Lando Norris talks about f1, mental health and relationships...

Lando Norris is one of the most spoken about in the driver's world, he's known for his extremely good talent in driving, his good sense of humour and some might even say his good looks. We have asked him to talk about some hot topics surrounding his name and how he thinks about them.

"Formula 1 has always been my dream when I was younger, there was no other option than becoming a driver." Norris says with a big smile. "If I wasn't a driver I would probably be a footballer or golfer, but it doesn't give me thrill like driving does." He explains.

We have asked him what his highlights were in his f1 career so far. "Definitely my first podium in Austria, being teammates with Carlos Sainz, we have build such a good friendship together, and then definitely my first win in Miami." He later tells us how proud he was of Carlos his win Singapore, when they shared a podium together.

We asked him about the mental aspect of racing, how does it play a role on a daily basis.

"I have struggled a lot mentally, not only because of social media, it drained me reading all those people having opinions about you. But the media is worse at race weekends, they harass you with questions and follow you around, you can't fight back to them because you'll be portrayed badly."

Lando Norris has worked with different kinds of charities about mental health. He finds it important that everyone finds help if they need it.

"I always want to adress to people that talking with someone helps, it can be with a stranger or a help line, just know that you or someone else is not alone." His concern heard in his voice.

We asked Lando who supports him at difficult times but also the good ones.

"Definitely my mother, she has been there since I was little with my father, I owe them everything. I have my siblings who are there occasionally at races, but we always call or text on special days." Norris speaks proudly of his family.

"I also have my friends, Max Fewtrell one of them. He's a childhood friend and ex driver, he knows what it is when I struggle." Lando speaks his gratitude towards his best friend.

We have asked Lando if there is a powerful woman behind him, or has been.

"I had a beautiful girlfriend, sadly we broke up two years ago under circumstances, she was always supportive of me, on days where I was struggling with myself, she was there. I miss her dearly, but sometimes everything finds its way back to each other.

We asked him if he was talking about Gianna Lister, he doesn't give an answer but nods a little. The two broke up because of cheating rumours, they haven't spoken since the breakup.

"I don't want to address anything because I didn't do anything, media tells the world lies and everyone believes it. People who truly know me and the situation know better."

We asked him if there was no girl around now.

"No, and I'm not looking for one right now, I want to finish this season and then relax until next season's here."
