As they neared the airport, a not-awkward-but-not-totally-comfortable silence fell over Charlie and Kimberly. After a few moments of silence, Charlie decided to break it.

"So... What's your other project?" Charlie asked. "Exactly what that post said a month ago. Live action version of Avatar: The Last Airbender." Kim replied.

"I don't understand how they knew. Like stalker who?" Charlie shook his head. "I know, it gave me the creeps." Kimberly shivered as they pulled up to her terminal. She got out of the car as soon as he parked it, taking out her luggage. She got in the passenger seat for one more time to hug Charlie, who was still in the driver seat.

"Thank you so much for driving me Char." Kim said as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders. He melted into the touch, wrapping his arms around his waist. "No problem."

It definitely looked strange to all of people passing by, because Kimberly was barely in the passenger seat, most of her body on the middle part in between the seats.

Before fully pulling away, Kim paused, leaving inches in between their faces. After a moment, she quickly kissed his lips before getting out of the car as quickly as she could. "Bye Char!" She said before shutting the car door and walking into the airport.

Great. She thought as she wove through the crowds in the airport. Just great. Kimberly had a tendency to run from her problems, but not that much.

On the other hand, Kimberly knew she was going to explode if she didn't do something about the feelings that were swirling in her chest. They were so overwhelming, Kim was sure she was going to combust.

What if he didn't like her that way? What if she just ruined one of her closest friendship? Shit, it was going to be so awkward.
