Soul entered the bathroom and switched on the shower, immediately going and standing under it. She had heard the call of a seashell and just knew it was Attuma. She didn't know whether to go to the call or ignore it. As her mind was clouded with thoughts, she didn't even notice Riri sitting on the bathroom counter waiting patiently but concerned for Soul. A few seconds later Soul stepped out of the shower, and finally noticed Riri there.
"Aye, you good?" Riri asked, hopping off the counter as Soul grabbed a towel. "Mhm, why do you ask?" Soul raised a brow as she walked towards Riri.
"Cause you seem conflicted," Riri stated.
Soul pursed her lips, diverting her eyes to the floor. "I don't know what would make think that," Soul mumbled. Riri scoffed, "C'mon, we supposed to be there for each other and not keep secrets if we want this to work."
Soul looked up and furrowed her brows slightly, feigning confusion. "What to work? You can't just imply that we're in a relationship when it's not even close to that, Ri. I can't be with you like that as long as my father is alive, you know that. So-so don't imply that we're something when we're not! I don't even know if we can be together in general when I become queen." Soul spoke, her hands were shaky and it was clear something was making her act this way.
"Where is this all comin' from? Cause last night I'm pretty damn sure your lips were too busy attached to mine to mention all this." Riri countered, a bit taken off guard from Soulina's statement.
Soul shook her head and scoffed under her breath, "I'm just stating reality, Riri. This is never gonna work out. Once my dad's dead, I'm Queen, and I won't have time to be with you, if you even wanna be with me."
"Of course I wanna be with you but you keep givin' me all these mixed signals. How am I supposed to know what to do, Soul? I'm still tryin' to handle the fact that I might be in love with an actual mermaid!" Riri exclaimed, running her hands over her cornrows as she paced the room.
Soul furrowed her brows, feigning confusion as she looked at Riri who had now just realized what she said. "You're in love with me?" Soul tilted her head, a bit caught off guard.
"Uhh- I don't know," Riri stuttered, not sure what her feelings were.
"Oh. I'm just gonna go now. Shuri's waiting for me." Soul said before grabbing her clothes and walking out before Riri could stop her.

Soulina stood on the ship next to M'Baku, waiting for the Talokanils to arrive. She noticed that the ship was no longer invisible so that signaled that they were here. She still found herself amazed by Wakanda's technology.
The Talokan rushed to the surface, telling them that the machine Soul helped make was working. Shuri walked up to the front of the ship, in her Black Panther suit.
"Yibambe!" Everyone chanted.
One of their aircrafts shot at the Talokans, all of which they moved to dodge. Namor rised from the water and struck his spear into the front of the craft. "Not this time." Soul lifted her hands, using her powers to rise water from the ocean and jumped off the ship, the water holding her up and she landed onto the craft in front of Namor. Shuri raised her brows with an impressed look. This was the first time any of them seen her powers in action and to say they were cool was an understatement.
"Choose your side, Soulina," Namor stated. "What's it gonna be? Family or love?" Namor spoke as they both circled the craft.
"My family died a long time ago. I don't even know who you are." Soul stated and Namor glared at his daughter. Shuri used her strength and threw a spear to Soul who caught it without looking. She used her spear, hitting Namor and sending him into the air like he was a baseball. Only he caught himself before he could land into the water. Namor looked at Soul in shock and she smirked.
Soul ran to the front to the ship to make sure it would still work. She turned seeing that Namor was looking directly at Riri who was in her new and improved suit. Riri shot at him but he dodged each blast. "I don't think yo pops likes me very much!" Riri exclaimed and Soul rolled her eyes. "Him tryna to kill you the first time wasn't enough?!" Soul replied.
"You right."
Namor managed to grab the end of the other aircraft and throw it to the ship. Everyone ducked and the aircraft exploded at the end of it.
Soul landed back on the ship, landing next to Shuri. Soul noticed the sounds from the bottom of the ship no longer working and cursed under her breath. "Shit," Soul mumbled, assuming it must've been Namora. After all, she was one of the most powerful Talokans so she must've fought through the pain to destroy it.
The Dora Milaje jumped off the ship, the Jabari holding onto them with a wire attached to their backs. Shuri ran and jumped onto the side of the ship, fighting off some of the Talokans.
"Riri, how's it going over there?" Shuri asked as she continued fighting on the side of the ship.
"Mr Griot, I could really use that backup right now." Soulina heard Riri say.
"Don't see why I can't fight him yet," Soulina mumbled, directing that at Shuri. They had argued back and forth about letting her fight and Shuri did not want Soul fighting her father at all.
The Sunbird from the water shot up, firing at Namor who immediately began to fly up to avoid it. "Shit he's fast. But I'm faster." Riri flew up as the Sunbird shot small rockets at Namor. He flew up above the clouds but didn't notice Riri do the same.
"Got you!" Just as Namor turned around, Riri shot a blast at him. He fell, being taken off guard by the blast. Soul watched him fall from the sky, landing on the Sunbird that flew just perfectly to catch him.
"It's all you now, Shuri!" Riri said.
Soulina watched as Shuri jumped onto the Sunbird. "Please be careful," she mumbled to herself.
Shuri landed inside the Sunbird, Namor standing inside of it. "Princess."
"No!" Shuri's helmet came off. "I am the Black Panther and I'm here for retribution!"
"Evaporation cells, activated," Griot spoke. Namor looked at his hands, suddenly becoming dizzy and confused. He looked up seeing some kind of red heaters that were used to dehydrate him.
"What's wrong? You need a glass of water?" Shuri spoke up, taunting him.
Soul watched as Riri landed and she ran over. "Yo, we got him!" Riri said.
"Good!" M'Baku said.
"Namor has been captured! Back off!" Nakia announced to the Dora Milaje who were still fighting on the side of the ship. Soul checked on Riri, making sure she okay before Riri flew back up and Soul nodded at M'Baku. "Back to Wakanda!" M'Baku announced. The Jabari nodded and pulled the Dora Milaje back up. The ship sailed off but then their was some kind of blast felt under the ship.
"What is going on?" M'Baku asked.
"The Sonic emitter has been destroyed," the woman answered.
Soulina perked up hearing whale sounds. "That can't be good," M'Baku spoke.
"Grab onto something!" Soulina ordered just a ton of water bombs went off under the ship. It tipped the ship over and people grabbed on. Unfortunately a few Jabari fell off, only to be killed in the water by the Talokans.
"Shuri, I'm waiting for your signal," Soul spoke impatiently. "You can fight now," Shuri replied. Soul smirked and ran, jumping off the ship and holding onto the side of the ship.
Soulina used her powers, throwing some of the Talokans off the ship, even kicking a few off. Soul noticed Okoye and Aneka finally join the fight, in their new suits.
Soul's eyes widened seeing Attuma being launched onto the ship with more and more Talokans joining. "Stupid fucking fishstick," Soul climbed back onto the top.
The Talokans made it to the top, "Sink the ship!" Attuma ordered.
Soulina noticed one of the Dora fall off the ship and jumped down. "Ri, get the Dora!" Soul ordered. Soul fought off the Talokans trying to kill the Dora.
"I gotchu sis," Riri grabbed onto the Dora and she flew them back up.
Soul used the water to pull herself up but Namora grabbed her ankle and pulled her back down. "What is your problem, Mora?!" Soul grunted.
Soulina and Namora both fought, Namora getting the upper hand as she did have more combat skills than Soul. "You can't beat me, Lina! Just stay down and go home! This isn't your fight!" Namora argued, kicking Soul in the stomach.
Soul groaned and glared at Namora. "This is my fight, and I intend on winning it! This is why you ain't married bitch!" Soul punched Namora who held her face and looked at Soul, taken back by the last comment. Namora scoffed and used her spear and cut Soulina's torso before rising out of the water after jumping onto Riri who came to help Soul. Soul rised up and landed on the ship with a groan, holding her bleeding side.
"Capture Princess Lina!" Attuma ordered his people as he fought Okoye.
"Who the hell is Lina?!" M'Baku asked Soul.
Makena looked around warily, seeing a lot of Talokans begin to surround her. "It's me!" Soul replied.
"Protect the fish girl!" M'Baku ordered what was left of the Jabari.
"Fish girl?" Soul mumbled in offense. Sighing she threw a water blast at one of the men, sending him flying off the ship.
Yeah this only pissed the Talokans off even more. "Shit." Soul reached for her knife and furrowed her brows, not finding it. "Has anyone seen a golden knife anywhere?! It has carvings on it!" Soul asked.
"What golden knife?!" M'Baku asked in confusion, never seeing anyone have a golden knife just lying around somewhere.
"Nevermind!" Soul ran at the Talokan, stabbing into it's shoulder. Unfortunately she wasn't paying attention behind her and a Talokan slashed at her back. He grabbed a rope and went to tie her hands but Soul clenched her jaw and sent a huge water blast at them, only each one she got off, more ran to fight and capture her.
Soul was forced back to the back of the ship, a spear against her throat. They cut at her leg and she dropped to one knee with a groan. "Stay down, Princess!" Soul held her hand against the spear, using her strength to hold it from cutting into her throat. "Baby you okay?" Riri asked through coms.
"I'm good!" Soul chuckled nervously as she still held the spear back from her throat.
"May the ancestors save us! If the Princess doesn't hurry up!" M'Baku spoke as the Talokans surrounded them. Unable to let them help Soul.
"We may be going to join them," Ayo said.
"If so eh, let us take as many of them with us as we can!" Aneka responded confidently.
"Come on, Shuri," Soul spoke quietly. She shoved the spear away, ignoring the pain from it cutting her palms. Soul sent more water blasts at them, sending more and more off the ship. "Get to him, mama," Soul spoke to herself in Aquan, hoping that Monsella heard her. Each minute Soul used worrying about Shuri and Namor was each moment they'd get an advantage over her.
Shuri flipped in front of Namor and slowly rose to her feet. Namor weakly raised his fists, "King of Empire."
Shuri clicked something on her suit and made an 'x'. "Wakanda Forever!"
The end of the Sunbird's engine blasted, hitting Namor with fire as Shuri's helmet came over her head, protecting her from being hurt from the blast.
Namor fell to the ground with a weak groan, his body practically burned to crisp. Shuri used her foot to turn Namor onto his back. Her helmet came off and she looked down at his weak state. Her mind drifted to all the things he did to her, all the pain he caused her, all the pain he caused Wakanda.
Shuri pulled out the golden knife from her suit and leaned down, she held it up against his throat. Namor looked at the knife, recognizing it to be Monsella's but was passed down to Soul after she died. Soul never let that knife out of her sight so he wondered why she'd give it to Shuri.
Shuri's mind also drifted to her people, and his people. They both had a country to lead and protect. Her mind went to how much both of them lost. Namor lost his mother, but Shuri also lost hers.
"Shuri." A voice spoke. Shuri blinked in confusion and looked away from Namor, suddenly seeing her mother in the ancestral plane.
"Mother," Shuri spoke, on the verge of tears.
"Show him, who you are," Ramonda spoke, her voice filled with authority and power like always.
Shuri looked back down at Namor, "Yield. And Wakanda will protect your oceans. We will protect your secrets. Yield. And your people will live." Namor looked at her, not entirely sure he really had much of a choice.
"Vengeance has consumed us. We cannot let it consume our people." Shuri said. "Think about your daughter. Yield, or she will lose her father."
Namor looked at knife and noticed the carvings on it beginning to glow. As he glanced behind Shuri, he could see a glow of a woman's body and she wore a long traditional Talokan dress. The woman leaned down and her hand went to Namor's cheek, brushing her thumb over his face. "Monsella," Namor breathed out, tears threatening to fall.
Monsella smiled softly at her husband. "Make the right choice, K'uk'ulkan." Monsella stood up and walked away, but before she left she turned to look at him. "I see you." Namor blinked and she disappeared.
It took Namor a second to think about it, but seeing the image of Monsella holding a baby Soulina, he knew what he needed to do. "I give up." He yielded.
M'Baku, Nakia, Okoye, Aneka, Ayo, Riri and what was left of the Wakandans, all held up their spears/weapons in protection against the Talokans. They were forced to the front edge of the ship. Soul with cuts and bruises all of her body, she still fought against them, trying to get back to the front to help the Wakandans but they were doing a good job at keeping her away.
They kicked her spear off the ship, leaving her with no weapon. One slammed Soulina onto the ground and tied up her hands. Soulina clenched her teeth, trying to think of anything else but the pain and aching in her body. A male held his spear to her throat, almost daring her to move and she glared at him. Riri looked at Soul in concern, but Soulina gave her a nod, telling her she would be okay.
But then everyone looked over noticing one of the aircrafts hover in the air. The Black Panther and a clearly defeated Namor stood on it.
"Talokaniles! Let's go home. Our fight here is over." Namor spoke to his people in Mayan. All of them lowered their weapons and kneeled down, doing their traditional Talokan signal. "Release the Princess," Namor ordered, referring to Soulina who was happy to see that both Shuri and Namor were okay.
Namora and Attuma did as told and released the princess. Namora held out her hand and Soulina warily took it and let her help her up. Namora lead Soulina over to her people and Soul immediately leaned onto M'Baku for support. He held up the princess as Riri made sure she was okay. But Soulina's wounds had some kind of water protection to keep her from bleeding out.
"Wakanda Forever!"
