SEUNGJIN STARED AT HIS NOTEPAD, SITTING ON THE FLOOR. He'd been sitting there for the past three hours, his butt was hurting from sitting on the hardwood floor but he didn't move. He was so concentrated, trying to perfect the lyrics for a song that would hopefully get in their next album. That's what Bang PD told him after he showed the team a demo he had, if Dani was able to write some theme-appropriate lyrics for the song, it would become a track of their next comeback (Dark & Wild, best album btw).

He was so in his head trying to get the perfect lyrics, that he didn't even notice Jin standing in front of me, that's until the latter screamed his name out. "Daniel!"

He slowly raised his head, barely jumping at the shout. He blinked as his eyes adjusted to the light on top of the oldest's head. "Hmm?"

"Don't 'hmm' me. I've been calling you for a minute and twenty-seven seconds." Jin scolded which made Daniel frown. 

"You counted?" He raised an eyebrow at Jin as he got up, groaning a bit. That position wasn't as comfortable after hours.

"You counted?" Jin mocked, deepening his voice to match Daniel's before raising his hand as if he'd hit him. 

Daniel caught his hand before it would get to him with a deep chuckle. "My bad, My bad. What did you need?"

Jin pulled his hand away, ignoring the chuckle (and its effect on him of course.) He looked up. "You would know if you'd been listening. I need you to pick Jungkook up from school. I am going grocery shopping with Yoongi and Namjoon, I won't be able to."

"Uhm, yeah sure but why can't Jimin or Tae do it? Or hobi?" 

"I don't know, why not?" Jin raised an eyebrow almost daring him to ask again.

Daniel noticed the look which made him throw his hands up in surrender. "I get it. I'll go pick him up. Already said I would." He started walking to their shared bedroom.

"You better," Jin muttered to himself.

Daniel walked to the little dresser, putting on a silver chain around his neck, a watch and some rings, it went well with the simple grey sweatpants and loose black tee he wore. As he got ready, he caught the attention of the bickering duo behind him.

"Yo, you're going somewhere?" Jimin asked as he slung his arm around the tall boy's shoulder. Daniel glanced down at him and nodded.

Taehyung got on his other side. "Where to?" 

"I'm going to pick Jungkook up from school," Daniel answered, spraying a light amount of perfume on him.

"Can we come with?" Jimin looked up at him, watching Daniel ruffle his hair so the slightly long hair would just fall on his face. Mesmerizing, honestly.

"Sure. Be fast, we're out of here in 10 minutes." He told them before walking out of the room, and back into the living room. He took his phone out as he waited for them. Didn't take too long.

Soon enough they were out of their dorm, going in Jungkook's school direction. 

Daniel, Jimin and Taehyung were all standing at the gate of Jungkook's high school, waiting for the latter to come out. Daniel looked down at his phone as his two friends talked about whatever subject. Of course, even when he was there, his mind was set on the lyrics he'd been working on for hours. Constantly typing and retyping stuff on his notes. 

"Daniel." Tae shook his arm while Jimin snickered.

"Hmm?"

"I think those girls are checking you out." The former told him, subtly (not really) gesturing towards the group of girls.

Daniel looked almost uninterested, still checking to see if it was true, which it was. They were probably around Jungkook's age since they wore the same uniform. Sure, their group wasn't the most known but it was an undeniable fact that Daniel was very handsome, which caught people's attention. 

He stared at them until they'd looked away. When they did he looked back down at his phone. Jimin looked at him weirdly. "Dude, not even a wave. You're so cold."

He barely glanced at him, too engrossed with the content on his phone. 

"Like Ice cream," Tae added which made the others look at him in confusion. A little embarrassed he rubbed the back of his head. "I saw Ice cream at the convenience store, can't stop thinking about it."

"Oh! Yeah. The soft-served one?" Jimin snapped his fingers, making sure they had the same thing in mind.

"Yeah!" Tae nodded.

Daniel just looked between them, frowning at the unknown word. "Soft-served?" Yeah, he's been in Korea for 5 years but he still feels like any other foreigner. He learns a new word every day. 

"Uhm, those who are kinda swirly, not scoops." "The soft swirly ones." 

He stared at them before nodding, kinda understanding. The next second, they all heard the bell ring which meant all classes were over. Didn't take long for them to see Jungkook coming out of the school gates. 

The teen looked around trying to find either Jin or their manager. To his surprise, he found the maknae line waiting for him. A smile found his features as walked towards them. 

"Hyung!" Jungkook called out as he got closer. 

Daniel smiled at the teen, before saving the lyrics he wrote, not wanting them to just disappear. He looked back up to see the other two with Jungkook already. He approached them and ruffled the maknae's hair.

"What's up? How was school?" He asked Jungkook who hummed.

"Boring."

He nodded. "As expected." They both laughed. He looked up and saw Jimin and Tae bickering about Ice Cream flavors.

Jungkook looked up at Seungjin and tilted his head. "Why'd you pick me up?" He asked, it wasn't everyday that the older one would go out, especially not near a school.

"Jin asked me to do so." He looked at the youngest's expression, seeing the confusion before chuckling. "He's grocery shopping."

"Oh, cool." He nodded and they continued walking. As they passed the convenience store, it got quiet, everyone, except Daniel, looking at it. He looked up from his phone and watched his members stare at the store. He rolled his eyes.

"Do you guys want Ice Cream?" He asked the three who looked at him eagerly. They nodded and pulled out his wallet. He pulled his card and gestured for the store.

"Yes!" Jimin and Tae high-fived before running into the store, Jungkook and Daniel following them.

Seungjin stood at the counter, waiter for the youngins to get what they wanted. He muttered a few lyrics, trying to get it's feel but was interupted by Jungkook. He looked up.

"Hyung..?" Jungkook muttered and showed a snack he really liked. He came to ask since he wasn't the one paying.

He looked at the snack and at the maknae. "Get whatever you want." As if he'd say no.

It didn't take too long for them to get out of the convenience store, with a lot more bags than he'd expected. They're lucky he gets money.

As they walked down the streets, going back to their dorm, ice cream in hand.

"Guys, what do you think about these lyrics?
비가 오는 짙은 색 서울 그 위에
여전히 잠 못 이루는 내가 흐려지네
저 비가 그쳐 고인 물 위에 비쳐진
오늘따라 더 초라한 내가 그려지네 oh ah" He sang the possible chorus before looking at them. They nodded while licking their icecreams.

Jimin put a thumbs up. "It's good." V said while Jungkook tried to sing it too.

"Mhm...I'll ask Namjoon..." He muttered the last part, he trusts all his members opinions but for lyrics, he always goes to their leader.

"비가 오는 짙은 색 서울 그 위에
여전히 잠 못 이루는 내가 흐려지네" Jungkook sang along and nodded. "I really like it. Is it gonna be in the album?"

Daniel patted his head. "Hopefully."

It's been over 6 months since I've updated this book, lmao. I was in a good mood and decided to give y'all something. It's not much, kinda got lost at the end but I like it, a little.

I lowkey ship Seokjin and Seungjin, that little moment between them made my heart flutter but whatever. I'm hoping to put out another chapter, the BTS thirsting over Daniel pt 2 one. I wouldn't mind some ideas. I love have 6 parts, I would like to get to 9 parts in the chapter. If you have ideas, I beg 🙇🏾
