Author's POV.

It has been 3 years. 3 years since Sahana and Devdutt are dating. 3 years since Sahana and KL family had started bonding with Padikkal family. 3 years since Devdutt proposed Sahana.

Their dating has been a rollercoaster ride. Devdutt had back to back matches and Sahana had back to back shoots. Even though they didn't got much time together with each other, their trust and bond just increased.

Devdutt had dating rumours with one of the model, Sahana had dating rumours with one of her friend and what not. They stayed strong and ignored the rumours.

2 years ago they officially announced that they were dating. Fans were getting crazy. Some loved the couples while some hated and other didn't care.

A year ago, They got engaged. It was the best moment. ICT members and their wives/girlfriends were dancing crazily. Both the families were clapping. Rahul was the one who danced like crazy. Yes the shy boy, he was the most excited one.

Even, Shubman and Sara got married a year ago. Ishan and Aditi decided to get married right after them. Yashasvi was dating and so was Dhruv. Shreyas too got married to Trisha.

Sahana could be seen cheering for Devdutt. Be it offline or online. Be it from stadium or from home, they were always supporting each other and managed to take some time out.

They had arguments but solved them out the next day. They had disagreements but made sure to find a way out of it.

Rahul was the happiest throughout this. He was reliefed that his baby sister have someone. Someone who will treat her like queen. Someone who will hide her like dimond. Someone who will protect her like she is the most rarest thing in the world.

Sahana knew there are prettier girls out their but she also trusted Devdutt. She knew, no beautiful girl can snatch him away from her. She knew where she belongs to and he too knew where he belongs to. They belonged to each other. After a tiring schedule all they wanted was to go home. Home where they will meet each other.

Devdutt even bought a apartment near KL's. So, that Sahana can stay with her brother forever. He doesn't have that heart to separate the siblings.

Present.

Year - 2028.
Month - June.

Place - Mumbai.

Sahana smiled as she had a flashback of 3 years. 4 years ago she left so she could stay away from Devdutt but now, she can't seem to let him be away even for 1 month. Her thoughts were broken by Rahul.

Rah - Sahu where are you and Dev planning to get married?

He asked as he scrolled through his phone. Sahana and Devdutt never discussed about this.

Sahu - I don't know bhaiya. We never discussed about this.

She said genuinely and Rahul nodded. "Call dev his gym time must be over now" he said and Sahana nodded and dropped a message to Devdutt.

After about 10 minutes, they heard door bell rang. Athiya opened the door and saw Devdutt. She invited him with a smile.

Devdutt smiled and greeted the KL family. He sat near Sahana and asked, "Tumne bulaya?". Sahana nodded at that. Devdutt just smiled at her.

Rah - so Devdutt and Sahana when are you both planning to get married.

Rahul asked and that caught Devdutt off gaurd. Devdutt and Sahana never discussed about this. They just wanted to go with the flow.

Rah - I mean it's been a year you both got engaged and almost 4 years since you both are dating. So when are you planning to get married?

Dev - bhaiya you all can discuss that. Me and Sahana are okay with whatever your decision will be.

He said and Rahul smiled. "Theek hain. Aunty aur uncle ko bula hum dekhte hain kal." He said and Devdutt nodded with a smile.

He called his parents and they were more than happy. Afterall who won't be.

The next day.

Padikkal family reached Mumbai and went straight towards KL's apartment. They were invited by flower decoration in the entrance.

They called the Brahmin who will find a suitable date for the couple to get married. The Brahmin started checking the kundali of both, Devdutt and Sahana. He removed his spectacles and smiled.

Devdutt's father asked, "Toh kab ki date hain?". Brahmin smiled and answered, "25 July ko shub mahurat hain otherwise ek saal ke baat hain fir shub mahurat"

Both the families looked at Sahana and Devdutt. Devdutt glanced at Sahana when she answered, "haan theek hain. Let's fix this date then". That bought a smile on Devdutt's face and he too nodded.

The families started to feed each other sweet and Rahul just hugged his baby sister. Oh boy, she is all grown up now.

The invitation cards started printing. Both Sahana and Devdutt decided to suprise everyone. They planned to send card at everyone's house and not tell anyone about their marriage.

The Gill's, Tendulkar's, Sharma's, Kohli's , Dhoni's, Hundia's, Bumrah's and who not. They were inviting everyone.

At Sharma's home.

The door bell rang and Ritika opened the door. There she found a beautiful basket. She picked it up and called her Rohit who came right away.

Frowning they both opened the basket and saw a card. Which read -

"The Sharma Family is invited to the marriage ceremony of Devdutt and Sahana.

The marriage takes place on 25th of July 2028.

Haldi would be held on 22nd July and after that Mehendi on 23rd of July.

Sangeet would be on 24th of July so make sure to learn some dance steps and perform well.

It was a suprise so we didn't inform anyone.

Below this card was a proper wedding invitation card which read -

"KL Sahana weds Devdutt Padikkal"

Ro - YEH DONO SHAADI KAR RAHE HAIN?

Rits - nahi toh, ghar-ghar khel rahe hain dono.

She said sarcastically and Rohit gave her playful glare. "Aree matlab bataya bhi nahi" he said and Ritika facepalmed herself.

Rits - Ro read it properly, it was a suprise that's why they didn't inform anyone.

Ro - ohh haan...

The scene was same at everyone's home. Devdutt and Sahana got lots of call. Some were congratulating while some were whining for not telling them beforehand.

It was a crazy scene. But thats what family is afterall right.
