𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲'𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬:

"You brought me to a game cafe?!"

Robin looked around in awe at all of the computers placed next to each other, the changing neon LED lights that swept the entire room with colour, and the mini kitchen hiding in the back.

"Yup! I thought you'd like it," Jungkook said, smiling softly. "And I rented out the entire cafe since we're famous idols."

Robin's heart swelled at that. She still couldn't believe that Korea's most adored and pinned after man was actually into her.

She gently reached for his arm and pulled him in the direction of one of the computers.

"What should we start with?" Jungkook asked, as he sat down.

He reached for the headphones as Robin settled in the seat next to him.

"Have you played Pico Park?" Robin asked with a sly grin.

"I don't like this game very much," Jungkook mumbled.

He and Robin were just about to pass their third hour spent in the cafe and they were currently playing a 1 vs 1 game.

And Jungkook was losing. By a lot.

And the reason he wasn't requested as new game?

"Can we play again?!" Robin asked eagerly, looking up at the idol with big eyes.

And just like that, Jungkook would give in and click that his character was ready for the next match.

"I dibs Toad!" Robin shouted, hurriedly selecting the character.
"I'll be... baby Mario," Jungkook decided.
"That's random," Robin giggled.
"I think he's cute! He's still a main character, but not as generic as Mario," the boy defended.

Robin shrugged and then picked up the menu that was set on the table in front of them.

Approaching their fourth hour in the game cafe, they finally decided to switch over from the computers to one of the Nintendo Switches.

Robin instantly chose Mario Kart and Jungkook just continued to watch her stars in his eyes.

However, Robin was getting hungry. She hadn't noticed it as much when they were playing, likely because she was too focused on winning the matches. But now was a fantastic time to check out the food that the game cafe had to offer.

"I was thinking about getting a bowl of popcorn! Maybe a latte?" Robin beamed.
"Get whatever you want, I'll pay," Jungkook responded.
"No! You already paid for this entire date!" Robin huffed. "At least let me pay for something!"
"But I'M taking YOU out," Jungkook pointed out. "Also this amount of money is about 1% of the comeback money."

That was enough to shut Robin up and meekly order her popcorn and latte.

Jungkook ended up getting an iced Americano and a piece of pulled pork pizza.

The two were able to play one of the cups in the game before the food showed up.

Robin clapped her hands excitedly as the food was placed in front of them and instantly threw a piece of popcorn into the air which ended up in her mouth.

Jungkook took the first bite of his pizza and his eyes lit up with joy at the burst of flavours.

"Robs, you have to try this!" he said, lifting up the pizza towards her.

Robin leaned over and took a careful bite, allowing for Jungkook to feed her.

She glanced over at the handsome guy and felt her face flush red.

He was just so close to her! And they just shared a bite from the same part of the pizza. Was that considered an indirect kiss?

Would they actually kiss today?

Robin pushed him away, suddenly embarrassed.

"Robs?"
"Don't say anything right now," Robin muttered, blushing.
"Ohh, I made you blush!" Jungkook grinned, proud.
"Shut up," Robin mumbled.

Jungkook ignored her and continued to smile, but he leaned down to place a gentle kiss on the side of her head.

And then as if nothing happened, he picked up his pizza and continued to eat as Robin short circuited.

Robin hid her face again and began to stuff her face with popcorn.

"How's the popcorn?" Jungkook asked teasingly.

Robin sent him an awkward thumbs up in return and Jungkook laughed like it was the most charming thing in the world.

"That was really really fun," Robin said as the two of them walked to the Stray Kids dorms.

Currently, the two of them were happily holding hands as they walked back, their arms swinging up and down.

"I'm glad you had fun," Jungkook replied, softly. "I have a question for you, though."

Robin looked up at him, a confused expression on her face, stopping in place.

Jungkook took a deep breath and turned to face her, looking straight into her eyes.

"I know it hasn't been very long and I know I'm a very busy person. But... I really, really like you and I'd really want you to be my girlfriend. I swear I'll make time for you and that all my other projects won't get in the way! I know-"

And just like that, Jungkook was cut off with a kiss as Robin quickly pressed her lips against his.

Jungkook immediately untensed as his hand travelled down towards Robin's waist and he pulled her in closer.

When the two pulled away from each other, Jungkook rested his head against Robin's, both of them unable to control their wide smiles.

"If that wasn't obvious enough already, I'd love to be your girlfriend," Robin whispered, her cheeks flushed from the adrenaline.

The two separated and Jungkook gently reached for her hand as they began to walk again.

"I'm really so lucky to have you, you know? You've been the inspiration all of my songs lately."

Robin paused for a moment, confused. "You mean Seven?"

Jungkook instantly flushed red as he tried his hardest to deny it.

"I meant songs in the writing process! Not released! Not seven!"
"What if I want it to be Seven?" Robin smirked.

Jungkook's entire body froze in place as Robin continued walking, giggling at herself.

"I'm just joking Kook, you're fun to tease."
"Hey Robs!" Jungkook shouted, chasing after her.

Robin only laughed and started to run away as her boyfriend began to pick up speed trying to catch her.

Best day ever.
