On her last day in New York, Kimberly met up with her friends from Marvel, Zendaya, Florence and Hailee.

They were supposed to meet up for a picnic in Central Park, but it decided to rain. Just her luck, she thought.

But now, they were in Zendaya's apartment that she shared with Tom, having an inside picnic instead. "So...." Zendaya broke the silence. "How is it going with you and your boyfriend?" She asked Kimberly.

"He's not my boyfriend." The younger girl whined. "Sure." Florence snickered and Kimberly glared at her.

Kimberly sighed. "I may or may not have fucked up though."

"What? How?" Hailee asked and Zendaya paused her skincare routine.

"So, uh, I may or may not have kissed him." Kimberly said. Florence was about to say something but the 17-year old held up a hand to shush her. "And I may or may not have ran away right after."

"Kimberly!" Zendaya scolded.

"What? I was running late to my flight!" The younger girl replied. "But yeah, I'm aware that I messed up. I shouldn't have done that. What if he doesn't feel the same way? What if I just ruined our friendship for forever?"

"Doesn't feel the same way?" Florence asked incredulously. "Girl, do you see the way he looks at you?"

"Not even looks, stares, goodness." Hailee corrected the blonde, who nodded in agreement.

"You guys have never met him!" Kim exclaimed.

"True, but we still see how he acts on FaceTimes with you, or in lives, or-" "Okay, okay, I get it." Kimberly cut off Zendaya.

The younger girl sighed. "What am I supposed to do now?"

"You gotta talk to him about it." Hailee shrugged.

"I know, but I'm not going to be in Vancouver for another month, and talking this over on the phone or text doesn't feel right. I don't know what to do." Kimberly said as she flopped down on the couch next to Tessa, Tom's dog.

"I think you should wait until you see him in-person again." Zendaya said.

"Yeah, then it will be better, more personal, I guess." Kim mused.

As soon as Kimberly finished talking, "Shake It Off" by Taylor swift started blasting. "What the fuck?" She yelled over the music.

"You guys were acting a little emo, you need queen Taylor to lighten the mood." Florence, who was the reason for this shenanigan, replied.

Zendaya and Hailee started dancing to the song, with Florence and Kimberly singing it as well.

"Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate." Kim sang.
