Peter and Felicia had discarded their civilian clothes and were now swinging across the NYC skyline urgently as they followed the trail of police cars racing toward danger. The couple then gets a phone call from Captain Yuri.

"Hey, you two. I just a call from Rykers. It looks like our old friend Herman Schultz is at it once again."

"Oooh, what a......shocker." Felicia jokes.

Peter chuckled. "Nice one, Cat. You're turning into me little by little."

Yuri groaned in protest. "Oh god. Please no. I already have my hands full with you Spider-Man. I don't need another one."

Felicia giggled and spoke. "Anyway, I thought Herman's parole was declined, Yuri."

"Yeah, I thought so too. But someone made a bail for him after it didn't take."

"No worries. Herman's a big cupcake."

"Yeah, a cupcake with sonic blasters. The last time you fought him he had busted your eardrums." Felicia reminded.

Peter winced and spoke. "Yep, don't remind me, Baby. That one took a while for me to heal up from."

"Anyhoo we'll have Shocker back in Rykers by bedtime, Babe," Felicia said and hung up.

The couple reaches their main objective and lands across from a local bank just in time to see Shocker blasting his way out through the entrance doors. He held bags of money and spotted the crime-fighting couple.

"Hi, Herman." Peter greets.

"Ugh, seriously? You two?" Shocker growled.

"So what's new with you, Quilty?" Felicia asked.

Herman pushed himself off the ground while groaning annoyed and left the scene with a loud crash vibrating off the ground.

Felicia gasped offended and said. "How rude,"

"I'll chase him, Cat. And you'll cut him off," Peter said.

"Copy that, Spider," Felicia said as they
split up.

Unfortunately for Shocker, he didn't get that far as he noticed Spider-Man was following him closely.

"Give it up. You're never gonna catch me." Herman said.

"That's what you said last time."

"I don't want to hurt you or your girlfriend. You two will just slow me down."

"Aw well, that's considerate," Felicia said.

The chase of cat and mouse continued past the Brooklyn Bridge. Then Shocker stopped bouncing on the streets and onto the rooftops with Black Cat trailing behind them as well.

"What's all that money for, Herman?" Felicia asked as she was very curious about Shocker's behavior and actions.

"Why the hell do you care, Cat?" Herman yelled out.

"One. Because you know the police are watching your every room, so you shouldn't be robbing again. And two. I thought you weren't gonna be robbing anymore. You promised me you would be going straight this time ." Felicia said in a disapproving motherly tone.

"Heh. Well, I lied, Cat. Sometimes you just can't change who you are really." Herman yelled out.

"That's not true, Herman. I know theirs some good in you. And I also know that you're desperate and must not be stealing just for yourself this time." Felicia said.

"He's working with someone or FOR someone." Peter pointed out.

"Look, Herman. We can help you get out of this mess unharmed. So you have two choices you can either tell us right now or we can just beat it out of you instead. Your choice, Quilty," Felicia said.

Shocker shoots his seismic blasts at the superhero couple and they dodged them just barely as it grazed them.

Peter winced feeling a burning sensation and comments. "I'm guessing that's a no,"

"That was a warning shot and I'm done talking. Now leave me alone. Before it gets even worse." Herman roared out.

"N-Not gonna happen, Herman," Felicia said a hint of pain in her voice.

Felicia then cuts off Shocker by surprise in Chinatown by delivering a wicked swing kick to his face mid-air. Then Peter catches up and tackles Herman off his feet as they crash land on the roof of a nearby Chinese restaurant.

"I gotcha. Now let's talk." Peter said.

"I said......I'm done fucking talking!" Herman yelled out at the top of his lungs fuming.

Shocker's body shook uncontrollably and the next thing Peter knew he was then blasted with a seismic blast that was so powerful it sent him flying off the rooftop and into freefall.

"Peter!" Felicia yelled out and dived down hoping to catch him in time.

Peter was knocked silly but just in the nick of time, Felicia swooped in and scooped her boyfriend in her arms as she shielded him from the brutal impact. Both their bodies collided with the array of fruits and vegetables on display at a nearby farmers market. A huge crack formed on the rocky pavement and the superhero couple lay there as broken wood and produce lays scattered around them.

Felicia groaned feeling a sharp pain in her rib cage. "Oh, shit. Those are broken most certainly."

Felicia carefully sat upright on the floor as she held her ribs and sighed agitated getting another call from Captain Yuri.

"He got away didn't he?" Yuri asks.

"Yes, But just narrowly. We almost had him."

"Fuck. Well, don't worry about it. You guys can catch him another time as we're still monitoring his movements. Anyway did you by any chance get to find out a motive?"

"Not really. He wasn't very talkative, Yuri. Plus I think he hates us."

"I'm dumbstruck. I can see him hating Peter as that's the effect he has on a lot of people. I tolerate him. But hating you, Cat? He has no taste."

"Obviously, Babe. I'm purfect." Felicia said giggling and regretting it immediately as a wave of pain hit her.

Felicia groaned loudly. "Oh, right."

"Hey, are you and Peter alright?" Yuri asked.

Felicia glanced over toward her boyfriend who was still not awake. "Not really. Peter is knocked out cold and I have a broken rib or two."

"Tell me your location. I'll send over some EMTs right away."

"We're in Chinatown, Manhattan. Near a farmers market and hurry I don't think I can handle the pain much longer

"Okay. I'll be right there. Just hang on, Cat."

A few painful long minutes passed and on the scene were the EMTs as promised and Yuri. They patched up Felicia gave her antibiotics wrapped her stomach in a bandage as well and tapped an ice bag to her injured area to reduce the swelling.

Peter on the other hand was just now waking up after the chase with Shocker. Peter sat upright in bed inside of an ambulance as he saw the EMTs and immediately got on the offense. He touched his face thinking he was unmasked and then felt two soft feminine hands on his chest calming him down. Peter immediately called down to see his girlfriend with him and also Yuri.

"W-What happened, Cat?" Peter asks.

"Well, we were chasing down Shocker across NYC as he had robbed another bank again. I guess we poked fun at him too much because the next thing you know he was fuming and he shot you with a very powerful seismic blast. You fell off a roof but I caught you just in time before you could be a squashed bug on the ground and cushioned your fall. Unfortunately, Shocker got away from us in the process."

Peter nodded and listened as he glanced at her tapped-up ribs. "You should have let me fall and gone after him instead, Kitty. I would have understood."

"And let you die in the process? No, thank you. As we can catch Shocker another time, Spider. You aren't doing this alone anymore. You have me to look out for you too." Felicia said and kissed his cheek.

Peter blushed under the mask and then glanced at Yuri. "I'm guessing you are pretty pissed he got away huh, Captain?"

"A tad bit. But your well-being is what matters to me most right now." Yuri said smiling a bit.

She pulls out a pen and notepad. "Felicia told me her side of the story and now I need yours if you're up to it."

Peter nodded. "W-Well like Felicia said we were chasing down Shocker as he had just robbed another bank again."

"How did Shocker seem to you?" Yuri asks as she writes down his responses.

"Untalkative, agitated, desperate, and angry. His seismic blasts were no joke this time. Usually, when I get with them they don't hurt as much but this time it was different. I think he got an upgrade or something."

"It makes perfect sense. Felicia theorized that Shocker could be working with or for someone. Do you have any ideas who it could be?"

"My guess is maybe one of the members from the Sinister Six?"

"But most of them we put away in Rykers," Felicia adds.

"So he could be working for someone new then. Interesting." Yuri said.

Yuri has a suspicion about who Shocker could be working for and it ties in with the Demon Gang as Peter and Felicia call it. The gang has been spotted not just at Fisk Auction Sit but also around NYC doing illegal activities. It can't just be a random coincidence, right?

"Yuri? Hello?" Felicia said waving a hand in front of her face.

Yuri snapped back to reality and blushed a hint of embarrassment. "Oh, sorry. I was just thinking about who Shocker could be working for."

"Any developments?"

"I have a hunch but I would need more evidence before I could tell you guys. Anyways I'll see you two in the morning." Yuri said and yawned tiredly getting out of the ambulance.

"Get some rest. You two look like hell." Yuri jokes.

Felicia giggled. "Right back at you, Babe. Take your advice and get some beauty sleep."

Yuri smirked and spoke. "Oh, hush you. I don't need sleep in naturally beautiful." Yuri joked which earned laughter from Peter and Felicia.

"The ambulance will take you guys back home incognito. So you two don't have to worry about being followed."

Yuri was about to close the doors when Peter spoke up. "Wait. Uh, thank you, Yuri. For everything."

Yuri nodded and smiled. "No problemo, Spidey. Now goodnight and sweet dreams or whatever the hell it is." She said jokingly and closed the doors.

Peter and Felicia snorted out laughter as they were very grateful to have an ally and friend like Captian Yuri on their side. It made things a lot easier for them to at least have someone on the police force who understood them and had the same goal of protecting New York.

With a few taps on the door of the vehicle, she drove to Peter and Felicia's penthouse in Manhattan. Once inside the pair tiredly took off their super suits and crashed onto the comfy couch as they couldn't make it to their bedroom even if they wanted to. Then a four-legged black and white feline named Isis graciously walked toward her parents and meowed at them. She had missed them dearly and hadn't seen them all day since breakfast. So she jumped on the couch and carefully walked up towards them as she got comfortable and laid on top of them as they slept. She meowed again adorably and closed her eyes and she drifted off to sleep with her parents.

A/N: This was my favorite chapter to write so far as I like how I write Felicia and Peter in this and the interaction with Yuri. Oh and FYI Felicia when she was a criminal was never caught by the NYPD so they don't have any record of her like her father when he was a cat burglar too. Yuri knows who Spider-Man and Black Cat really are as she has been keeping this secret for a long time and is the only cop that Peter and Felicia trust. Well, that is on till they meet Officer Jefferson Davis later on in the story.
