𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲'𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬

"Mya!"

The small ravenette's head whipped around at the sound of the familiar voice.

"Innie!"

The girlfriend lept up from where she was sitting and practically shot right into her boyfriend's arms.

Jeongin and Mya had made plans for a date today which would start off with Jeongin picking Mya up from the dorms.

The two of them would get bubble tea and then walk around the mall, just using this time to spend it together.

And of course, everything was going to plan...

Until Mya who for the first time in forever had slept in.

The girl was always proud of her stable sleep schedule; in fact it was something she consistently bragged about to the other members.

10:30 pm (12 at the latest) and she was asleep. 6 am (5 at the earliest) and she was awake.

But the night before, Mya had been binge watching her favourite anime and she may or may not have just been too obsessed with the show to notice that it was already 2 am.

"I'm sorry Jeongin, I slept in," Mya sighed, disappointed. "And now my make up isn't even done."

Jeongin shrugged and went to sit on the edge of her bed.

"I really don't mind, I'm with you after all," the boy said nonchalantly.

Mya blushed, happy and flustered.

She had been worried since she woke up so late. As idols, time to date was extremely little and she had been worried she messed up their date.

In all of her panic trying to get ready, she had forgotten to mention to Jeongin that she would be a little late. When she had heard the doorbell, she was almost sent into a frenzy as she realized her make up still wasn't done.

"Actually, love, I seen a make up style on my Instagram the other day and I saved it because I thought it would look beautiful on you. Can I... can I do it for you?" Jeongin offered.

Mya's jaw nearly dropped to the floor as her cheeks flushed an even brighter red.

"O-of course you can!" Mya finally managed to get out. "I'll just sit still and not move."

Jeongin smiled softly at the girl and patted a spot on the bed next to him.

Mya picked up her make up bag as she also grabbed her phone before making her way onto the bed.

Once she sat down, the girl placed a quick kiss on Jeongin's cheek before tying her long hair back into a low ponytail

The male idol couldn't help the smile blooming on his face as he opened up the make up bag.

"Do you want foundation today?" Jeongin asked as he began to set the makeup pallets out on the bed.

Mya shook her head as she was searching for a song to play on her phone.

"Usually on days without a schedule, I only do a light eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, and then lip gloss."

Jeongin nodded his head, taking that in.

"You're beautiful with or without it, regardless."

Mya flushed bright red once again as Jeongin began to look for the right brushes and colours.

"The look was very pink so I think you'll like it," Jeongin said as he pulled out the eyeshadow pallet.

Mya nodded and finally chose a song.

The opening notes to Seventeen's 'Darl+ing' began playing and Jeongin smiled.

"Your favourite boy group."
"Hey, not true!" Mya gasped offended. "My favourite group is ZEROBASEONE!"

Jeongin raised an eyebrow at her, as if trying to challenge his girlfriend.

"...okay fine, it is Stray Kids! But can you blame me?! I love all of them," Mya sighed.

In response to that, Jeongin just shook his head fondly and then gestured for Mya's eyes to close.

The girl obeyed and Jeongin carefully placed a finger under Mya's chin to tilt up.

The girl felt herself shiver as Jeongin carefully began applying the eyeshadow.

"Is this too rough?" Jeongin asked as he dabbed the colour on.
"No, not at all," Mya said softly. "You're really gentle."

The two of them continued to sit in a comfortable atmosphere as the music from Mya's phone kept playing romantic music.

Once Jeongin was finished with the eyeshadow, he decided to do mascara next.

This would be a little trickier, he figured, but as long as he didn't poke his girlfriend's eye out, this would be successful.

So the maknae carefully grabbed the brush and began to stroke it through Mya's long eyelashes.

"Baby, you don't even need mascara," Jeongin murmured. "Your eyelashes are already long and beautiful."

Mya smiled at that and just let out a little hum of appreciation.

Once that mascara application was completed, it was now time for eyeliner.

Jeongin himself had had eyeliner done a couple times before, but those were by the make up artists.

To do it himself on another person? That was a whole new level of scary.

"I'm going to do your eye liner now, okay love?"

Mya nodded and shifted her posture so that she could stay still.

Jeongin took the eyeliner pen and rested one hand on her cheek softly as his other hand held the pen.

He carefully began tracing the eyeliner on her eyelid, making sure to do a nice flick at the end so it gave her more of a cat eye look.

And when he pulled away, he hadn't even realized that he was holding his breath.

After doing the second eye as perfectly as he could, he grabbed a pretty pink blush to brush on her cheeks.

Once that was done, all that was left was for the lip gloss.

Jeongin perused over the many colours on Mya's vanity before gleefully picking out a rose red colour. It wasn't too dark and not too light either- the perfect colour for his girlfriend.

"Baby, can you apply this?"

Mya took the gloss and carefully applied it to her upper and lower lips.

Jeongin, of course, did nothing but stare at her lips the whole time.

When Mya was done, she used a single finger to beckon him over and when he finally came over, Mya instantly raised onto her tip toes to press a kiss into his lips.

Jeongin's hands instantly placed themselves onto her waist as he deepened the kiss.

Eventually, when the two finally pulled away, Mya giggled at the sight of her boyfriend.

His hair was now slightly messy as her hands had been running through it and his lips were about as red as hers.

"Look at you," Mya giggled, glancing over at the mirror in her room. "You've got lip gloss smudged all over you!"
"It just proves that I'm yours, doesn't it?" Jeongin asked cheekily. "Now come on, let's go get you your bubble tea."
