Jiggling the door open , Vivianne set aside her belongings on the floor and let Kai do the same - her cheeks still flushed at what happened in the elevator.

* Flash back *

Pressing the elevator door , Vivianne wavered her key-card around it , a security protocol that she found helpful. Tapping her shoe, the brunette felt like she was going to suffocate — the tension between the two so thick that you could cut through it with a knife.

When the elevator door opened , Kai and Vivianne awkwardly went in together. He stared at her with such an intensity that she felt like she was going to drown under the pressure . Suddenly the elevator stopped and the door opened to a whole group of people, considering they were drunk , Vivianne hid herself in the corner not wanting any trouble. It was normal for this to happen , I mean the apartment is full of people who go to her school , some of them were bound to be alchoholics.

Sensing her distress , Kai slipped towards Vivianne and grabbed her arm , pulling towards him - her back was facing his chest, using a free arm to snake an arm around her waist, keeping her in place. Vivianne felt like her heard was going to leave her body , elevating to heaven. She tried to keep her breathing sturdy, while the teenagers were having their own conversation , completely unaware of the two.

Kai slowly slipped Vivianne's hair to one side , giving him complete access to her neck. Considering how short she was compared to him , he could see how she reacted to his touch - how her heart skipped a beat when his cold rings brushed against her skin faintly.

A blush crept to her cheeks as Kai just held her , steady ; no words were exchanged , just touch and feeling.

Vivianne wanted to explode , literally. Her breath hitched when she felt Kai moving her hair , his hot breath all over her neck - sending butterflies and goosebumps at the same time , if that was even possible. His touch unlocked something within her , something she didn't think she could handle , but that didn't matter. Because in this moment she knew that she wanted him.

The sound of the elevator of the elevator distracted the soulmates as all the kids left the elevator , leaving just them , alone. Vivianne felt awkward , not to mention how firm his grip on her waist was , indicating she wasn't leaving until the door opened again .

" You know , whats the point of going to school if you're just going to skip all classes? " She tried , atleast this might get her some space.

He grunts, "What's the point of going to school at all?"

He had a point , she thought. But she's not letting him get his way - she was going to stand her ground.

"But you , um , distract me from my work"

Kai slowly leaned forward until his mouth was at her ear , hot breath fanning all over her. Vivianne felt his scent intoxicating ; like when you consume a drug and feel it consuming your mind whole — in a haze , the flash of the moment. She took a deep breath , letting his aroma , her addicting drug , through her airways.

"Do i distract you now?" His deep, raspy voice right next to her  sent a euphoric feeling through her ears.

All her feelings expanded tremendously  when she felt a slight nip at the side of her neck. Her breath started to get more heavy as the nips got harsher , more passionate. She felt like she was going haywire underneath him , under his spell.

When Kai saw a positive reaction from her , he took it as a sign to keep going. His kisses drowned everything out as he moved down from her temple to her neck. His touch sent her shivers , made her feel alive. Vivianne tried her hardest but a soft sigh escaped her lips when he pressed another soft kiss to her temple once again.

Kai grunted as soon as he heard her , feeling something growing underneath him , He kept kissing her neck all over , no breaks.Once he found her sweet spot , he sucked it repeatedly , leaving a large hickey in its spot as she let out another soft sigh , stirring something unfamiliar inside him.

" Kai , not here , not now " She managed , trying to stop herself from collapsing as her knees grew weak. As if on cue , the door opened and Vivianne quickly released herself from Kai's grip and walked out , leaving a shocked Kai stood there. 

All that Vivianne knew as she walked to her apartment was that her neck was probably littered with hickeys right now.

Smiling at Kol , she walked to her room and closed the door , forgetting to lock it behind her. The brunette stripped out of her clothes and threw it in the laundry basket. Only in her undergarments , the teen walked over to her dresser. Hm , she thought , looking through more clothing.She needed something comfortable but presentable , since she had guests over.

Suddenly , the door burst open and a smug Kol called out , " Cmon' , love get ready , we're going sho- oh wow " stammering when his eyes met her. Checking her out, Vivianne's cheeks flushed of embarrassment, at this point she was pink - not to mention how she was feeling with Kol shamelessly checking her out. He registered the bruise on her neck and felt anger seeping through him , but the more he looked at it , he saw that it was more of a hickey then anything else  and he felt calm . Then he remembered how someone gets a hickey and he felt his anger coming back , with a tinge of jealousy highlighted through.

" GET OUT , IM CHANGING "  She yelled the first thing that came to her head. At inhumane speed , Kol left the room and shut the door behind him. Vivianne let out a breath she didn't know she was holding and looked around. Weird , she muttered - he looked so astonished by her ordinary body but then again it must be a soulmate thing , something Vivianne still couldn't wrap her head around.

Satisfied with her look , Vivianne applied some dark eyeliner and put on her shoes and stepped out of the room. Walking down the corridor , she saw that Kai was ready , in different clothes , and Kol was in a daze , from his , sneak-a-peak from earlier.

Clapping her hands like she's going to announce something important , the brunette says , " Okay , i want no funny buisness , at all. Be on your best behaviour , and we won't have problems , are we good? "

They definitely weren't good , Kol was running around the store , picking things up and throwing them around. He hadn't been out in the real world since he got out of his coffin , something very exciting for him.

Kai was playing with the unsuspecting customers with magic . Motusing diapers and random things into peoples carts and letting items from the higher shelf drop onto people's heads. He found amusement in their confusion but momentarily stopped when Vivianne gave him a stern look.

Growling at the elderly employee who had just scolded him , Kol slumped and walked back up to Vivianne. She smiled sympathetically at the elderly woman before grabbing Kol's collar and bringing his face to hers , with a stern look , " I thought we said no funny buisness " .

Kol simply smirked and moved his head slightly to show how close they were.Realising the intimate closeness , Vivianne blushed as her hand grip softened and then let go. His face creeped towards hers , closer than her comfort ," Sorry darling " He breathed , enjoying her flustered reaction.First it was Kai now this?  Vivianne didn't know if she could handle this

She stammered , trying to form words but it just wouldn't come out so instead , she just pushed the cart and walked away. Kol let out a chuckle and walked in the other direction.

Vivianne definitely regretted taking the chaotic duo, she should have left them in the car , waiting. " Put down the rice Kol! there's already some in the cart!! ". However , in the midst of the chaos , she felt like she was at home , no not a place - a people , her people. It was a homey scenario and Vivianne couldn't shake the feeling that this was right , her right.

" But this says that it's good for your health " He whined . Kol didn't care for what humans ate but he couldn't leave his darling with empty cupboards. He didn't care if he would have to force feed her himself , she was going to eat healthily.

Kai comes back after , bottles full of expensive liquor, a grin wide on his face as he dumps them in the cart.

" Nope put it back , my new neighbour is the manager here and i am not having an impression of being a professional alchoholic ! I'd have to leave the apartment !! " She yells as he smiles sheepishly , walking off to buy another random item. ' I hope he knows that he's paying ' She muttered.

Walking past the clothes isle , Kai grabbed some baby-wear leaving her confused. " Uh , Kai , we dont have children ? " . He simply smirked at her and said , " Yet , plus we could certainly try " . As soon as he said that , Kol speeded in and threw Kai across the floor , to which he responded with a quick ' motus ' , leaving them both on the floor.

Vivianne sighs , already tired and they've barely gotten through the day. This is going to be fun , she thought.

" To summarise : Kol you have threatened an old lady over who was getting the last porridge , Kai you have made someone go mad and start a fight with a kid. You've both tried to knock eachother over a number of thirteen times, and almost knocked someone unconscious with your shenanigans , success right?

The two boys smiled sheepishly at their mate and slumped back in their seat. Viviannes heart softened at that so for a little treat , she pulled up into " Tati's restraunt " . Smiling bashfully , she got out of the car and opened the door to the back , " This is one of my favourite places to eat and now you have the honour of trying it" .

Looking up to meet them in the eye , Vivianne decided to actually put effort in being their soulmate. As they were walking in the parking lot , Kol on one side , Kai on the other. She slowly slid her hands into theirs , intertwining them.

Kol , pretends to not notice , but due to his vampire nature , the touch was ten times  more electrifying. He gripped her hand tighter and kept walking. Kai's eyes flicked towards her hand then to Vivianne , who's eyes was trained ahead of them , his father never allowed any type of touch towards anyone , scared that his son will suck the life out of them. Safe to say , he's never had much physical contact.

Walking into the restaurant , Vivianne was almost immediately tackled into a hug , " Vivianne , oh how i missed you!! i haven't seen you around here in some tim- oh , you finally brought people to meet your auntie " . Vivianne squirmed but felt happy , Tati wasn't her actual auntie but treated her as such. Tati held her so tightly that Kol fears she may squeeze the life out of Vivianne, both pleased to see each other.

" H-hey Tati , I cant- I can't breathe"  Vivianne spoke , finally getting out of her grip. Tati just through her a bashful smile and pulls away from the hug, still holding Vivianne in her arms. However , Tati switched up almost immediately and looking the two boys up and down with a stern look.

They gave her a nervous smile and sent knowing glances to each other , this is awkward. " Oh Tati , this is Kol and Kai , uh , friends from school "

Tati then unexpectedly brought them into a hug . " Finally my baby brings someone here to try my cooking , especially handsome men " she says , her grin widening as she watches them seductively. Kai tries to extend his hand for her to shake but before he could do so , the woman brought him and Kol in for a hug. They both tense at this and send Vivianne uncomfortable glances but she just laughs , her grin growing wider.

Tati finally pulls away , squealing at the two , " Viviannes never brought her boyfriends here before " . Vivianne chokes on her spit as Kai tries to hold back his laugh. " Tati , they're not my boyfriends " 

Viviannes cheeks flush in embarrassment as she scratches the back of her head nervously. She could of swore that she heard Kol mutter ' yet' but it must be her mind playing tricks on her. Seems like Tati is out to embarrass her as much as possible .

" Oh honey , even if I was always surrounded by men this handsome , i'd not think of them as friends and jump at it , if you know what i mean... " She trailed off, grinning teasingly at the brunette.

" You know what Tati , just uh give me three of the usual " She exclaimed , linking her arms with the two flustered men and walking off to a table. Tati giggled at her antics and walked off the prepare the food.

As they got up , finishing the amazing food Tati made , Vivianne made her way to the counter handing her card in to her aunt. Tati just stared at her before bursting into barrels of laughter , " Honey , its on me , you know you never have to pay with me " 

" But Tati I- "

" Nuh uh , nope " 

Vivianne knew how stubborn Tati is and huffs , letting her win this time. She throws her a warm smile as Vivianne puts her card back. Vivianne sends a side glance to Kol and Kai , who were waiting by the door for her.

Tati then sends her a knowing look , " You like them dont you? I can see it , mija , it's the sparkle in your eyes ". Vivianne felt taken aback, feeling her breath hitch in her throat.

" I don't , really " She dismisses quickly , throwing her gaze to the floor , "It's a bit complicated at the moment " She admits , looking back to Tati. What she had with her soulmates was complicated to say the least.

" Oh darling , it's not complicated unless you decide it is. Explain your feelings to them " Tati gave her a sympathetic look , knowing herself how hard it is to come to terms with your feelings. Vivianne gulped and thought about it. " Maybe soon "

Letting her off the hook , Tati smiles yet again , " That's good enough for me mija ". Vivianne nods and hops on a bar stool, leaning across the counter and pressing a swift kiss on Tita's cheek , " If anything happens , call me , alright?"

Tati sends her a nod and whispers teasingly , " Get that di-" . But before she could finish , Vivianne gives her a smile and walks off , to scared to hear the rest.
