..come on."
Della opened her eyes to meet Liza's gaze. She glanced around her, only to find herself in her room. But she was lying on the floor.

"she- she drugged me..!"
Liza seemed concerned.
"who is it, Della ? Tell me."

"I..don't know ! But she must be after Noah, too. I have to find him."

Liza stood confused as she saw Della running out of the house.
