⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪ˎˊ˗ ——— 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐘  air from the air conditioner circled the quite busy place of people chattering away, some down into their devices, others trying the foods this cold place served at the moment and friends constantly taking photos whilst having a good time strolling around with their suitcases.

Bags of their belongings strapped behind their back or hanging loosely on their shoulders fit quite well on the occasion for the ticket that will grant them access to visit the place of their desires. You might find people visiting the ATM, finding more souvenirs to give to someone special (or not) and munching at small cafes or fast food places just to fill their bellies before the long trip ahead that they might sleep through.

Having a filled stomach and an iced chocolate mocha near her on her desk, she bobbed her head to the music playing in her airpods, she kept her brown eyes at the tall gentleman who was busy trying to get some currency from his bank account in the ATM machine.

"Nepheli..." a little voice called to her, pulling her oversized yet stylish autumn, solid zipper hoodie by the hem, she pried her eyes off of the tall man and placed them on the curly headed boy who held his deadpan expression quite nicely on his tan and white patched face.

"Mmm?" she hummed her response shifting the right side of her headphones off her ear, a satisfying jingle of her cloud earrings perked the small one's attention. She placed a smile on her tan slightly freckled face brushing a long strand of sister-locs out of her eyesight.

Holding up a brown bag with the familiar Ritual's logo on it, the little one motioned for her to take it out of his hands, "I'm full but I will most likely finish this later on the trip there.." he gave a small yawn as she chuckled at his formal yet mature response taking the bag out of his small hands and opening the backpack that was meant for him placing the supposed semi eaten Jamaican patty in his travel bag.

"Tell me why have we come down to mingle with the mortals here..?" his tired eyes fluttered open and close as he rested his head on her lap for comfort and most importantly support.

"Solaris, you know Nepheli wanted to go to Paris don't you..?" the familiar silky deep voice came to her ears making her head turn to its source, she straightened her posture and smiled showing off her pearly whites. The little boy in response to his question groaned and rolled his eyes.

"Did you get through with the ATM?" she asked, watching as the young man took a seat on the opposite side of her nodding his head as he did so. He glanced down to the boy's head laying very nicely on her thighs, his curls falling quite perfectly around his face as his breathing became slow with his chest rising and falling slowly, he was getting a little too comfortable down there.

"Yeah, I did, ah, Pheli how long again do we have to wait..?" he gave a sigh, closing his muddy brown eyes, his long lashes patting his tan cheeks. His body leaned towards her, his large hands wrapped around her waist minding the little one's head. He placed his cheek on her head reminding himself that he couldn't stay there for long.

The young woman chuckled at her lover's neediness, swiping down on her phone's screen to check the widgets digital clock she read out the time for him, "4:30 AM.. so we have ten more minutes until the plane gets here.." moving a few strands of his straight hair away from her sleepy brown eyes, he raised his head and pecked her temple with his lips before moving one of his arms to fish out his phone that was stashed away in his deep pockets.

"I am gonna take a good snooze on that plane.."

"You better, sleep all the way if you have to.."

"Okay, okay, haha, I will..!"

"AW, IS HE YOURS?"

⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪ˎˊ˗ ——— 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐆𝐀𝐙𝐄  landed onto an older woman who cooed at the sleeping beauty in her arms, she gave her a small smile patting the little one's back in a rhythmic motion, "Ah..no he's not mine, just a boy im taking care of..!" was her response, having her lover accept the bottles of water that they asked for.

With a nod and a soft goodbye, the women continued strolling the cart through the single aisle handing out refreshments until the first meal came a few hours later.

"Sol.." she whispered into his ear gently tapping his shoulder with her index and middle manicured fingers, her fingers were cold and uncomfortable to the touch making his brows knit together, her voice slowly registering to him as his mind took him out of his unconscious state.

With a sleepy humm he slowly pushed himself off the young woman's chest rubbing his droopy brown eyes while his fluffy cream curls covered them quite nicely, with a quiet yawn and a few stretches he finally opened his eyes to face his supposed caretaker for this trip of one week.

"Are we...there yet...?" His voice was quiet and babyish, maybe because he is technically one, as his eyes blinked open and close once or twice, he re-adjusted his position moving his bum to sit properly on her lap only to be taken from his resting place by big strong arms.

"Hey-!"

"Shh, let your mom eat in peace Sol.."

"She's not my mom....weirdo..."

His tinted cheeks puffed out due to her lovers comment releasing a soft giggle from the two young adults, she took a deep breath, placing back the magazine that she took out in hopes to distract herself from the growing hunger, her hands took the plate of food from her lover whispering a quiet thank you before clasping her hands together to say a quick payer, then a with a satisfied smile she tucked in eating the continents that looked quite appetizing at the moment.

While she was having her meal the two boys in the group was having their own conversation in hushed whispers, the younger one's ears burned a bright red when the young adult teased him about his comfortable sleeping position on his lovers body, he fiddled with his fingers with his gaze trailing from the tall young man towards the short lady next to them his body facing her direction as he sat on her lover's lap and as swiftly as that topic came up the supposed ten year old slyly smirked at his comment folding his arms while sending him a tease of his own.

"You wish you were me though huh?~"

"Pfft- what? Where did you learn that stuff from..!?"

⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪ˎˊ˗ ——— 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐑  way out of the international airport the automatic doors greeted them at the exit, while their luggage trail behind them they watched as Paris poured down how it was feeling that night, the harsh drops of water fell quickly from the sky and with the now chilly breeze increasing the coldness even more the young couple and child shivered slightly.

Nepheli smiled, slipping her hand into her hoodie pocket tiptoeing to place her soft glossy lips on her lover's cheek, "Thank you again for this trip love.." she gestured to the rain her droopy eyes smiled at its downpour while her mouth whispered, "PARIS is so pretty when it RAINS....."

"It is, isn't it..?" his arm curled around her waist hosting the sleeping beauty that rested peacefully on his back, his little snores was inaudible with Paris's cries but nonetheless it somehow made the experience much better for him.

Nepheil's manicured fingers was busy tapping on her screen trying to find an uber to drop them to the hotel they booked for while her lover had his drowsy eyes on her, telling himself for the millionth time that she looks quite breathtaking doing anything, wearing any clothing no matter what it is. "You're definitely my PARIS IN THE RAIN..~" he kissed her forehead, earning a snort and a small smile appeared on her face.

i honestly really enjoyed this song when i first found it...like what, three to two years ago? I always came back to this song to breathe and you know calm down, I'm not really a big fan of Lauv songs, I haven't listened to them all to actually say I'm a fan of some sort, but this song right here..amazing!
