𝟎𝟓𝟑; ᴅʀᴀᴘᴇᴛᴏᴍᴀɴɪᴀ

THE JOURNEY TO KING'S CROSS WAS very uneventful. The Ministry of Magic cars seemed almost ordinary.

They reached King's Cross with twenty minutes to spare; the Ministry drivers found them trolleys, unloaded their trunks.

Marlene kept close to her daughter, Delphina all the way into the station.
"Right then," She said, glancing around them. "Let's do this in pairs, as there are so many of us. I'll go through first with Draco."

"Marlene being a mother." Peter chuckles, the least thing that Marlene liked was children.

"Shut up." Marlene looks away.

Narcissa strolled toward the barrier between platforms nine and ten,
pushing Draco's trolley and apparently very interested in the Inter City 125 that had just arrived at platform nine. With a meaningful look at Antares, he leaned casually against the barrier.

"What were you thinking about?" Blaise asks Antares. "Your future death." He replies coldly.

"Still mad, I tried to take your girl?" Blaise smirks.

"You got rejected." Daphne smirks at Blaise's sudden pout.

In a moment, they had fallen sideways through the solid metal onto
platform nine and three- quarters and looked up to see the Hogwarts
Express, a scarlet steam engine, puffing smoke over a platform packed
with witches and wizards seeing their children onto the train.

Delphina suddenly appeared behind Antares. They were panting and had apparently taken the barrier at a run.

Delphina, Draco and Antares set off down the corridor, looking for an empty compartment, but all were full except for the one at the very end.

"Hello." Aelora smiled at she saw the three entering their compartment. "Hi!" Delphina grinned, placing herself next to him.

"Those two are like sunshine of their groups." Evan smiles.

"Like Narcissa and Pandora."

"Little goddess!" Antares smiled with an air of mischief around him. "Black." Coventina groaned annoyed.

"Aww." Antares smiles.

"I should have stayed at home." She mumbled not noticing the shocked expression on her friends's faces.

"I said that?" Coventina mumbled nervously.

"The Laskos Manor is your home after all, so is the Potter's." Achilles tells her.

"And the Malfoy." Lucius looks at his niece with a smile. Not only was Coventina the only girl in the Potter family for centuries, she was also the first in the Malfoy after centuries.

"Home." Anastacius smiled at her. "We have a new professor." Aeloea stated. "Professor R. J. Lupin," Granger said as she stood in front the compartment.

"Black nee Lupin." Sirius pouts.

"May I sit here?" She asked nervously.

"Whatever." Coventina looked outside.

"I am surprise to see her there."

"How d'you know that?" Antares raised a brown and smiled fakely
at her. "It's was her case," she replied.

"Fake asholle." Draco scoffed at he saw Antares smiling which was mostly a mocking one.

"Fuck off, dear ferret cousin."

"It's Remina Black, but I guess, she preferred keeping her maiden name at Hogwart." Draco told Hermione.

"Granger right?" Coventina turned her attention on her. "Hm- yes." She replied.

"Okay."

"She is going to teach, Defense Against the Dark Arts." Delphina informed Anastacius with a bright smile.

"I know." He replied coldly, "Hmfp,
so grumpy." She pouted.

"Aww! I ship!" Alice squeals.

"They are so cute!" The shippers smiles and coos

Hermione pressed her lips together and say, "Sirius Black escaped to come after you?" She looked at Coventina. "Trouble seem to always f-"

"I don't go looking for trouble," said Coventina shrugged. "Trouble usually
finds me." Antares smirked.

"No wonder, I am attract to you." He grinned while Draco chuckled.

"Like father like son." Regulus sighs exasperate. "Something never change." Orion sighs.

"Look who are talking." Walburga snickers watching her husband and youngest son.

The rain thickened as the train sped yet farther north; the windows were
now a solid, shimmering gray, which graduily darkened until lanterns
flickered into life all along the corridors and over the luggage racks. The train rattled, the rain hammered, the ind roared.

"I hope for a peaceful year." said Delphina, leaning forward to look past Aelora at the now completely black window. The words had hardly left him when the train started to slow down.

"It's your fault." Daphne tells Delphina with a deadpans expression.

"Lies!"

"Amazing." said Draco sarcastically as he stook up and walking carefully past Aelora to try and see outside.

"We can't be there yet," said Hermione, checking her watch.

"So why're we stopping?" The train was getting slower and slower. As the noise of the pistons fell away, the wind and rain sounded louder than ever against the windows.

"I have a bad feeling." Euphemia plays with her necklace around her neck nervously.

"Damn my bloodline." James frowns.

Anastacius, who was nearest the door, got up to look into the corridor. All along the carriage, heads were sticking curiously out of their
compartments.

The train came to a stop with a jolt, and distant thuds and bangs told
them that luggage had fallen out of the racks. Then, without warning,
all the lamps went out and they were plunged into total darkness.

"'What's going on?" said Weasley's voice from behind Delphina. "Ouch!" gasped Hermione. "Ron, that was my foot!"

Coventina rolled her eyes, when she saw Weasley and made her way back to his seat. "D'you think we've broken down?"

"I don't think so." Theodore sighs.

"Dunno..."

There was a squeaking sound, and Antares saw the dim black outline of Weasley, wiping a patch clean on the window and peering out.

"There's something moving out there," Weasley said. "I think people are coming aboard...." The compartment door suddenly opened and someone fell painfully over
Draco's legs.

"Damn him!" Draco frowns.

"Sorry, d'you know what's going on?Ouch, sorry!" "Hello, Neville." Aelora said with a smile.

"Aelora ? Is that you? What's happening?"

"Aww, is it me or do they look cute together?" Euphemia smiles.

"I think so too." Lilia coos.

"I am snitching to Al." Draco snickers ignoring the glare Aelora gives him.

"Me too." Coventina smirks.

"Don't side with him!"

"No idea , but you should sit down."
There was a loud hissing and a yelp of pain: Neville had tried to sit on
Crookshanks, Hermione Granger's pet.

"I'm going to go and ask the driver what's going on," came Granger's
voice. Draco felt her pass him, heard the door slide open again, and
then a thud and two loud squeals of pain.

"Who's that?"

"Who's that?"

"Ginny?"

"Hermione?"

"What are you doing?"

"Come in and sit down --" "Not here, you dam red head!" Draco groaned.

"Not liking a girl sitting on you?" Daphne chuckles. "Do you prefer a guy?" She adds teasingly.

"F-fuck off, Daphne." Draco blushes.

"Ouch!" said Neville.

"Quiet!" said a stern voice suddenly.
Professor Lupin appeared to have woken up at last. Coventina could hear movements in her corner.

None of them spoke.

There was a soft, crackling noise, and a shivering light filled the
compartment. Professor Lupin appeared to be holding a handful of flames.

"Mother." Antares looked at his mother with a confused face well no one could actually see his expression.

"It's was fake, was not it?" Draco looks at his cousin who nods boredly.

"What is the real you?" Coventina asks him coldly.

"Whenever I am around you." Antares replies lovingly.

"Stay where you are," she said in the same stern voice, and she got slowly to her feet with her handful of fire held out in front of her.

Sirius smirks watching his future wife, "Moony! You are so cool!"

"My role model." Daphne cheers.

But the door slid slowly open before Remina could reach it. Standing in the doorway, illuminated by the shivering flames in Remina's hand, was a cloaked figure that towered to the ceiling. Its face was completely hidden beneath its hood.

"A dementor!!"

Coventina's eyes darted downward, and what she saw made her stomach contract. There was a hand protruding from the cloak and it was glistening, grayish, slimy-looking, and scabbed, like something dead that had decayed in water...

"T-that's what you saw?" Aelora gulps.

Coventina nods.

But it was visible only for a split second. As though the creature
beneath the cloak sensed Coventina's gaze, the hand was suddenly withdrawn into the folds of its black cloak.

And then the thing beneath the hood, whatever it was, drew a long, slow,
rattling breath, as though it were trying to suck something more than
air from its surroundings. An intense cold swept over them all. Coventina felt her own breath catch in her chest.

The cold went deeper than her skin. It was inside her chest, it was inside her very heart.... Coventina's eyes rolled up into her head. She couldn't see. She was drowning in cold. There was a rushing in her ears as though of water.

She was being dragged downward, the roaring growing louder. . And then, from far away, she heard screaming, terrible, terrified, pleading screams. She recognize those screams, she want to get out, to get out of this hell-hole she wa-

Coventina tenses, she want to get out of here, it was if she was being choke, air being taken from her.

She want to run, to escape far away from here.

Many attentions were on her, eyes watching her, judging her as if they know everything about her.

"Venti! Venti! Are you all right?"
Someone was shaking her shoulders.

"W-what?"

Coventina opened her eyes; there were lanterns above her, and the floor was shaking -- the Hogwarts Express was moving again and the lights had come back on. She seemed to have slid out of his seat onto the floor. Aelora and Anastacius were kneeling next to her, and above them she could see Remina who was worried with Delphina.

"You okay?" James watches his daughter softly, wanting to hug her.

"I am fine, papa."

Coventina felt very sick; when she put up her hand over her mouth and slowly allow Antares to help her sit up.

"Wipe that..grin off your face,
Black." Coventina tells Antares.

"Never."

"Are you okay?" Delphina asked nervously. "Yeah," said Coventina looking quickly toward the door. The hooded creature had vanished.

"What was that thing?" Aelora asked Remina. "A dementor," Remina replied, she was now giving chocolate to everyone else. "One of the dementors of Azkaban."

Everyone stared at her. Remina crumpled up the empty chocolate
wrapper and put it in her bag. "Eat," she repeated. "It'll help. I need to speak to the driver, excuse me..." She kissed Antares's forehead and patted Delphina, Coventina and Draco's.

Remina smiles at the scene, she was happy that Coventina didn't reject the attention she gave her.

"What happened?" Coventina demanded.

"Well -- that thing -- the dementor -- stood there and looked around (I
mean, I think it did, I couldn't see its face) -- and you -- you.."

"I thought you were having a fit or something," said Draco bluntly. "You went sort of rigid and fell out of your seat and started twitching-"

"Draco!" Narcissa looks at her son with a stern looks.

"I was saying the truth, you told me to never lie." Draco smirks with Lucius who smiles innocently.

"Those two..." Narcissa sigh softly.

"And Professor Lupin stepped over you, and walked toward the dementor, and pulled out his wand," said Granger, "and he said, 'None of us is hiding Sirius Black under our cloaks. Go.' But the dementor didn't move, so Lupin muttered something, and a silvery thing shot out of his wand at it, and it turned around and sort of glided away.... "

"Patronus charm." Marlene smiles proudly at Remina.

"I love that charm." Antares smiles.

"It was horrible," said Neville, in a higher voice than usual. "Did YOU
feel how cold it got when it came in?"

"Yes," Antares looked at Coventina, "How do you feel?" He asked her softly.

"I am fine."

"You look pale though." Antares pointed out, he gently placed his
hand over her forehead. "And cold."

"Aww."

"Just kiss alread-" "They are thirteen."

"I love their hate-love."

"Deadly." Draco snickered, ignoring the glare Coventina gave her.

"I will feed you to Aamon." Coventina threatens coldly.

"You would never, you would tears up and beg me to forgive you." Draco states dramaticly.

"Stupid."

"Let's try to relax!" Aelora sat next
to Coventina and hugged her.

Whatever it was a dementor or not, Coventina does not want to feel this again.

Coventina frowns, she hate feeling helpless and fortunately the dementors were on her side.
