Shutting off her alarm, Vivianne let out a groan and removed the warm blankets from her body. Slipping out of bed , she let out a yawn , rubbing her raw eye while staring at the wall — that moment where you are actually considering whether going to school was actually worth it.

She slipped into the daze , too enticed about the pro's & cons of going to school. Her alarm then suddenly went off for the second time that day. It blared loud enough for Vivianne to snap out of it and walk to her bathroom.

The cold , ice water immediately jolted her awake. It was only 5:30 so the brunette considered shaving her body. However , when she looked down , she changed her mind. There was barely any hair there.

It's not a bad thing really, she went to the doctors about it and they just said that ' some people be hairy , some people don't , periodt.' , so she didn't dwell on it much.

Drying herself off, the brunette thought of the two boys that were sound asleep in her apartment. They had changed her life so quickly , that it didn't even seem humanely possible. Like a jump-scare , preying on a naive unsuspecting person that appearing right infront of them uninvited. Vivianne felt like she was being jumpscared , constantly.

Humming a classical tune , the brunette decided on a outfit shoes ,placing them neatly on her bed to put on later. As of now , she decided on workout clothes. It was only 6AM and Vivianne felt bored out of her mind.

She wasn't one for breakfast , mostly skipping it and heading straight to the gym. Her mind drifted to Kol and Kai , how kind and loving they had been towards her, and she wanted to re pay them but didn't exactly know how.

Vivianne thought of making breakfast for them but her mind quickly reminded her of Elena's comment and how she reacted to her own food. ' Nope absolutely not. I'm trying to repay them , not kill them ' she thought , running a hand through her hair in exasperation. Then, it was as if a lightbulb dinged on top of her brunette hair , she could just go buy it for them.

"Perfect" She whispers , a small smile playing on her lips while knowing fully that no one can hear her.

Wiping her hand on her sweaty forehead , Vivianne walked across the pier. She lived a few bus rides away from a beach that was perfect for running while watching the sunset. Jumping childishly off the pier , the brunette took a photo of the sunrise and walked off to her favourite cafe. She had found it in a dark time and the owner would always give her helpful advice on anything she needed.

Ignoring the bell ringing when she opened the door, Vivianne walked to the counter , a small glint of happiness in her eyes. " ALEXA , ARE YOU HERE??? ALEXA , COME HERE " . When she heard no response , she walked through the back door to the kitchen.

Alexa was on the floor passed out.

Rushing towards her, Vivianne felt her head pounding as she checked Alexa for any injuries. Turning Alexa on her back , she moved her hair back and checked if she was breathing." Phew " She muttered , her adrenaline going down. How could this have happened? . " Alexa! please wake up! Heyy , Alexaaa wake up . Wake up please! " She wailed , feeling her tears slowly forming , " Time to wake up Alexa please..."

Alexa shot up with a gasp , quickly gripping on to Vivianne for dear life. She breathed heavily taking up the air. Burying her head in Viviannes shoulders , Alexa sat there whimpering in her arms. She kept re-gripping Vivianne like she was going to disappear , tears formed in Alexa's eyes but she tried to blink them away.Instead of pushing her to tell Vivianne what happened, they sat there a few minutes before she decided to break the silence , " I'm gonna take you to get some water and wash your face , is that okay?"

Vivianne only got a noise of agreement and that was all she really needed. She quickly moved her hair back and carried Alexa effortlessly. Holding her bridal style, Vivianne felt Alexa bury her head in her shoulder and she felt her heart swell in sympathy for the girl. She knew that Alexa would need some moments to catch herself but this stirred confusion, what the hell happend to her? Vivianne tried to think of ways but her mind hit a dead end.

Putting Alexa down , Vivianne gripped Alexa's waist as she could tell her legs were weak and sore from something , but she wasn't sure what it was. Using her other arm , Vivianne turned the tap on and decided to leave it for a while , to get cold . Lifting Alexa bridal style once again , she walked to one of the couches of the store. Luckily for her , nobody was there so she placed Alexa down on it , " I'll be back okay " She whispered , holding Alexa's tear stained face. She speedwalked to the sign and turned it , to say " CLOSED "

A few moments later , Vivianne came back with a col lass of water and a wet cloth. She noticed how Alexas arms are shaking, her sympathy growing. Bending down to her level, Vivianne grippe the cup for Alexa and let her drink.

After a few pauses , she managed to finish the cup and Vivianne sat down next to her and held Alexa's chin softly, turning her head. She flinched slightly but moved her head nonetheless. Viviannes softens before slowly bringing the cloth to wipe her tears.

After a few moments of silence , she speaks out, " It was Carl... He came back " . Her voice sounds coarse and tired out . " He kept telling me how he loved me and I think he was drunk but I- . I, uh - I turned him down " She sniffled " Then he started pushing and shoving me and saying all these mean words... He , uh , backed me against a wall and I- "

" You dont have to tell me, it's alright , I promise " . Vivianne spoke, rubbing comforting circles on her back.

" No its alright. He uh, told me that his , um dick was hungry for me... and I told him I dont want too and I guess he got mad? At least thats what I remember... After he started taking off my clothes and pinned me against the wall " Her voice cracks " And I- I was so scared , I didn't want it, I didn't ask for it.... He kept whispering dirty things in my ears while I screamed telling him no and he... he didnt care " She sniffs " He tired me out so much that I think I passed out of exhaustion... but i barely remember what happend next except from his last words..."

" What were they?"

" I'll be waiting in OUR home for round two. And our baby could watch "

All Vivianne saw was red , she wanted to murder him. Take him out of this world so painfully and drag it out for long. Alexa had told her that their baby , Evelyn , was the cause of a drunk night , but consented which warmed her heart up. Carl wanted nothing to do with his children and only saw Alexa as an object. She wanted to get up and murder him but Alexa was her top priority.

" It's going to be okay , It's gonna be just fine. Do you have any family in the country? " As far as Vivianne knew , Alexa didn't have anyone.

" I have a cousin a few towns over but how? MY BABY IS WITH HIM VIVIANNE! HE COULD KILL HER! " She screamed " I cant let him get him way Vivvy please... , my poor baby is stuck there and I cant even help her I- I dont know what to do.... "

Vivianne watched as Alexa's heart poured out for her duaghter and for a moment she wished her mother would care enough for this. " How about I quickly sneak in with some help and steal all your stuff , money , passports, diapers excetera? I'll be out before he knows I promise "

" Can you really? I can stay here and count up my savings and take some emergency food. And I'll call my cousin to tell him I'll be staying. I'll call for a driver to pick me up tonight " Alexa's small figure hides in Viviannes , seeking comfort from her friend. Her voice sound so broken but with a tiny lace of hope written.

" Of course. I'm gonna go now and take your stuff , Are you going to be alright? " Viviannes concerned eyes run over Alexa's face , looking for any doubt or worry. Alexa just gives her a weak smile and nods.

Vivianne burst through her apartment door, a murderous look on her face. Kol and Kai look up from the TV and they see just how angry she is. Kol quickly speeds to her due to his vampire speed and checks her for any injuries , " Where were you? We were so bloody worried for you. What happened love?"

Vivianne's look momentarily softens before looking to Kol and Kai " We need to go get some things for a friend , I'll explain on the way just please help me " Her doe eyes immediately gets the two boys to agree. Kai presses a swift kiss on Viviannes cheeks and walkes out the door to start the car.

Vivianne walks into her pantry and grabs an alluminium bat. It was one of her favourite things to hit people with. Walking back in , Kol stares at her with shock and admiration, " I believe we have a lot in common darling."

Ignoring her crimson cheeks, Vivianne jokingly puts the bat up , like she was going to hit him. Kol broke out a large smile and put his arms up in mock surrender.

Walking to the front porch of the Alexa's home , Vivianne angrily stomps, towards the door , looking forward to beating this man up. Kai places his arm out in front of her and gives the brunette a stern look. He wraps an arm around her waist to make sure she doesnt budge. She huffs in annoyance but complies anyway.

" I wasted all my magic so I cant cloak us and protect you sweetheart "

Hearing Kai's concerned voice and the slight stroke of fear, she glanced at him with a smile , " It's okay , I literally have the first ever vampire and one of the rarest witches . I think we'll handle a human".

" I think you may have forgotten that I need to be invited in darling " Kol spoke

Vivianne scowls at Kol and runs a hand through her hair. She bit her lip anxiously as an idea popped into her mind. She turned to Kai , " Wouldn't you be able to siphon from Kol? I mean vampirism came from magic right? so technically it's a magical being? And I saw Bonnie do a spell to make a house open to a vampire"

The two boys smiled at her solution and felt proud to have a smart soulmate.

TIME SKIP

The brunette sighed tiredly as she poured herself a cup of coffee ; she had woken early and went on chase throughout a whole house for essential items and hid a baby from a insane mad man. Of course due to this , she decided to bunk school the next day. It was the last few weeks so why not?

Kol was out and Kai was sleeping. Perfect relaxation time for her, the two men surrounding her constantly that it kind of became overwhelming. It was only 6 AM so she gave herself an hour of a messy look before getting ready.

Vivianne jumped on the couch and let out a content sigh. Her phone buzzed from underneath her and she groaned. Pulling up her phone , she checked the message. Her eyes softened when she saw it was from Caroline

" Call us , we have a lot to talk about !! "
