It was well known around the Wizarding World that the Potter couple was infertile. It brought shame knowing that they couldn't produce an heir.

Not only were the Potters important but they were royalty. The Potters' royal line dates back to the founding house of Hogwarts. Since there were no remaining families left in the other house the Potters took over without any objection.

As the couple grew older they began to try and produce after failed attempts and miscarriages. The world put pressure on Euphemia though her husband Fleamont Potter was the one with the problems.

Finally, after years of infertility, they had a son, James Fleamont Potter. They were overjoyed with the thought of a child. Not long after the birth of James, Euphemia fell pregnant again, this time there were complications.

She began to feel weak throughout the pregnancy making the people and her family worried that they would lose their queen.

Until they were told of a rare flower that blooms with the power of healing and youth. The kingdom knights searched for the flower while the Queen began labor and later a princess was born, Princess Rapunzel Potter.
