▋ surprisingly, bucky can cook. he actually
      really enjoys it and would rather cook
      something for himself than order
      something

⇲ but on the contrary, bucky loves
going to diners. they give him a
sense of nostalgia and he just can't
help himself. he goes to one a
few times a week.

▋ he likes to write. sometimes he'll catch
      himself journaling and then turning it into
      a story. he always tries to write everything
      down and he always keeps his notebook in
      his pocket.

⇲ bucky also draws and draws and
draws. he'll admit that he did
gain the habit from steve, but it
definitely has helped him.

▋ bucky loves to be warm. he always has a
     jacket on. the cold weather doesn't bother
him, but during his time in the 107th, he
got his fill of cold. he lived in a tent and
always yearned for warmth

⇲ he also likes blankets. when he gets
to sleep or is just being lazy, you'll
find him wrapped up and snuggled
into blankets. he'll throw in some
pillows too because why not

▋bucky definitely can get drunk. he's usually
giddy and outgoing in his drunken state.
he feels like he's back in the 40s when
     he's drunk. sometimes it doesn't end that
     way and he's even worse off. it's like a hit
     or miss

⇲ this is often a problem because
bucky finds himself drunk a lot. no
one really knows of his drinking
problem as he deals with it himself

▋bucky has grown fond of his long hair
actually. he likes the things he can do with
it, often putting it up in a bun or letting
someone braid it. he does miss his short
hair from time to time though

⇲ bucky won't cut his hair
short again because it hides the
electrical scars he got from being
wiped over and over again

▋bucky's never been a big fan of coffee since
he's only tried it with sugar and milk bc
that's how his mother made it. he tried it
black once and now he loves it

⇲ when he went to starbucks for
the first time, he ordered black
coffee and he swore the barista
was going to stare a hole into him
if they judged him any harder

▋bucky is a very anxious person among
    almost everyone. results of this is that he's
    very quiet and nervous, but tries his best
    to keep talking

⇲ as a cause of this, bucky's
biggest nervous tick is chewing or
biting on his lip. he developed it
back when he was younger and
it just followed him

▋bucky doesn't really do the whole "sleep"
    thing very well. most nights he just stares
    at his ceiling or reads a book to pass the
    time. how badly he wants to sleep though

⇲ some nights, he can sleep, but the
poor man usually gets nightmares.
contrary to popular belief, it's not
always about his time with hydra.
he often has nightmares of when he
was a soldier of the 107th. he was
drafted – he didn't want war, but
it's definitely taken its toll

▋when he was a boy, his mother taught him
how to play the piano. he was very
talented, but as the years went by, he
couldn't play. well, more like didn't have a
choice. he now has picked it back up and
plays whenever he can

⇲ before bucky got his own keyboard,
he would go into music shops and stay
in there for hours. he would play on
their keyboards to his hearts delight
or until he was kicked out
