Amongst the many rounds that had taken place before Round 9, half of the competitors had found themselves lying dead on the floor. The other half of them barely making it out alive. 

Stakes had now risen. They were getting closer to winning Alien Stage, each one of them, but they knew only one would survive, it was always like this. The aliens weren't interested on two winners. 

Of course, because of the rounds that had introduced each of our fellow competitors, many were already gaining fans, especially for Vanta and Luka, with their impeccable performance, especially with Vanta's speech to Miko after winning the 4th Round— whom both received titles like the Prince and King of Alien Stage. after the progress of rounds, fans had given the title 'Queen' to Miko, noticing a cute pairing between the King and Queen of Alien Stage, AKA Vanta and Miko. 

The top three where introduced in order as Vanta, Luka, and Hyuna, Miko, to everyone's surprise, didn't make it to the podium. Her performance, a brief song, hadn't showcased her full potential, and it cost her. 

When the first half of all the Rounds had been finished, each competitor was given a week break  to process interviews, advertisements, and rest. 

But even during times like these, some had formed special bonds and regarded each other as friends or family. But due to the nature of the competition, those bonds were meant to break.

Luckily for the intelligence of these Aliens, a translator was available to make these Interviews happen.

BROADCAST STARTING.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬: 𝘝𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢

Segyien Reporter: Vanta! How are you feeling? I hope Yuei's death didn't scare ya! Didn't it?

Vanta: Not at all! (Of course, I'm keeping a professional facade...) 

Segyein Reporter: Wow, how bout' it! Say, what did you tell Miko right after the performance? We didn't have a near perfect chance to capture it on camera!

Vanta: Oh? You want me to repeat what I said to Miko? (But those were only meant for Miko...)

Segyein Reporter: Oh, certainly!

Vanta: With my amazing charm, I had charmingly reach out my hand to her and said- 'Oh, Miko! Did you see my performance? I hope you certainly enjoyed it! Let me be your prince charming!' (Good thing I didn't repeat it perfectly, I only wanted Miko to hear it, not these dumb Aliens that could take her away at any time....) 

Segyein Reporter: Really? You look like some lovestruck fool!

Vanta: What?—

Segyein Reporter: Onto our next guest!

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬: 𝘔𝘪𝘬𝘰

Segyein Reporter: The one and only Miko of ALIEN STAGE!! How was it like to perform out there?

Miko: Not bad.

Segyein Reporter: Not bad? Is that all? Surely you must be scared or nervous, right?

Miko: No. (Why does he keep asking questions?)

Segyein Reporter: Alright! Uhm— Aren't you mad you didn't reach the podium? You sure looked pretty devastated! 

Miko: No. (I did?) 

Segyein Reporter: R-really? How so? W-what are you feeling right now?

Miko: I don't like when you ask lot's of questions.

Segyein Reporter: ... A-alright then!! (Hehe... I hope they cut the cameras right now! But to the Anakt lords I wanted to ask her about what she felt about the ship with Vanta the fans seem to like...)

Segyein Reporter: Hehe... Unfortunately, we were unable to retrieve both Luka and Hyuna for their interviews, both were strickly told by their guardians they could not guest on any interviews! That will be all folks, goodnight!

Not the type of chapter you expected, huh? I did tell ya guys that the next round would be 9, not that it would be the next chapter I would write! Hehe~ 

Sorry for those who were expecting Round 9 tho.... I was trying to do a brief summary at the start of the chapter— but it kinda just turned into a whole page of my yapping abt it-

But I love the part for the interviews, add a nice touch of sanity within Alien Stage, don't cha think? 

Anyways... The next chapter WILL be Round 9, I'm counting myself on that!! If it's not (0.0000000000001 likely) Then I might find myself running for my life from yall—
