AS SOON AS SHE STEPPED IN THE LASKOS MANOR. Coventina was tackle in a hug by Aelora who was laughing so carefreely that Coventina's melts melt for a second before it hardened again.
"Don't do that again, you could get hurt." She scolds her, her eyes looking up to Aelora. It was embarassing that she was smaller than Aelora. She hate her height sometimes.
Antares throw his head back while laughing lowly. "You are still short."
Coventina rolls her eyes, she didn't know how long she could keep up, ignoring him.
"Yeah, yeah!" Aelora pouts. "Merry! Christmas!" She laughs again grabbing many gifts under the huge christmas tree. Coventina's eyes widens. They were so many gifts.
Over three hundreds.
"Juctice for us the poor!" Blaise sulks.
"You are not poor, your mother literally marry rich men, got their money when they die-" Theodore smirks.
"And damn your mom though-" Draco smirks.
"Eww- but she is hot though." Daphne shrugs.
"It's for us!" Aelora exclaims outloud, not noticing the amusing face of Anastacius. "All of that?" Coventina asked hesitately. "Of course, Parva soror." Emrys walked in with his fiance who named himself- Aurelius Rosier.
"Hey Aurelius!" Aelora grinned, waving her hand at Aurelius. "Hello, sunny girl." Aurelius was handsome to say the least- he was problaby blessed by Apollo, God of the sun with his blonde hair and maybe Aphrodite.
"It's funny, me and Daphne are blondes but never got called 'sunshine or sunny girl' by him or the other two!" Delphina pouts.
"That because I am special." Aelora winks at her.
"My man is hot but I am still hotter." Emrys smirks.
"You wish."
He reminded Coventina of a man she read in a book, he was one of her favorite fictional men- yes she read romantic books after reading Romeo & Juliet. There were this series next to it, Shatter me series. It was the only book series that Coventina approve of.
Aurelius looked a lot like the main love interest- Aaron Warner. Well Aaron was not gay but Aurelius was. Both had blonde hair and green eyes. Anyway so-
"Oh my god!! You read that book?!" A muggle born Ravenclaw asks excitely.
"Yes?" Coventina nods, "He is so fashion icon." She adds.
"Aurelius literally have a whole wardrobe for us all." Anastacius exclaims calmly.
"Do you?" Evan asks his future son.
"Yes." Aurelius replies.
"Hello, Coventina." Aurelius looked at her, she nodded. "Hello, Heir Rosier." She said formally. Emrys chuckles at her formality. "Call me Aurelius," Confuse, she looked at Emrys as if asking if it was right.
Emrys tried to not look upset. The fact his sister was confused by Aurelius's nice request and the fact that she looked like she needed permission from him, her brother to call Aurelius by his name. He want to murder those who made his Moonwater like this.
"Moonwater?" Sirius looks at Emrys for explaination.
"Mother wanted to name her 'Diana' which mean Moon but then father decide for Coventina and aunt Remina for Hera so hee full name is Coventina Hera Diana Potter Laskos." Emrys pause before continuing.
"So Diana for Moon and Coventina because it symbolizing the life-giving and renewing properties of water and the Goddess Coventina is revered as a powerful goddess associated with sacred water sources, often depicted as a water nymph gracefully floating on a leaf, carrying vessels filled with the purest water." Emrys smiles as he finished.
"I got nothing." Emrys's smile falter at Sirius's words.
Coventina and James snickers.
"To put it simple, Coventina is nale after a Goddess that is relate to Water and her other name is Diana and place it together it get Moonwater." Remina explains it to Sirius.
"Oh I got it!"
"Is he serious?" Emrys groans.
"Yes, I am."
Aurelius slowly caress his lover's back since Emrys was in disbelief.
"Alright, Aurelius." Coventina nodded, her eyes traveled in the room searching for someone. "Hey, little princess." She tensed and throw a punch to the person behind her.
"Easy there, daughter." Achilles grabbed her wrist carefully stop the defense attack with a grin that was form on his lips. "Father!" She gasped surprised.
Coventina grins, now that she notice it, she look damn cool in that scene.
"She tried to punch me?" Achilles grins.
"Not on purpose." Lucius rolls his eyes.
Emrys chuckles, he was caught off guard by the sudden punch, he frowned. Why did it not hit his father?
"You damn brat-" James grabs Achilles's ear.
"I mean son." Achilles groans.
"That will teach you to not take people by surprise, father." Emrys told him. "Quiet it down, son. Your sister also break my nose if I didn't stop her." With Achilles's words. Coventina was about to apologize but what he said next surprise her.
"I am so fucking proud." Aurelius looked at Achilles with a sigh. "Wow!" Aelora grinned while standing next to Anastacius. Emrys was not surprise by his father's words. He was always proud of his kids and always will be.
Aelora smiles bright with Coventina while Anastacius grins content.
"Best dad for real."
Achilles watched Coventina turned around with a surprise expressing, looking up to him with her sparkling grey-green eyes that was full with curiousity, it was as if he was looking at the whole universe in her eyes.
He placed his hand on her neck, before bringing her closer to him as he placed a kiss on her side head. "Merry christmas, daughter." He whispered softly before hugging her.
"My dad went to get the milk-"
"Theodore Nott!" Daphne scolds.
Theodore chuckles. "Sorry, beautiful."
Euphemia nods, she was happy to see that Achilles was taking great care of her grandchildren.
Coventina relaxed slowly, "Merry christmas, father." She whispered back. Achilles opened one arm, "Aelora." He states. Aelora smiled
and hugged him like Coventina.
"I feel forgetten." Emrys chuckles at Anastacius's comments and ruffle his hair while Aurelius smiled silently.
"We are always forgetten, brother." Emrys let out a dramatic sigh.
"You are right." Anastacius nods.
"You both are so dramatic." Aerys rolls her eyes.
"There are other hundreds gift under that christmas tree, I am surprise it
fit." Coventina said calmly. "Do you have a wish?" Achilles asked her. "Why?" Coventina asked back.
"Aelora wished for a unicorn and Anastacius wished for a dragon, Emrys wished for my 'approval' for his lover." Achilles rolled his eyes before looking at Aurelius then back to Coventina. "What about your wish?"
"I should have see that coming." James facepalm acting like he wouldn't have done same.
He would have.
"A unicorn?!" The girls squeals.
Coventina didn't waste time to ask
for her wish. "Train me." She said without hesitationg catching them
by surprise. "Train you?" Achilles raised a brow. "Yes." Coventina nodded hopefully.
Achilles sighed, letting go of the hug slowly. "Is that a no?" Coventina asked slowly. "It's not that, little dove." He continued while looking
at her in her eyes. "If I train you physically then it won't be pretty.
I won't be gentle, ask Emrys." Coventina looked at Emrys.
"Son, you are acting as if you didn't beg your grandfather to train you without pity." Abraxas comments.
"So did Lucius if I remember well." Lilia points out.
James pressed his lips together anxiously.
Emrys placed his on his back hair. "He is not lying, Moonwater." He slowly continued. "Father is not merciful with his training, specially not with me." Emrys frowned. "Don't be a baby." Achilles smirked.
"You came out just fine." He added with a grin. "Very funny," Emrys sat down next to Aurelius. "Are you still up for it then?" Achilles looked at his daughter. If she accepts then she was totally his daughter- not that she was not, even if she back out, she would still be his daughter. Always.
"Never back down, never what?!" Blaise shouts.
"NEVER GIVE UP."
The second generation except four cold person did not shouts. Antares, Coventina, Anastacius and Aerys.
"Yes." Coventina nodded without hesitation. "Me too!" Aelora waved her hand, she didn't mind some training. "I could train you." Emrys told her. "Yes!" Aelora smiled.
"Can you?" Anastacius looked at Aurelius with a raise a brow. "I give no pity though." Aurelius warned him. "I don't even want pity." Anastacius said almost offend. "Well then."
"In your summer vocation, your training will start." Achilles told them before Coventina pulled him to her height slowly. "What's wong, little dove?" He asked her.
"Damn my daddy issues."
"Same here,"
"Who are Moony, Padfoot, Prongs and wormtail?" She asked him by his surprise expression, Coventina knew
he knew the answer. "Moony is Lady Black, as I am sure you know that." Achilles told her.
"Yes, I don't know how though." She told her father. "Wormtail is pettigrew." He mumbled with disgusted. "Prongs is-" He was interrupted. "Mother?" She told him and he nodded. "Padfoot is Sirius Black."
Peter flinchs.
"She doesn't remember us, she was still a baby, I supose." Remina whispers softly to Sirius who rock her back gently.
"Thank you." Achilles ruffle her hand, "No need to thank me, little dove." She looked at him. "Go open those gifts will you?" She grinned at his words and went with Aelora and Anastacius to open the gifts.
"Pssss." Achilles hissed to Aamon who was slithering around, "ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴍɪsᴛᴇʀ ᴅᴇᴠɪʟssss?" Aamon hissed. "Keep an eyes on the professors at Hogwards then I will triple your gifts." Achilles told Aamon. "ʀᴇᴀʟʟʏ? ɪ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ɪᴛ ᴀsss sᴏᴏɴ ᴀsss ɪ ᴄᴏᴍᴇ ʙᴀᴄᴋ!" Aamon quickly slithered away as quick as
he could.
"I swear- where did you find that smartass?" Achilles asks his daughter curiously.
"In the wood, I saved him and he saved me." Coventina smiles.
Antares chuckles,"If only you know, déesse." He thought to himself.
"That cobra is too smart." Emrys groaned, "Angry at a snake?" Aurelius laughs lowly. His eyes shining brighter than the sun. "Don't you dare laugh at me!" Emrys looked at him. "What if I do, baby?" Aurelius smirks handsomely.
Achilles refrained fom cursing his future son in law for flirting with his son so openly in front of him and went to the youngest one.
"I am surprise that you are still alive." Aerys grins at Aurelius.
"None of your business, whity." Aurelius rolls his eyes, crossing his arms agzinst his chest.
"Oh, someone is angry?" Aerys taunts.
"I will rip out her fucking heart and shove it down her throat!" Antares growls lowly. He never hate someone as much as he hate her.
Sike. There are others that he bears more hatred toward than Aerys.
"Hm?" Coventina was not surprise when she saw a gift with her name send by A.R.B which was a moon hair pin, silver and utterly beautiful even more than the one he gave her at Hogwards but what caught her attention were the dagger that was like the pin, silver and moon type.
She love it, it was useful too and pretty but would she admit it to Black? Maybe? Or not. There were also a box- naturaly it was black and silver with moon designs. She smiled.
Antares relaxes as soon as the thirteen years old Coventina smiled. "I could take her on the moon if she ask me to."
Coventina sighs content, the dagger was still with her. For some reasons that she doesn't know, Antares seems to give her gifts that she can't refuse.
"Manipulative arsholle." She whines mentally.
The scene shift to Hogwards where Aamon was seen slithering under a table under the invisible cloack that he took in Coventina's room by his fangs. Aamon saw another pair of feet, wearing sparkly turquoise high heels, and heard a woman's voice. "A small gillywater-"
"Now I know where my cloak disappears!" Coventina frowns.
"Your own familiar steals from you." Draco laughs.
"Your name mean dragon yet you prefer ferret- you can't be talking." Coventina sasses back at him.
"Damn stop hurting me." Draco sulks.
"Mine," said Professor McGonagall's voice. "Four pints of mulled mead --"
"Ta, Rosmerta," said Hagrid. "A cherry syrup and soda with ice and umbrella-" "Mmm!" said Professor Flitwick, smacking his lips. "So you'll be the red currant rum, Minister."
"Thank you, Rosmerta, m'dear," said Fudge's voice. "Lovely to see you again, I must say. Have one yourself, won't you? Come and join us." "Well, thank you very much, Minister." "So, what brings you to this neck of the woods, Minister?" came Madam Rosmerta's voice.
Fudge said in a quiet voice, "What else, m'dear, but Sirius Black? I dare say you heard what happened up at the school at Halloween?" I did hear a rumor," admitted Madam Rosmerta. "Did you tell the whole pub, Hagrid?" said Professor McGonagall exasperatedly.
"Do you think Blacks still in the area, Minister?" whispered Madam
Rosmerta. "I'm sure of it," said Fudge shortly. "You know that the dementors have searched the whole village twice?" said Madam Rosmerta, a slight edge to her voice. "Scared all my customers away... It's very bad for business, Minister."
"There we go, the professors are gossiping about news." Narcissa mumbles. She loves gossip but not the type that hurt her family.
"Rosmerta, dear, I don't like them any more than you do," said Fudge
uncomfortably. "Necessary precaution... unfortunate, but there You are... I've just met some of them. They're in a fury against Dumbledore- he won't let them inside the castle grounds." "I should think not," said Professor McGonagall sharply. "How are we supposed to teach with those horrors floating around?"
"Hear, hear!" squeaked tiny Professor Flitwick, whose feet were dangling
a foot from the ground. "All the same," demurred Fudge, "they are here to protect you all from something much worse.... We all know what Black's capable of..."
"Sirius can barely slap a bird!" Remina growls annoyed.
"He doesn't even read." Regulus finds himself curling his fist tightly.
"Let alone have a tea party!" Alice shrugs.
"Do you know, I still have trouble believing it," said Madam Rosmerta
thoughtfully. "Of all the people to go over to the Dark Side, Sirius Black was the last I'd have thought... I mean, I remember him when he was a boy at Hogwarts. If you'd told me then what he was going to become, I'd have said you'd had too much mead."
"You don't know the half of it, Rosmerta," said Fudge gruffly. "The worst he did isn't widely known." "The worst?" said Madam Rosmerta, her voice alive with curiosity, "Worse than murdering all those poor people, you mean?"
"Sirius would never do that!" James grits his teeth.
"Even if he did then there is no proof." Euphemia shrugs and ruffle Sirius's hair.
"Thanks." Sirius mutters. He was surprise but happy when his friends defends him.
"I certainly do," said Fudge. "I can't believe that. What could possibly be worse?" "You say you remember him at Hogwarts, Rosmerta," murmured Professor McGonagall. "Do you remember who his-best friend was?"
"Naturally," said Madam Rosmerta, with a small laugh.
"Never saw one without the other, did you? The number of times I had them in here- ooh, they used to make me laugh. Quite the double act, Sirius Black and James Potter!"
Sirius smiles and James grins.
"How troublesome."
"ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴍɪsᴛᴇʀ ᴅᴇᴠɪʟ's ᴍᴀᴛᴇ's ɴᴀᴍᴇ!" Aamon thought under the table.
"Mate?" James raises a brow.
"For animals, they use the term 'mate' instead of 'lover'." James nods at Regulus's explaination.
Achilles tighten his grip on Coventina's hair accidentally.
"Father, your jealousy is showing." Coventina chuckles.
"As it's fucking should." He loosen his grip and apologize to Coventina.
"Precisely," said Professor McGonagall. "Black and Potter. Ringleaders of their little gang. Both very bright, of course- exceptionally bright, in fact- but I don't think we've ever had such a pair of trouble- makers-" "I dunno," chuckled Hagrid. "Fred and George Weasley could give 'em a run fer their money."
"They totally would."
"You'd have thought Black and Potter were brothers!" chimed in Professor
Flitwick. "Inseparable!" "Of course they were," said Fudge. "Potter trusted Black beyond all his other friends. Nothing changed when they left school. Black was best man when James married Lily. Then they named him godfather to Coventina. Poor Coventina has no idea, of course. You can imagine how the idea would torment her."
"What nonsense is that?" Fleamont raises a brow.
"Why would I marry her in the future?" James looks at Coventina.
"Love potion-" Coventina sits up properly.
"Also the imperius curse. From what father told me, he was with Emrys at Azkaban at that moment and they altered Sirius and you's memories." She explained carefully.
"How dare those low life do such things to Sirius!" Arcturus Black slams his cane on the ground angrily.
Alphard almost spit out his drink.
Bellatrix raises a brow,"Of course the blood traitor is his favorite." She scoffs.
Coventina smirks as she notices the cold glint in Antares's eyes. She adores the Black madness.
"If you are dead, I would revive you over and over again and kill you every single time. You filthy mudblood." Achilles says with disgust.
Lily shrinks fearfully.
"ʜᴜᴍᴀɴs ᴀʀᴇ sᴏ sᴛᴜᴘɪᴅ." If a cobra could scoff then it was what Aamon was trying to do. Trying. "ᴍɪsᴛᴇʀ ᴅᴇᴠɪʟ ɪs ᴄʟᴇᴀʀʟʏ ᴛʜᴇ ғᴀᴛʜᴇʀ. ʙᴏᴛʜ ᴅᴇᴠɪʟs, ʙᴜᴛ ɪ ᴘʀᴇғᴇʀ ᴍɪsᴛʀᴇss."
"The fact that they called that red head as your mother is offensive is not it?" Achilles looks at Coventina.
"Very."
Aurelius smirks, he wonders how much time left until the fourth years start- it would totally be the best one for them to react.
"Because Black turned out to be in league with You-Know-Who?" whispered Madam Rosmerta. "Worse even than that, rn'dear...." Fudge dropped his voice and proceeded in a sort of low rumble.
"Not many people are aware that the Potters knew You-Know-Who was after them. Dumbledore, who was of course working tirelessly against You-Know-Who, had a number of useful spies. One of them tipped him off, and he alerted James and Lily at once. He advised them to go into hiding. Well, of course, You-Know- Who wasn't an easy person to hide from. Dumbledore told them that their best chance was the Fidelius Charm."
"How does that work?" said Madam Rosmerta, breathless with interest.
Professor Flitwick cleared his throat.
"An immensely complex spell," he said squeakily, "involving the magical
concealment of a secret inside a single, living soul. The information is hidden inside the chosen person, or Secret- Keeper, and is henceforth impossible to find- unless, of course, the Secret- Keeper chooses to divulge it. As long as the Secret-Keeper refused to speak, You-Know-Who could search the village where Lily and James were staying for years and never find them, not even if he had his nose pressed against their
sitting room window!"
"He doesn't even have nose-" Daphne shrugs.
"Not but why is his younger self so hot?" Delphina frowns.
Maawhile Amelia Bones was taking notes of everything to make sure that she won't make any mistake.
"So Black was the Potters' Secret- Keeper?" whispered Madam Rosmerta. "Naturally," said Professor McGonagall. "James Potter told Dumbledore that Black would die rather than tell where they were, that Black was planning to go into hiding himself... and yet, Dumbledore remained worried. I remember
him offering to be the Potters' Secret- Keeper himself."
"Sirius would never betray us just as we would never betray him." James states firmly.
Thanatos was surprise that James have not snap but then again nobody know when a Potter is pissed.
Walburga was surprise by James's words. Maybe Sirius was much better with them.
"He suspected Black?" gasped Madam Rosmerta. "He was sure that somebody close to the Potters had been keeping You-Know-Who informed of their movements," said Professor McGonagall darkly. "Indeed, he had suspected for some time that someone on our side had turned traitor and was passing a lot of information to You-Know-Who."
"But James Potter insisted on using Black?" "He did," said Fudge heavily. "And then, barely a week after the
Fidelius Charm had been performed-" "Black betrayed them?" breathed
Madam Rosmerta.
"He did indeed. Black was tired of his double-agent role, he was ready to declare his support openly for You- Know-Who, and he seems to have planned this for the moment of the Potters' death. But, as we all know, You-Know-Who met his downfall in little Coventina Potter. Powers gone,
horribly weakened, he fled. And this
left Black in a very nasty position indeed. His master had fallen at the very moment when he, Black, had shown his true colors as a traitor. He had no choice but to run for it-"
"Lies, lies, lies and nothing but filthy lies." Aelora scoffs with disgust.
"Filthy, stinkin' turncoat!" Hagrid said, so loudly that half the bar
went quiet. "Shh!" said Professor McGonagall.
"I met him!" growled Hagrid. "I musta bin the last ter see him before he killed all them people! It was me what rescued Coventina from Lily an' James's house after they was killed! jus' got her outta the ruins, poor little thing, with a great slash across her forehead, an' her parents dead..."
"An' Sirius Black turns up, on that flyin' motorbike he used ter ride. Never occurred ter me what he was doin' there. I didn' know he'd bin Lily an' James's Secret-Keeper. Thought he'd jus' heard the news o' You-Know -Who's attack an' come ter see what he could do. White an' shakin', he was. An' yeh know what I did? I COMFORTED THE MURDERIN' TRAITOR!" Hagrid roared.
"The fact that you believe it. is quiet disappointing." Euphemia mutters.
She could see that Sirius as hurt specially by professor McGonagall.
"It's okay." Remina kisses Sirius's cheek.
At the Laskos Manor, Achilles's eyes widened as soon as he heard his daughter groaned out of pain, holding her head. "Little dove!" "Tina!" Achilles kneel down next to her, holding her against him.
Then his eyes widened once again, "Familiar connection, damn it.
I should have think about that before sending her cobra away." He growled lowly. "Emrys, tell the elf to prepare something for her. Anything that calm down head ache." He picked Coventina up and placed her on the couch.
"It's supose to help her and not to bring her pain." Antares groans lowly.
"You always make us worry." Emrys tan his hand through his hair.
"Aamon-" She groaned out of pain again, "I told him to spy on some people, you must be sensing his anger and distress." Achilles kissed her side head again, long enough to calm her down. "So many voice." She whispered and winced.
"Let me." Aurelius walked toward them and looked at Coventina. "Relax and cleared all the voice, listen one by one." By his voice and words, everything seem to clear up and she soon relax, listening to the voices and she was not liking what she was hearing.
"Is she okay?" Aelora asked worriedly. "She is okay." Emrys kissed Aelora's forehead gently. The scene shift back to Hogwards.
"You are older yet mine is more powerful." Antares smirks proudly.
"We both know the reason to that." Aurelius rolls his eyes.
"Ugg, I hate this." Coventina mumbles.
"Hagrid, please!" said Professor McGonagall. "Keep your voice down!"
"How was I ter know he wasn' upset abou' Lily an' James? It was You- Know-Who he cared abou'! An' then he says, 'Give Coventina ter me, Hagrid, I'm her godfather, I'll look after her-' Ha! But I'd had me orders from Dumbledore an' I told Black no, Dumbledore said Coventina was ter go ter her aunt an' uncle's. Black argued, but in the end he gave in. Told me ter take his motorbike ter get Coventina there. 'I won't need it
anymore,' he says."
"Hold this shit up!!" Sirius growls, his grey eyes shining with madness.
"This is telling us that I coumd have had my goddaughter with me? It would have mean that she didn't have to go to that Orphanage and my son would have grow up with me?!" He growls. Cold. Dangerous. Black madness.
"I had the same reaction." Coventina chuckles bitterly.
"If only."
"I should have known there was somethin' fishy goin' on then. He loved that motorbike, what was he givin' it ter me for? Why wouldn' he need it anymore? Fact was, it was too easy ter trace. Dumbledore knew he'd bin the Potters' Secret-Keeper. Black knew he was goin' ter have ter run fer it that night, knew it was a matter o' hours before the Ministry was after him.
"But what if I'd given Coventina to her, eh? I bet he'd 've pitched her off the bike halfway out ter sea. His bes' friends' daughter! But when a wizard
goes over ter the Dark Side, there's nothin' and no one that matters to
em anymore..."
"I never dislike Hagrid like I do now." Delphina grips on Anastacius's arms, unaware that she was tugging her nails in his skin.
Anastacius groans.
"S-sorry!" Delphina gasps, and look at him worriedly.
"Continue." He tells her.
A long silence followed Hagrid's story. Then Madam Rosmerta said with some satisfaction, "But he didn't manage to disappear, did he? The Ministry of Magic caught up with him next day!" "Alas, if only we had," said Fudge bitterly. "It was not we who found him. It was little Peter Pettigrew another of the Potters' friends. Maddened by grief, no doubt, and knowing that Black had been the
Potters' Secret-Keeper, he went after Black himself."
"Pettigrew... that fat little boy who was always tagging around after them at Hogwarts?" said Madam Rosmerta.
"Hero-worshipped Black and Potter," said Professor McGonagall. "Never
quite in their league, talent-wise. I was often rather, harp with him. You can imagine how I -how I regret that now..." She sounded as though she had a sudden head cold.
"What a funny joke, that rat? A
hero?" Anastacius raise a brow.
"Coward." Aelora scoffs.
"Son of a bitc-"
"Let's not finish that word, dragon." Narcissa looks at her son sternly.
"I never like him." Evan whispers to Dorcas.
"There, now, Minerva," said Fudge kindly, "Pettigrew died a hero's death. Eyewitnesses- Muggles, of course, we wiped their, memories later- told us how Pettigrew cornered Black. They say he was sobbing, 'Lily and James, Sirius! How could you?' And then he went for his wand. Well, of course, Black was quicker. Blew Pettigrew to smithereens."
Sirius holds back his tears, he never expect to be betray like this. Neither did James.
"Guys-" Marlene grits her teeth, before shouting at Peter. "Shut it! We don't want to hear you."
"My mom slays." Delphina yawns.
Professor McGonagall shakes her head sadly. "My apology, mister Black." SHe tells him sincerly.
"It's fine, Minnie." Sirius flashes a fake smile that James and Andromeda was quick to notice.
"Don't fake anything, we are here for you." His older counsin tells him.
Sirius nods.
Professor McGonagall blew her nose and said thickly, "Stupid boy, foolish boy... he was always hopeless at dueling should have left it to the Ministry...." "I tell yeh, if I'd got ter Black before little Pettigrew did, I wouldn't 've messed around with wands- I'd 've ripped him limb- from-limb," Hagrid growled.
"You don't know what you're talking about, Hagrid," said Fudge sharply.
"Nobody but trained hit Wizards from the Magical Law Enforcement Squad would have stood a chance against Black once he was cornered. I was junior Minister in the departmen- t of Magical Catastrophes at the time, and I was one of the first on the scene after Black murdered all those people. I will never forget it." He continued.
"I still dream about it sometimes. A crater in the middle of the street, so deep it had cracked the sewer below. Bodies everywhere. Muggles screaming. And Black standing there laughing, with what was left of Pettigrew in front of him... a heap of bloodstained robes and a few a few fragments-"
"See? You are all so stupid. That's what annoyed me the most. You believe everything you see and are so damn naive." Many frozes at Antares's cold tone.
"It's disgusting really." He looks at
them. "Tom Riddle is nothing compare to many other wizards that none of you even know exist."
Aerys closes her eyes and nods. She had to agree. Dumbledore, Grindelwald and Tom Riddle are nothing more than some puppets.
They were never the real deal.
Many were quiet at his words. They clearly didn't know who was the big deal.
Coventina place her hand on her neck, slowly caressing it. "Ravens." She hissed.
Fudge's voice stopped abruptly. There was the sound of five noses being
blown. "Well, there you have it, Rosmerta," said Fudge thickly. "Black was taken away by twenty members of the Magical Law Enforcement 'Squad and Pettigrew received the Order of Merlin, First Class, which I think was some comfort to his poor mother. Blades been in Azkaban ever since."
Madam Rosmerta let out a long sigh.
"Is it true he's mad, Minister?" "I wish I could say that he was," said Fudge slowly. "I certainly believe his master's defeat unhinged him for a while. The murder of Pettigrew and all those Muggles was the action of a cornered and desperate man- cruel... pointless. Yet I met Black on my last inspection of Azkaban. You know, most of the prisoners in there sit muttering to themselves in the dark;"
"there's no sense in them... but I was shocked at how normal Black seemed. He spoke quite rationally to me. It was unnerving. You'd have thought he was merely bored- asked if I'd finished with my newspaper, cool as you please, said he missed doing the crossword. Yes, I was astounded at how little effect the dementors seemed to be having on him and he was one of the most heavily guarded in the place, you know. Dementors outside his door day and night."
"Imagine passing twelve years in Azkaban for a crime you didn't commit!" Regulus hissed angrily.
He was close to beating the younger version of Fudge up.
Maybe kill Pettigrew too.
"But what do you think he's broken out to do?" said Madam Rosmerta. "Good gracious, Minister, he isn't trying to rejoin You-Know-Who, is he?" I dare say that is his, eventual plan," said Fudge evasively. "But we hope to catch Black long before that. I must say, You-Know-Who alone and friendless is one thing... but give him back his most devoted servant, and I shudder to think how quickly he'll rise again."
"And Poor Remina." Professor McGongall muttered. "What? Your former student? She was friend with Potter too, right?" Madam Rosmerta stated. "Yes, Antares Black happened to be her son with Sirius Black." Fude sighed. "Let hope the boy doesn't turn out like him."
"Oh, he is worser and more fucked up than any other Black." Aurelius smirks.
"Come on, Black. You are not a softie are you?" Feeling amuse, Coventina taunts Antares.
"Absolutely not." He smirks. "I can be rough if you want."
Coventina coughs.
"ANTARES BLACK!"
