"Thank you for having us!"

Renee watched excitedly from the sidelines as the girls were standing in the middle of the green screen for the filming of their first music video.

The girls were about to film their first ever music video scene and Renee was ecstatic. They truly had come so far from where they started and it was amazing to see.

They had just greeted the camera crew and now they were about to meet their director for the music video.

"The director Junseo Shim is now here on set, please welcome him!" someone from the camera crew called out.

Renee turned around to welcome him, but instead was struck into silence.

What were the odds that the person who just walked into the room happened to be the one who stole and broke the last tart shells?

Still, she refused to show her surprise as she greeted him. There was no way that she was going to let her personal feelings intervene with the girls' filming.

Besides, maybe that day in the grocery store was just an odd day for him?

"Hi girls," Junseo said, nodding his head in their direction.
"Hello director!" the girls chorused.

Renee internally rolled her eyes, already annoyed with the guy. His face was expressionless, truly impossible to read.

Of course, as the professional she is, Renee simply smiled in their direction, pretending to listen to what he was saying.

The girls were definitely going to have a difficult time working with him.

But at the same time... if Renee remembered correctly, this guy had asked for her number. And called her cute. How could this be the same person who seemed so robotic?

Whatever. Renee brushed it off, choosing to ignore it.

Regardless of what this guy was truly like, it wasn't about her.

She was here to be the manager for Bittersweet and that is exactly what she was going to do.

The girls were currently in formation to start filming their first dance scene of the music video.

Renee relaxed into her chair as she heard the song being tested through the speakers to ensure the playback would be okay.

Renee took a seat next to one of the cameras deciding to put her clipboard away so she could properly watch the girls' first take. She folded her hands in her lap and was waiting until, much to her dismay, Junseo came and sauntered up beside her. Then he had the audacity to sit down next to her!

"Nice seeing you here," Renee greeted through grit teeth.
"I'm sitting in the director's chair," Junseo replied blankly. "You're sitting in the spot next to the director's chair."

Renee Hong, you idiot.

"Right, sorry," Renee responded, embarrassed.
"Its fine, its cute," Junseo said casually.

He then turned back to Bittersweet's direction, but not before grabbing the megaphone that was propped on a table next to his chair.

Cute?

Renee quickly hid her face as she felt it turn a little warm. She couldn't be acting like a lovesick teenager when they first see their new hallway crush, it was just embarrassing.

Junseo (without any care for Renee's panic/actions) raised the megaphone to his lips then shouted "from the top, please!"

The Bitter sweet girls got into their starting formation and Renee turned her attention back to them and looked on nervously.

The opening notes began to play as the girls reacted almost immediately as they began their dance.

Junseo tapped his foot appreciatively against the chair as he watched the girls with a careful eye.

Renee decided to study his features for a moment; he really was quite handsome. He had the sort of movie star look that any girl would fall for and his soft brown eyes were easy to get lost in.

But Renee already knew that this guy was extremely hard to read which also meant that he was unpredictable and therefore meant he could be bad news for the girls.

Was this a good person for the team to work with? Would he be able to put up impressive results that could further their career?

"You're staring."

Renee instantly snapped out of her thoughts, confused and panicked.

Junseo was currently staring straight at her, the smallest smirk playing in the corner of his lips.

The Bittersweet girls were still dancing, already on their second chorus.

"You were staring at me. Anything you want to tell me?"

Renee scoffed.

She hadn't been staring! She was very heavily considering the girls' future and whether or not Junseo was capable enough to help them!

Besides, even if Renee chose to ignore the girls (which she never would), she still would be too busy for dating. And even if she had the time, she would be dating Kim Seungmin!

But Junseo was still looking into her eyes, his gaze never once faltering.

It was almost as if he was waiting for her to break under the intensity of his stare.

"I wasn't staring," Renee whispered. "I was zoning out as I thought about the girls' futures and it just so happened to have been in your direction!"
"Mhm, whatever you say, gorgeous," Junseo replied and turned his attention back to the Bittersweet girls who were just about to finish their dance.

How was it that Renee got distracted every single time the girls were doing something important?!

As the girls hit their ending poses, Renee jumped onto her feet anyways, applauding proudly and loudly.

She really was quite impressed with the girls. She was also rather surprised that no one was injured just yet. Renee had been waiting for someone to trip over a camera cord.

As Junseo began to give out his critique and feedback, Renee slipped away into the hallway.
