"I hope you're right."

"Peter", May said as she hugged her nephew.

The group of high school students had exited the airport and all the parents were waiting for them to bring them back home. MJ and Peter had walked hand in hand through the exit and parted as they saw their parents/ guardian. Sitting in May's red car, she drove off. The music on the radio was quietly playing in the background as Peter watched the city he had missed the past week.

"Happy told me everything.", May broke the silence as she stopped at a red light.

"You know that I'm real.", she turned to face her nephew who looked at her. A nod was his reply.

"I know. I don't think that there will be any more illusions. I destroyed all the drones, May.", Peter said and put his hand on hers that was on the wheel.

He gave her a small reassuring smile and then let go as soon as the traffic light changed from red to yellow and then to green.

"Can we maybe stop by Mr. Delmar? I missed his sandwiches.", May nodded and they took a right turn at the next crossroad.

The afternoon sun was reflected in the windows of the Daily Bugle News building. A helicopter flew above the city and cars were honking at the slow traffic. Peter missed New York though Europe was very beautiful and incredibly interesting. He still had the black dahlia necklace in his backpack he had bought in Venice. He'd bought it to give it to Michelle for her seventeenth birthday. Though her birthday wasn't going to be in a few months.

"Tell me about your trip. I'm curious why you and MJ were standing closer than usual.", May laughed.

"Well, I haven't told you, but... I may or may not have told her that I love her.", suddenly May pressed her foot on the breaks making the car stop in the middle of the street. Luckily there wasn't a car behind them or else there would have been an accident.

"You're what?", her eyes were widened. A smile was gracing her lips as she waited for Peter's answer.

"I've been in love with her since before... you know.", Peter said and was twiddling his thumbs avoiding eye contact.

"My my, why haven't you told me. For god's sake, Peter, you've grown to a wonderful young man.", May said and started the car again slowly driving down the street.

"I was scared okay. I've never experienced it and I didn't want to fuck this all up. MJ is really important to me. Plus I know what you'd say to me if I told you. I just wanted to do this on my own.", Peter admitted looking at May.

"Peter do you kiss MJ with that mouth.", May said laughingly, stopping again by a red light.

"Anyway, Peter I'm happy for you and MJ, you know that right. I love you so much. And I do hope you know that.", Peter nodded. "But I'm kinda disappointed that you didn't tell me. I thought there would be no secrets between us after your whole-", she moved her hand mid-air. " spiderman fiasco."

"I know, I know.", the traffic light was green again.

The whole ride to Mr. Delmar's Samdwich shop Peter told her what he did in Europe, how he heard Tony's voice for the last time and that he still had the glasses. He may have demanded EDITH to destroy everything but Peter knew that destroying the glasses was a no-go. He promised himself that he would give the glasses to Pepper knowing she needed them more than he did, after all, Anthony Edward Stark was her husband.

"The usual?", Peter and May had finally arrived at the sandwich shop and ordered. The brown-haired boy nodded to Mr. Delmar's question.

Peter then went towards the sleepy cat and caressed him. He always wanted to own a pet and the closest thing he got to one was by coming here. But know with his whole heroism he didn't have time to even think about having a pet. And sometimes that little thought evolved to the questions if he even had time for kids. Peter knew that he was too young for even considering to have children on his own but he couldn't stop thinking about his future. What if he had kids and they shared his radioactive DNA? Would they have his powers? How would he keep track on them if they did? What would his future wife say? What would MJ think about?

Wait, wait, wait. MJ? Peter stopped thinking. He couldn't have thought about a future with his very first girlfriend. But now that the thought had occurred to him he could see her in a beautiful wedding dress walking down the aisle with her dad and a big smile would graze her beautiful features.

"Why you smiling like you won the lottery?", May asked as they sat down at a table.

Peter's eyes widened. He did not think about that. He never did. And no one would know.

"It's MJ, isn't it?", May added not having got a reply.

"What? No. Me thinking about my girlfriend, Impossible.", Peter avoided any eye contact with his aunt as blood was rising to his cheeks coloring them pink.

"Sure, that's impossible.", May said but the tone of her voice and the way she looked told him everything. She didn't believe him.

Both Parkers ate their sandwiches before leaving the sandwich shop. Saying "Ciao.", to Mr. Delmar before the door closed behind them. They climbed into May's car and drove off. Peter could practically hear how his room was calling after him. As they arrived, May parked the car and they both exited it. The suitcase was taken from the trunk of the car and Peter rolled it behind him as they entered the building. The elevator ride was peaceful and Peter could feel the exhaustion slowly taking over his body. With a 'ding' the doors of the elevator opened and they exited it. Walking down the hallway, May took out her keys from her purse and opened their apartment door.

"Home Sweet Home.", Peter said as he laid down on the couch, closing his tired eyes.

May laughed at her Nephew's sudden behavior. She took a pillow and slapped him softly with it on the head. "Go take off your clothes and sleep in your room.", she laughed and watched as Peter made his way to his room closing his door.

May took Peter's suitcase, opened it and put all his clothes into a laundry basket. While she did that, several different Spider-Man suits came to light. One of them was halfway burnt, but May knew that Peter had this kind of machine that could repair his suit no matter how big the damage was. The other suit was all black and she remembered seeing in the news that there was a "Night Monkey in Prague". Shaking her head laughingly she put it together with his other suits. May was kind of relieved that no one had to find out about him being Spider-Man in the airport though they were a lot of X-Ray machines to control the baggage for any kind of danger.

When she was finished, May walked down to Peter's room. She opened her door and saw her nephew sleeping peacefully on his bed. She smiled but when she saw that he had fallen asleep with his day clothes on, she got furious. She considered to wake him up, but then she regretted thinking that, knowing what he had been through all week.

His chest was rising up and down with his breathing. May kissed Peter on his forehead and covering him with his blanket. "Goodnight Pete. Your Parents and Ben would be so proud of you.", with that, she closed the door to his room.

But little did she know that Peter had heard her and a silent tear was rolling down his cheek. "I hope you're right.", he whispered before dozing off to sleep, it's been a long day.

I hope you enjoyed that cute little chapter. I love May so much and I'm still mad that she was in the movie for a few minutes. I missed writing about her cause she's such an amazing character and Marisa Tomei is, in my opinion, such a great actress. I do hope we get to see more of her in the future.

BTW Euphoria I loved it. Though HBO isn't available in Germany. And no I have not watched it on some illegal website. The first episode was on YouTube and someone had sent me the second one as a video because they have screen recorded it. And I watched the other episode on YouTube with Clips which means not everything. I still loved it and if you have the chance to watch it then do it. Zendaya's acting is amazing there. And she portrayed Rue so well, it was like watching someone who wasn't Zendaya. Cause I actually forgot that this was a TV show.
