summary

THE PLANET OF Zuumor was barely large enough to be seen on maps. To those who spent their lives looking through the systems in the galaxy, it was a planet silently renowned for it's peace and sufficient nature- a Heaven without crime or darkness that was just far enough away from the plague that touched everything else. The force never quite reached the golden sky line or diamond encrusted temples with the evil that seaped through every morsel of it's bones; somehow the land that left the force to die out after the great war hadn't ever felt the impact of a darkness so powerful it ruined the golden beams that showered down on their rich soil and clear streams.

It was a utopia of kindness and trust, a utopia unlike anywhere else in the many systems it called home that looked like it was perfected by the light, without a single ornament of shade against it's orbit. Like glass.

But nothing was ever pure- there couldn't be light without a balancing darkness that could ruin every soul it touched without fail- and Zuumor was no different. There was the smallest speck of magnificent colour that ruined the clear glass of a planet nobody would've thought to remember; he felt it from the other end of the universe.

He felt her, who gave the darkness the final push it needed to consume his soul, and in return, told her why she was drawn towards sin in a world of angels. They were supposed to fix each other, and yet, all they seemed to do was draw the other further and further from their undesired fate.
