CASSIDY SINCLAIR's life was a patchwork of confusion and grief when she woke from her coma. Returning to school meant facing pitying stares, whispers in the hallways, and the suffocating kindness of classmates who didn't know how to talk to her anymore. Cassidy, however, refused to be reduced to a tragic figure. She retaliated with her trademark sharp wit and sour humor, pulling off elaborate pranks and finding ways to cause trouble. It became her coping mechanism, a way to channel the frustration and pain she couldn't voice.

Despite her outward mischief, Cassidy's heart ached with every passing day that Max remained in a coma. The grief she carried burned brightly beneath her defiance, driving her to push boundaries as if acting out could somehow make the world pay for what it had taken from her. She still visited Max whenever she could, even after long days at school, talking to her as if she might finally answer back.

His presence sent waves of fear through Hawkins, but for Cassidy, it reignited a desperate determination. She knew she couldn't sit on the sidelines, even in a wheelchair. She and her friends had fought Vecna before, and they had to finish the job now. This time, Cassidy wasn't just fighting to protect Hawkins-she was fighting to save Max.

For Cassidy, the stakes couldn't be higher. She had to overcome her limitations, unite with her friends, and confront the nightmare that had turned her life upside down. Cassidy wasn't just battling Vecna to bring an end to his reign of terror; she was fighting for the girl she loved and the chance to reclaim the future that had been stolen from them both. Every move she made, every risk she took, was fueled by the hope that she could bring Max back-and that hope was what kept her going.
